Tbh I don’t really think about MT much so I’ll just make up some stuff!!
-the brothers weren’t born to a mafia family, they climbed the rungs, did the work, and started their own family from the ground up pretty much
-Asgore is head of the police department but he’s like. Really bad at his job. Really. Undyne’s the one who’s really in charge and everyone knows it
-Toriel is the mayor, and she is tired. It’s a hard job man. Especially with humans constantly breathing down her neck for being a monster
-Alphys wound up working for the brothers almost entirely by accident. She didn’t even realize she was technically involved in the mafia for a hot minute lol
-Mettaton 100% knew what he was getting into and was SO fine with it, he’s not just a pretty face, he’s good with a gun and that sort of lifestyle exhilarates him, loves being *the star performer of the brothers’ nicest venue
-Grillby isn’t just the barkeep, but their tailor, too! He’s very good at his job but Sans always ruins his suits with grease stains </3
