Maybe Jace with an s/o who’s an empath? Like they’re sensitive to the emotions of others (especially strong ones(man how did they even survive Ravnica??)) but always tries to be cheerful regardless? Idk just the idea with Jace hanging around with a ball of sunshine for an s/o is a very good concept to me or maybe I’m just projecting who knows

Jace with a cheerful empath s/o

-Jace knows what it's like to pick up on the thoughts/feelings of those around him, so he is surprised and impressed that you can stay cheerful and not let it get to you.

-He would still get worried sometimes though and would try to find some way to use his abilities to give you some kind of relief when you are exposed to strong negative emotions. This hopefully does not backfire horribly.

-He finds your cheerfulness adorable and being around you automatically makes his day better because he can both see and feel how happy you are.

-When you aren't around, he is kind of scared that something will happen to you or he'll do something to ruin your relationship because it's TOO perfect. You might feel small traces of this from time to time when you see him again after being away from him.

-Overall though, interacting with you is enough to ease these fears and the change is very noticeably felt when he starts to calm down after you walk into the room.

Hello! Do you have any headcanons that you want to talk about but no-one's ever asked a specific enough question? No particular fandom, I just like reading your thoughts on things.

Most of my headcanons are for MtG oopsie. Here's a fun one I dont get to talk about a lot bc I dont do a ton of modern/"our world" AUs though. Real-world nationalities!

Here's a few:

-Jace as half white half Korean. No real reason for this one aside from him looking really similar to some models I've seen. I feel like it fits though.

-Ral is, of course, Czech. I like imagining him with that sort of accent, i really like them hhfhfhdg. People tend to forget that Ravnica is basically Magical Prauge, which is sad bc I like the culture a lot! I try and reference it when I can.

-Chandra is pretty self explanatory... Indian, probably mixed a little. I guess pyromancy just makes you ginger? Lmao.

-Every time my friends talk about this, Australian Nissa always comes up and I sort of love it??

-Gideon is also pretty self explanatory. I saw someone describe him as Afro-Greek once and I really like that?

-Liliana is from Dominaria and like, iirc the kinda more European fantasy kinda parts, so probably like, English?

I think that's it off the top of my head. I dunno I just think it's sorta neat to think abouttttt

MTG Headcanon: Tamiyo and Dovin Baan

Time: A couple months ago Place: Tamiyo’s home on the plane of Kamigawa

It’s taken time, tears, and tenderness with her family, but Tamiyo has finally begun to recover from her encounter with Emrakul and the botched and misguided interference of Jace and his fellow planeswalkers. There is still a slight tremble in her hand, but she has decided to begin letting other planeswalkers into her home again.

The very first planeswalker who comes to visit her at this time isn’t her good friend Narset or the tenderhearted Ajani; it is a Vedalken named Dovin Baan. Dovin had only visited her home once before, and he had clearly not been impressed with Tamiyo’s Story Circle. Still, he had followed every house rule and then some, so she tried to show him courtesy when he arrived.

After greeting him, Dovin nodded slightly and then remarked on the tremble in Tamiyo’s hand and commented that it was likely the result of insuffient sleep or dehydration, and listed some suggestions to remedy it. Tamiyo ignored the comment, smiled politely, and asked Dovin how she could help him.

Tamiyo treasures stories, but the long and detailed account that Dovin shared was perhaps the driest tale she’d ever heard. He went on and on about some kind of fair on his home plane, the renegades who were giving him trouble, and then finally got around to asking Tamiyo if she could help him with investigating crimes. She waited patiently throughout the story, and didn’t speak until her guest had said all he needed to say.

By the time the Vedalken finished, it was nearly dinnertime and Tamiyo was about to invite him to eat with her family when Nashi came in the room to tell them supper was ready.

Dovin Baan took one glance at Nashi and wasted no time listing off the young Nezumi’s many flaws to Tamiyo. The ill-fitting clothes, patches of raw skin, chewed fingernails, stuttered speech, and uneven gait were all laid out in a trail of clipped words from the Vedalken. Nashi ran out of the room trying to hide his tears of embarrassment.

Tamiyo was furious. Her son had made so much progress in the last year, and was really starting to become comfortable with his place in Tamiyo’s family. And now this visitor had come in and made Nashi feel like an outsider in his own home. She had not felt so livid and betrayed since-

Tamiyo looked at her guest and decided someone as important as an inspector didn’t have time for things like dinner invitations. She stood and motioned for the door, then smiled and said through cold eyes, “I really think you should meet the Gatewatch, Baan.”

Can I ask for headcanons concerning the five OG Gatewatch members dealing with a cold?

Yay, this is my first ask! I am going to assume that this is one of those bad colds that really fucks you up once it gets going because I had one of those recently and was scared it might have been something worse, but it turned out not to be.

Gideon

-Will realize he has a cold once the tissues stop working. This will probably be before he uses up a whole box, but it won't be immediate.

-Will calmly tell everyone what is going on and will try to take care of himself to the best of his ability because he doesn't want to get any of his friends sick. Chandra might still bring him something though anyway.

-Makes sure everything else is taken care of before he goes somewhere to rest so that he isn't leaving things too open ended.

-Might have a cup of tea or two which he sips at very slowly.

Chandra

-Will be in denial that she has a cold no matter how bad it is and will try to keep going unless someone pretty much makes her stop because she doesn't want to give up on doing things that she wants to do.

-If she is on Kaladesh when this happens, her mom might be able to accomplish this and will probably make sure she is ok. Also possibly Nissa or Gideon if they are around at the time.

-One of those people that will probably grab napkins and paper towels when there are no real tissues around.

-Will also try to go out and do things before she has actually rested enough.

Liliana

-Realizes that she has a cold very quickly because she is good at recognizing her symptoms.

-Finds the most comfortable place that she can rest up in because she knows she needs self care and she wants to get better ASAP.

-Will probably get her zombies to bring her anything that she needs while she waits it out unless it would attract the wrong kind of attention in the place where she is when she gets sick. Being a necromancer means you don't have to get up when your zombies are already walking around!

-Doesn't want to get other people sick/doesn't want people to see her sick, so she probably won't accept any help from anyone no matter who it is.

Jace

-Probably doesn't realize he has a cold until it gets REALLY bad and he can't take it anymore.

-When it does get that bad though, he immediately goes to rest up and drops everything he is doing regardless of how important it is.

-Depending on what point in the story this is at, he might convince someone he knows to get him some things for him if possible, most likely Kallist or Lavinia.

-Probably smuggles like ten packs of tissues in his cloak.

-Drinks unfathomable amounts of mint tea. Might run out of it at some point.

-Has to scramble around to not get anything on his cloak while he has the cold because he doesn't want to have to take it off and it's warm.

Nissa

-Another person who realizes that they have a cold early on.

-Will find a decent and convenient place to rest, most likely outside somewhere.

-Might accept some help, but will probably want to recover on her own and rest in silence.

-One of those people that recovers from colds quickly and even the worst ones probably won't last for more than a day with her.

Do you have headcanons about Sorin, Nahiri and Ugin in a Modern AU?

Sure! I am going to assume they are human in this AU too.

Ugin

-The friend that is really tired and overworked constantly, but enjoys what they do.

-Probably some kind of scientist

-Has one of those very minimalist apartments

-Looks up various ancient cultures and historical things as a hobby

Sorin

-Works some kind of night job that pays really well

-The depressed person who seems to know everyone

-Is a single father, Avacyn being his daughter in this. He does his best to take care of her, but struggles sometimes.

-Probably needs to be dragged out of his house to go do things occasionally. He prefers it when his friends come to his house though so that he doesn’t have to go out.

Nahiri

-The kind of person that gets into fights outside of a Hottopic and thinks she is a badass. Idk why, she just gives off that vibe.

-Makes sculptures. Is passionate about it. Went to art school at some point.

-Gets really worked up over politics and will get angry when the news is on sometimes.

-Probably does a lot of volunteer work.

For the imagine ask, I'm asking for... A school AU. With the "younger" Planeswalkers in it, like Teyo, the Kenrith, Domri, Calix, Aminatou etc.

This is a fun idea! I am going to go with a college AU here I think. I am going to leave out the twins though because the premise is too similar to Strixhaven and I have not read that yet. If you want me to write one up though later after I read it, please ask for it and I will write out my headcanons separately when I am all caught up.

Teyo

-That quiet nerdy guy that sits in the back of class

-Usually goes to bed early, has all his homework finished reasonably well enough, ect

-Gets dragged places by Rat frequently to try to get him to experience new things. He always has fun when this happens.

Domri

-That guy that shows up to parties and ends up breaking things

-Rarely in class

-Runs some kind of very disorganized political club

Aminatou

-One of the kids of a professor

-Way too smart for her age

-Really likes moths and butterflies. Will often wander off to try to catch them.

Calix

-Does really well in all his classes and learns things very quickly

-Is the head of either a sewing or knitting club

-Gets really absorbed in his studies and doesn't have too many friends outside of said knitting/sewing club

Self indulgent BONUS:

Oko (because I love him and really feel like writing something for him involving this AU)

-Hangs out in the nearby woods a lot with random people he just invites to hang out with him

-Skips class a lot to go hang out in said woods

-Goes on long rants about how the government is fucked up

-On a debate team because he likes to start shit and mess with people

-Part of a D&D group where he keeps making druids. He likes to spam polymorph so that he can turn people into elks and it is an ongoing joke in his group.

Do you have headcanons for Calix?

I apologize that this took so long. I have had a busy week and hunting down lore for Calix has been a little bit of a challenge. I also apologize if these headcanons are not perfect since I sadly couldn't find much content for this guy (which is a shame because he is cool!).

-Probably gets confused by other planes a lot at first. He was made for one purpose and can sometimes get too caught up in it.

-Would probably be walking around awkwardly wherever he ends up for a while like someone who doesn't know where they are but doesn't want to ask for directions.

-When he does get used to the plane that he is on though, he will have a great time learning about new things and will want to try EVERYTHING.

-Over time he will start to get more comfortable trying new things and the awkward walking around phase would probably go away and be replaced by some kind of excitement, even if he is still very focused on his purpose.

Sure! Sorry things have been going slow. I have had a lot going on. I will be working on your previous request too as soon as I get a hold of a copy of the book I want to read first. It is one of the few older ones I don't have. Also sorry if these are kind of short here.

Omnath:

-Their personality changed after combining more than one kind of mana. They probably have qualities associated with blue, red, and white now like possibly more or a temper for red, ect.

Yarok:

-After what happened to Bala Ged, there are a lot more Fenlurkers wandering around.

-There are also probably not that many Healers.

-When you get deep enough into Bala Ged, you can probably feel something unplacable that reminds you of crying.
