I love rats, and I like unusual magic cards. So, it only makes sense to illustrate a repeating pattern of endless rats.

Hi Mark, how are you? In the past you often mentioned that you couldn't test cards in older formats because of team limitations, ending up with bans. Could the new Play Design team fill that role in a near future and help with those tests, even suggesting new cards to help balance the environments? Thanks.
Our plan is to start by making Standard and Draft top-notch. If we have extra resources once that is accomplished, we will see how best to use those extra resources.
After big delay I found appropriate time to update my print shop where you can find almost complete collection of my MTG illustrations and some more... Haven't posted anything in ages! Anyway, here's Nuisance Engine built out of Lego.
Hi Mark. First I'd like to say that I'm Very Hyped about Unstable and Return to Dominaria. Those are trully amazing news! Now my questions, if you could please answer them: are there Masterpieces in Hour of Devastation? And how many planeswalkers are in the set? Thanks!
There are new Invocations and two planeswalker cards in Hour of Devastation.
Hi Mark. With Amonkhet's Release and its Planeswalker decks, we will have 4 Nissas, 3 Chandras, 3 Gideons and 3 Lilianas in Standard. All with very strong versions for constructed. But only 1 Jace that's barely constructed playable. Why? Is this due to the old Grudge some people have against Blue? Thanks!
Wow, I don't get a lot of "Where's all the Jace" questions? : )
Are there any debates inside Wizards regarding Frontier (or a similar format)? Can we get any updates? Thanks!
There's not much to debate. We're aware the format exists and like all formats are paying attention to how players are liking it.
