Alternative to barbell rows/curls?

I'm starting the Muffin Topless fit body program soon. Looking through the workout info, I see that there are a few barbell exercises. My gym doesn't have them. Should I just do dumbbells? Feels like a stupid question but I'm wondering if there are any other exercises that would be good. We have most weight machines and a big cybex machine, but the only free weights we have are dumbbells. Thanks!

Got super strong doing muffintopless's like from thinking 10lb dumbbells were heavy to durinng 45 lb pulldowns, squatting 3x12 with a 60 lb barbell, and doing upright rows with a 40 lb barbell. My diet is pretty healthy but like not enough to be skinny I guess so while I look hella toned and nice, definitely don't have the thin, tiny frame I hoped for. Devoting sometime to lots more cardio *gags* and hopefully better tracking of my meals *throws up more*

Today was cardio and abs. Did about 25 minutes on the eliptical, I was going for 30 but I was SO thirsty.

Then I did stability ball crunches, russian twists, leg lifts and plank- I'm up to a minute now!

Also- I did a back bridge today! I haven't been able to do one in YEARS since playing vball in high school, my upper body strength has been so poor but I'm getting it back! It's a good feeling!

DB Squats, 15 lb weight

Bench step ups, 15 lb weight (in each hand)

Hamstring Curls (that big medicine ball is trying to kill me, I tell you)

Leg Extensions, 40 lb total (20 each side)- YAY the machine was fixed!

Leg Curls- 40 lb (YEOWCH!)

Calf Raises, 35 lb total- down from last week cause I definitely hurt myself...

Oh....and those f*&#ing stairs...

Abs and arms today. Warmed up on the Urgometer, then a bunch of bicep and tricep work with abs at the end. Need to work on my form for triceps so I did light weights to work on it! Also made up for missing cardio yesterday by walking 5 miles with the dog! Phew!

Push-ups (4x10), incline dumbbell press (4x15) and flat bench dumbbell press (4x15). Just banged it out this AM since this I could do at home- using furniture as the bench! (A chair for incline, and a chez lounge for flat) Hoooray for chest day/Friday!
