“Speculating”
They aren’t even being subtle about it anymore. I mean, they haven;t been, but this is just ridiculous. If you were wondering why this rare from Avacyn Restored was spiking for no real reason where here is your answer. The inside traders are at it again. There was some people defending it when Pioneer was released and “well you could have guessed that there was a new format coming so they bought old staples” but this one is just a combo that comes from a new card that couldn’t have been just speculated on. People had to know that there was a card that would specifically interact with this one to invest so vigorously in a card that has fallen out of popularity until now. Its a shitty thing and further makes me lose hope for the employees at WotC since they are leaking information and possibly even doing the insider trading themselves.

WOW :: Thanks Commander players (?) - I had picked up a few copies of Primordial Hydra in September, 2012 for just $ 3.50 to find out today that these are now worth just North of $ 35 now, thanks in some part to the new Commander 2020 Zaxara / Enhanced Evolution deck.
Sooo... I am EXTRODINARILY fucking salty right now... The FIRST TIME EVER that i pull the holy grail jackpot in a set, i end up getting screwed over... I got TWO jewelled lotus last night. One in my booster box, and one in my 2nd pack for draft. Thursday, they were $120. Yesterday, by the time i opened them... Theyre fucking $45.
Obviously thats still a great value, especially since my box only cost me like $70 out of pocket (because of store credit), but that insane price nose-dive fuckin HURTS. I literally had zero intention of keeping them and was GOING to sell them, but nobody even wants to buy them at $45, because "if the price dropped THAT much after one day, imagine what it'll be next week".
Like i said, salty as fuck. I know its petty, but... God damn, dude...

Last night I was looking up card values for my Magic collection. I’m considering selling some cards in order to buy an Oculus Quest when it comes out.
Any suggestions for selling MTG cards? Despite more than 20 years of collecting Magic cards, I’ve never really sold any before.
