soohwa refuses to admit that he’s sulking and the thing that he’s really not — he really is —, because if he were, it’d mean that he’d have a reason to be sulking when he absolutely doesn’t. there’s no reason whatsoever for him to be anything but cool, just chilling in his room with crup — that clearly sensed his distress and is on soohwa’s lap, trying to get soohwa to pet him while his owner is clearly distracted with his phone —, going through stuff on his phone to distract himself before he decided to go back to studying. technically he was watching a movie with hyunki before the other left, and he just saw no point in keeping going when the whole point was for them to watch it together and he knew the other wouldn’t be coming back today for them to keep watching it. beside he always has some topic he needs to look over anyway.
apparently hyunki had a friend emergency to deal with which of course soohwa let him go because emergencies are emergencies. they have a lot of sundays to hang out together anyway, one less won’t make that difference. besides, he’s not that unreasonable to throw a fit over something like that.
the reason why he’s absolutely not throwing a fit about is completely different.
because you see, when hyunki said an emergency, soohwa would never imagine that it’d involve him being all over someone else in social media. he was imagining something much more serious than that, maybe someone needing comfort because of a bad situation, maybe they needed hyunki to drive them to some place because someone got hurt, something like that. but not— soohwa is completely aware that this isn’t his business though, that whether or not hyunki just ditched him to go make kissy faces with someone else when it was their day together isn’t something he should feel this bothered about (and listen, he’s not), because hyunki has the freedom to go make kissy faces with whoever he wants, even if that who isn’t soohwa.
whatever, hyunki could go and kiss the whole mokseong alumni, have sex with them while he’s at it and then brag about it all over social media — while apparently he and soohwa need to be this national security secret, but that’s another can of worms that the head student won’t open today, or ever —, see if soohwa cares.
he’s just about to reset for the 13th this match of solitaire on his phone (because he refuses to admit defeat and destroy his 100 percentage of victory) when cookie leaves his lap and goes to the door, whining excitedly like hyunki is about to— “what are you doing here?” he frowns, a little more surprised than annoyed (for now). “why did you come back?”
