You were in the driveway of your parent’s house, taking deep breaths before you were ready to go on. You and Yoongi were sat in the back seat, holding hands tightly. Bennett and your sister were already getting out of the car. You looked over at your boyfriend, who had his eyes closed. You knew he really didn’t want to be here. “Alright, Yoongi, how about we just book the next flight back to Korea and get out of here right now? We don’t even have to go inside…”
“No,” he firmly responded, opening his eyes and looking at you, “we’re going inside.”
The look on his face was a look of determination. The man knew what he wanted, and you knew it wasn’t the time, but you thought he looked extremely sexy.
“Alright, let’s go in,” you responded, giving him a quick kiss on the lips before taking off your seat belt.
“I give flowers,” Yoongi added as you walked up to the front door. It was already open, but your sister was taking up the spotlight from it being her birthday and everything.
“Okay,” you whispered, letting him take the flowers for your parents out of your hands.
You walked through the threshold first, catching the attention of your dad, who looked at you like he was still mad at all the decisions you’d been making in your life. Your mom, on the other hand, went right into your arms. “Your dad and I are so glad you’re home, honey! We know plane tickets can be expensive, but it’s nice to see that you think your family is important enough!”
Your mom always made you smile at what she said. Although, you didn’t technically pay for your plane ticket, you were still willingly putting yourself and Yoongi through the torture that would be your sister’s birthday and Christmas with your family. When the hug finished, you knew you had to introduce your boyfriend. Your sister and Bennett had already headed into the house to greet the rest of the guests and your Grandma that were in the living room.
So taking a small leap of faith, you turned around and let Yoongi come into view. He still had the flowers in his hand, so you decided to introduce him.
“Mom, Dad, this is Yoongi,” you softly said, looking anywhere but into your dad’s eyes. You’d clearly caught them both by surprise.
“So he’s a friend.” Your dad said, not make a move to take a step closer to him or greet him personally.
You grabbed Yoongi’s hand, pulling him beside you and linking your fingers. “Actually, Yoongi is my boyfriend, Dad.”
Taking a deep breath, you could feel the disappointment hit you like daggers in the heart. Your mom, on the other hand, had a different look on her face; she was curious. She wasn’t one to judge vocally because she usually followed your dad’s opinions or they’d have a big fight and maybe get a divorce, but you knew that she felt things differently than him.
Yoongi took this chance to give the flowers to your mom and then formally bow to them, bending over and introducing himself, “Hello, my name is Min Yoongi. I’m very grateful to be invited into your house as a guest, and to have the opportunity to be with your daughter.”
You were surprised at his English. You’d never heard him speak so fluently before. He had to have asked Namjoon, right? It had to have be practiced. While you were surprised by his English, you knew that your parents were surprised for an entirely different reason—his bow.
“Y/N, dear, what’s taking so long? Get in here!” You heard your grandma’s voice from the living room. She was generally a fairly pushy lady, so you knew you had to get in there as soon as possible.
Yoongi was now out of his bow and looking at your parents. Your mom had a small smile on her face as she put her nose into the bouquet while your dad proceeded to look at you with a glare. You knew you’d be having a rough chat with him later.
“It’s nice to meet you…Y-Yoongi, was it?” Your mom made a gesture, holding her free hand out for him to take, slightly stumbling over saying his name for the first time. He took it eagerly and smiled at her.
“Let’s go inside, shall we?” You interjected, taking Yoongi’s hand in yours once again and starting a walk into the living room. On the way past your mom, you whispered to her, “His English is not that great. He had to have practiced that. Just keep that in mind.”
You pulled Yoongi into the living room, letting your parents trail behind the two of you.
You walked in with a huge smile on your face because you knew that the people in that room were the ones that would be completely accepting and excited about your relationship.
“Grandma!” You yelled, running up to her as she waited with her arms open.
She gave you a long hug, squeezing hard before asking, “And who’s this?” You knew she was talking about Yoongi, still being in your arms when she asked.
“Right!” You turned to Yoongi, surprised that he was only a foot behind you.
You looked into his eyes, seeing an expression you couldn’t read. You walked up to him, sliding a hand around his waist. Out of habit, he put his around yours as well, if not a little too close to your boob. “This is Yoongi,” you introduced them, looking at Yoongi with a small smile.
Yoongi let go of you to get into a bow, but before he could, your grandma walked up to him and gave him a hug. He was surprised at her actions, but returned her hug nonetheless.
Once the hug was over, Grandma led the two of you over to the couch to talk.
“So,” she started, taking a deep breath and not letting her eyes leave Yoongi. You knew she loved him already. “How did this all happen?”
“It just did. I’m actually teaching him English,” you admitted, letting your eyes wander around the room. Your dad was now sitting in his recliner and your mom say beside your sister, listening to what was being said.
“Oh, come on! I want all the juicy details!” She pried, sending you a wink. You had to stop yourself from laughing. She always did want to know more than she should.
“There’s really not much to tell,” you admitted. Yoongi nodded. You knew he could understand way more than he could speak at this point. This trip will have done him numbers.
“Ok, we’ll talk later then because this old bat wants to relive the glory days,” she whispered so only you could hear. She made you chuckle, that much hadn’t changed.
• • • • • •
“And this is my bedroom,” you said, pulling Yoongi through the door, finally getting some alone time away from your family. You quickly closed the door behind the two of you as he took a first glance around. You’d been giving him a tour of the house while everyone had a chat. You knew that your parents needed to talk, so you thought you’d steal your boyfriend away for a little while. After all, he had been just sitting with Bennett as you caught up with your grandma and mom. Your dad just stared at you, not saying one word.
Your room wasn’t particularly big, so it didn’t take long for him to find the shelf with all the pictures you had. Some were with your best friends and some were of yourself.
Coming up behind him, you wrapped your arms around his waist. “What are you looking at?”
His hands came over yours, linking your fingers together. “You,” was his simple answer.
A though popped into your head, and you were grateful that you no longer needed to stop yourself from thinking about it. You let yourself rest behind him for a few minutes, just taking in the comfortable silence. Your nose was in the back of his neck, and you shamelessly allowed yourself to smell him. You squeezed him tighter when you felt him hum.
After another minute, Yoongi turned around, holding your hands so they didn’t leave his torso. His hands went to each of your cheeks as he held your head in place.
You bit your lip as you looked up at him and revealed, “Listen…there’s this thing that I’ve always wanted to do…”
“Kiss,” he answered right away, catching you off guard.
“How did you know that I was going to say that?” You laughed, snaking your arms around his neck.
“You have kiss face.” You knew that some of your look were pretty vocal, but you weren’t aware that you had a kiss face. No wonder he always knew what you were up to before you could surprise him.
Before you could even close the distance between you two, however, Yoongi continued, “What if someone comes?”
“They’re in a deep conversation right now, I’m sure of it,” you assured, fiddling with the buttons on the front of his dress shirt. He really did look handsome today, and every time he wore a dress shirt.
Yoongi took a deep breath, pulling on the bottom of your hair. He clearly wanted to stall, but you just wanted a kiss. So, looking up at him through your lashes, you poked your lip out. You’d hoped it would help you get your way, but you’d tried it before, and it didn’t exactly always work…unfortunately for you. He was a man made of steel if he wanted to be.
You saw Yoongi look at you, eyes going from yours to your lips, before his thumb tried to push your bottom lip back into place. He gave his own pout before he finally caved and kissed you. His kissed your lips one at a time, slowly, before angling your head and kissing you deeper. “We sit,” he whispered, walking you backward before turning himself around and taking a seat on the end of your bed. You didn’t even have time to think about what was going on before he was pulling you onto his lap. It was actually quite comfortable, and it wasn’t the first time were on his lap. You guaranteed it wouldn’t be the last time. However, it was the first time you were on his lap…on your bed. Now, that was something exiting.
His tongue traced over your lips, waiting for you to take it further. And you did. You opened your mouth to him, slipping your own tongue past his lips. Your hands grabbed the hair at the back of his head as you pulled yourself closer to him. His hands moved down your sides to your hips before they started tracing the skin just over the band of your pants. Yoongi did this thing sometimes where he would blow a singular puff of air unto your mouth, making you laugh because you never knew when it was going to happen.
You smiled against his lips, causing a smile to appear on his. It was perfect moments like this that made you forget about what was happening just outside your bedroom door. “Yoon, I hope my family didn’t put you off too much already…”
Yoongi continued placing small kisses on your lips as he answered, “I need to talk to dad later.”
“Yeah,” you sighed, shifting in his lap until he grabbed your hips and held you down to him.
“Stop,” he whispered, shifting under you. “Just kiss.”
You couldn’t handle this man sometimes. He truly did make you happy in every situation.
“Don’t worry, I only wanted to kiss in here,” you laughed, pushing your lips back on his. Yoongi kissed you back immediately, making the most out of the situation.
“Y/N, honey, your mom wants you to come help set the table,” your grandma bursted through your door without even a knock. You pushed Yoongi away from you as quick as you possibly could, launching yourself off his lap and back onto your own two feet.
As soon as she saw what she walked in on, she closed the door behind her and whispered, “Oh, godness. You’re lucky I volunteered to get you…and Yoongi, you need to fix that hair, hun,” she said, hand on her hip like you’d been the ones to walk in on her instead.

The pullout couch on which you and Yoongi had been sleeping during your vacation had become a sort of sanctuary for the both of you. No matter what had been going on during the day, you’d be together on that couch come bedtime. You were laying on your stomach, head comfortably to the side as you watched him. His breath was even, eyes closed, as he moved his fingers along your back like it was a piano. He was freshly showered, and that was probably your favourite Yoongi —the complete natural state (flat, messy hair, along with clear skin). He devastated you, in a really good way. You couldn’t believe he’d willingly invited himself into your life. You didn’t deserve him.
You knew he had gone through struggles from the times you’d really spoken, so you wondered why he was subjecting himself to you.
Elsewhere in the apartment, your sister and Bennett had retired to her room about half an hour ago, and you knew they were watching the Golden Girls from the distinct voices and high-pitched laugh coming from Bennett. They had also been discussing you and Yoongi and how he was insane for putting himself through this. However, they were both so happy that you’d found someone who would do it for you.
“What are you thinking about?” You whispered, breaking the peaceful silence in the room. You were still looking at Yoongi’s face when his eyes opened at your question. A deep breath escaped from his nose in a sigh. He’d been thinking about something deeply. You’d almost used the idiom penny for your thoughts, but then you remembered that he may have not been familiar with it.
“Nervous,” his lips barely moved with his confession. A small frown, that you never wanted to see again, formed on his face. You turned onto your side, moving your hand to his face and letting your thumb lightly glide down his nose and lips before settling on his cheek.
You got that guilty feeling inside you again. “I’m sorry for putting you through this.”
He blinked once and then twice. “It was my choice.”
“We just haven’t had much fun together this trip, Yoon. I haven’t really seen any of your goofy side that I love. I’ve basically pushed you to come here with me. I suck,” you said, blowing a stray piece of hair from your face. When it didn’t move, he took it and tucked it behind your ear.
“You don’t suck. Tomorrow sucks,” he joked, cracking a small smile. It didn’t reach his eyes, however.
You frowned. How could you not?
“Don’t,” he whispered, grabbing your cheeks and forcing your lips into a pout. When he leaned in to kiss you, you almost forgot about what the conversation had been about.
Pulling back, you licked your lips and told him, “Yoongi, I’ll love you no matter what happens in the next few days.”
Tomorrow was your sister’s birthday, 3 days before Christmas. She always hated having a party before, but your mom was always insistent that she had a day that was not shared with anyone else. Your sister, on the other hand, didn’t care. In fact, it was her idea that Yoongi be introduced tomorrow instead of on Christmas Eve. The original plan was for him to stay home tomorrow.
He said something in Korean that you didn’t recognize, but it didn’t bother you. He sometimes didn’t know how to express himself in English, and you couldn’t fault him for that.
“Have you talked to the boys at all since we’ve been here?” You asked, pulling the covers up to your chin, ready for sleep to overtake you any minute.
He hummed with a nod of his head. “They miss you.”
“Me?” You laughed. You did miss them too, you had admit. “Do you miss them?”
“Yes, even though they just bug me all the time,” he admitted, wrapping his arms around yours and pulling you closer. You invited his warmth, tangling your legs with his.
“You love them,” was the last thing you managed to say before the his soft breathing and warmth lulled you to sleep.
• • • • • •
You woke up to your alarm that morning. After all, it was your sister’s birthday, so you were going to treat her like the queen she knew (and didn’t let anyone forget) she was.
Yoongi grumbled beside you, stirring, “Why alarm? We’re on holidays.”
Getting out of the warmth, you pushed his hair back from his face. Leaving a small kiss on his mouth, you replied, “I’m going to make my sister some breakfast and wake her up.”
“I still sleep?” His English came out broken in his morning voice, making you weak.
“Yeah, you don’t have to be awake for this,” you told him, chuckling when he simply tucked himself further into the cover and the pillows in reply.
Once Yoongi was clearly sleeping soundly again, you quickly brushed your teeth and got to work. Your sister was so easy to cook for. She loved eggs on toast. So you made her some scrambled eggs and then mixed them in a bowl with some salsa and an avocado.
Voila. Egg on toast. Easy as pie.
Coffee was clearly an essential, so you made a pot. The two men in the house would want some, and it wouldn’t be fair to just make enough for you and your sister.
You creaked the door to your sister’s room open, checking to see if everyone was decent and still sleeping. When you were satisfied that you could enter, you opened the curtains and played an oldies birthday song for her. She was always easy to wake, and as soon as the light hit the room, she was up. A smile graced her face as soon as she saw the coffee.
“Happy Birthday!” You exclaimed, putting the tray down on her lap.
“Wow, y/n! You really didn’t have to do this,” she said, taking a large sip from her coffee cup.
“It’s nothing special. We all know I don’t cook much more than eggs,” you laughed.
Bennett popped his head out from under the sheets, making his first appearance, “It’s more than what I do, so…”
With a laugh, you grabbed your coffee cup and went to exit the room. “Oh, by the way, mom texted me while I was making you breakfast. She wants us all over there by two. Something about a late lunch/early supper thing. I don’t know. Maybe they want to have a cribbage tournament or something.”
“Gotcha!” She winked, shooting you a finger gun. You took a sneak peak at the clock. It was already eleven, so you didn’t have much time to mentally prepare yourself and talk to Yoongi about what was coming.
So, you decided on getting reading as soon as possible. For some reason, dressing up for family events was a huge thing in your family; it was expected. You didn’t feel like freezing to death, so it wouldn’t be a dress, but black jeans and some sort of nice top would do the trick.
When you were rummaging around in your suitcase, Yoongi finally sat up. “Morning, sleepy head,” you cooed, smiling at his crazy hair.
You noticed him squinting at the clock on the wall, so you added, “It’s 11. We’re headed to my house at 2, so you can get ready whenever.” He nodded his head, closing his eyes again as he rubbed his stomach. “Oh, and coffee is in the pot.”
He gave you a thumbs up before putting on a shirt and walking to the bathroom. Beckett and your sister came out of the room, clearly searching for more coffee. You had decided on an outfit were also headed to the bathroom to get changed. You knocked once, and Yoongi opened the door. His hair was flat and wet now, toothbrush sticking out of his mouth. You smiled at your boyfriend. “I need to get changed.”
There was a glint in his eye when he nodded his head, pulling you into the bathroom. He shut the door quickly, spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing his mouth.
“Yoongi,” you whined. You hated getting changed in front of him, but he thought it was amusing how shy you could be. He’d seen every single part of you many times, but you were still unwilling to be real with him.
You groaned, going for the doorknob. You’d change in your sister’s room.
“Wait,” Yoongi grabbed your hand, pulling you into his chest.
You couldn’t help but smile at him. “What?”
“Good morning,” he whispered once before following up with the Korean equivalent. You tried not to let it get to you, but you couldn’t help it. He was clearly fishing for attention, and who were you to deny it?
“Morning,” you replied, stepping closer to him, so the back of his legs were against the counter. Quickly, you lightly rubbed your thumb over his bottom lip before giving him a peck. The kiss was just a distraction tactic, however, as you opened the door and went to your sister’s room.
“What was that about?” You heard your sister laugh from the kitchen.
Beckett’s voice answered, “Maybe he denied her morning advances.”
You changed your clothes quickly and stepped back into the living area. At the same time, Yoongi spoke, “No, she denied mine.”
Your sister smiled at you, and you shook your head. “Look, now is not the time. I’m nervous enough as it is, and we still need to talk about later!”
“Kisses make me less nervous,” he countered, picking out a pair of dress pants and a nice shirt. He needed the iron, you knew it, so you grabbed it for him quickly.
“Later. We have an audience,” you countered. You’d fantasized about kissing him in your childhood bedroom many times, so there was not a change that you were going to let that opportunity pass.
His lip pouted as he set up the clothes on the ironing board.
“So Yoongi, I think it’s important for us to talk about what our parents are like,” your sister said, sounding sad.
Yoongi nodded his head. “Y/N has told me some.”
“Good. So basically, grandma will like you because you love Y/N. But dad is going to be mean. Well, he’ll be pleasant and put on an act, but he won’t like you. Mom, well she can go either way. She may or she may not like you. It all depends on the situation.”
You watched as Yoongi took in the words. He was ironing, but as soon as your dad was mentioned, he gulped.
“Yoon, just please be yourself. I don’t want to win them over with a fake you,” you reasoned, wrapping your arms around his waist from behind. He nodded.
“On the bright side, it’s a very good thing that you’re meeting them today and not on Christmas Day because at least it’s a whole party today and not just out family,” your sister continued, walking to her room to get her dress for the day. She always wore dresses on her birthday, even though it was winter.
“Listen, Yoongi, as long as you make your intentions very clear and help out and be kind, I think you should be able to at least let them respect you. When I first met them, I was shitting my pants because of the way they could be. Some guy in my grade went home crying after Y/N’s sister brought him home. I didn’t want that to be me. I don’t want it to be you either,” Beckett explained.
Yoongi looked at you with a scared expression on his face, and you couldn’t even give him any comfort. You really wanted to, but you were just as nervous.

Quick A/N: Yooooo, I’ve been MIA, so I hammered this out quickly. Hopefully another one will be out sometime this weekend. Also, I love her relationship with Yoongi. He doesn’t do much talking in this part, but let’s wait until some shit goes down! Also, there’s a little smut in this part. It’s my fist scene soooo don’t be too harsh with your judgements. Anyways, enjoy. Doll x

Travelling with Yoongi was a new experience as it was very difficult to get out of Seoul without anyone noticing him. Both of you were wearing masks, and he was even more heavily disguised. In fact, you barely recognized him when you were waiting for him to get out of the bathroom at the airport. You only noticed because he walked straight toward you.
Big Hit was kind enough to offer to pay for both of your tickets home. After all, travelling in first class was easier to not be noticed, and your relationship was still on the down-low. Travelling to the middle of Canada wasn’t going to change because there were barely people there that listened to Korean music. Hell, you were living in Korea, and you barely listened to Korean music.
Yet, travelling with Yoongi was also extremely easy. All he did was sleep, so that’s what you did too. It was a much nicer trip than when you originally moved to Korea, but now, the closer you got to Canada, the more anxious you were becoming. This wasn’t a good idea. You knew something was going to go wrong. You knew that there would be a riff in your family by the time it was time to return to Korea. You two were set to head back on the first of January. so you only had two weeks to be with your family and friends. Really, you were just excited for your sister and grandma to meet Yoongi.
The airport in your city was small enough, so there was no way you could get lost, not that you would have anyway. Walking out of the terminal, you saw your sister waiting there with her boyfriend. They’d been together for a few years now, and you were happy to see him again too. Grabbing Yoongi’s hand, you hurried to the escalator to get down to where everyone was waiting for their loved ones.
His hand was quickly dropped, though, when you were on the ground floor. You ran to her, engulfing her in your arms. Your legs wrapped around her waist, and she spun you around. She really was your best friend. “I missed you so much!” She said into your neck before giving you a big kiss on the cheek.
Yoongi was waiting behind you timidly, patiently with a small smile on his face when you finally pulled away. He’d never seen you smile so wide, and it was a relief after all the crying you’d been doing recently because of your family. He didn’t want you to choose between him and your family as much as you did.
Grabbing his hand again, you pulled him closer to your sister and her boyfriend. You’d gotten the attention of a few people, but you couldn’t have cared less. “Yoongi, this is Y/S/N and Beckett, her boyfriend.”
Yoongi bowed at them politely, smiling and saying, “Hi, nice to meet you.”
You smiled at his cuteness. By this time, you’d completely taken off your mask, but his was tucked under his chin, a look that you thought was so attractive on him. You fixed a piece of his hair, and he sent you a look, bringing his own hand up to assess the situation. When he realized that nothing was actually out of place, he placed his arm around your shoulders and relaxed.
“Ok, this is so weird. I’ve never properly met any of my sister’s boyfriends before, and now I meet you, Yoongi, and I can hardly contain how cute you two are,” your sister blurted, blushing at her own words. Beckett laughed at her, rolling his eyes.
You shot your sister a look, saying that you two would definitely be talking later about everything. It was at that moment when you heard the baggage claim conveyor turn on. You were going to finally be able to get out of stinky airports.
The luggage came quickly, but you didn’t go straight to your sister’s apartment. Actually, she needed coffee, and you knew Yoongi did too, so you all stopped at the shop around the corner from where she lived. You were so happy that she moved out just after you moved to Korea. You couldn’t imagine bringing Yoongi home and having to stay with them.
When you’d all ordered your coffee, you looked at Yoongi, who had a content smile on his face. He smelled the coffee before taking a sip, putting his free hand on your knee. You thought it would be weird for him, coming and having to immerse himself in some place that he didn’t know. People were giving him looks, but you knew that he was so used to it by now that he didn’t even notice.
“So,” you addressed you sister, “what did Mom and Dad say when you told them that I was bringing somebody home?”
There was silence for a second before she answered, “Actually, so here’s the thing…”
“You didn’t tell them?!” You gasped, almost dropping your tea from shock.
Whispering under your breath, you almost started panicking, “Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God…”
Yoongi’s moved from your knee to grab your hand on the table. “It doesn’t matter, Jagiya.”
You didn’t know how he could be so calm in some situations. You were so nervous, and he looked like he was ready to take on zombies if they were to crash through the door.
“I tried to! But I didn’t want them to be unhappy before they needed to bed! I’m sorry, sis, I really wanted to but you know how hard it is to approach Dad…”
“Yeah, I know,” you sighed, deciding that you were going to be fine. Telling yourself that you were going to be fine. It was going to be fine.
“Ok, well now that that’s all settled, Y/N, I have to go to the bathroom,” she said, nodding her head at you.
“Right, I’ll come,” you played along. She wanted to talk, and you knew there was something she needed to talk about right now. Giving Yoongi a quick kiss on the cheek, you followed your sister to the bathroom.
When you were safely behind the doors, she sat on the counter and dramatically clutched her heart. “Holy shit, my dude, he’s so in love with you it’s sickening.”
With a small chuckled, you shook your head, “How do you know? We’ve literally only exchanged the words twice or something like that.”
“You’re shitting me right now. He looks at you like you’re a flowing river or a freshly bloomed rose or some sappy shit. Beckett has never looked at me like Yoongi looks at you,” she admitted, flipping some of her hair behind her shoulder.
Blushing, you could only smile and try not to laugh at her. You almost forgot about the way she spoke. “But anyways,” she continued, hoping off the counter and coming closer to you. “Please tell me about his gentlemanly ways…” Her winks were always so suggestive, and you had to laugh at her. She was always so invasive.
“I can’t tell you everything now, but like he’s selfish but in a really giving way. I don’t know how to explain it. He’ll get himself off, but he makes sure to always pay attention to me and what I want and like. It’s just so different. I mean, I’d only ever had sex with one other guy, but Yoongi is just such a better match for me.” You could feel your body becoming hot with all the talk of sex with Yoongi, and you knew that your sister could tell.
“You’re so cute, sis.” Her smile lit up the dimly lit bathroom as you playfully punched her. It was her fault that you were getting flustered.
Figuring it was about time that you got back to the boys, you grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the bathroom. Yoongi and Beckett were chatting to each other, which you knew was a good sign. Yoongi was at least opening up to someone besides the boys.
Sitting back down, he looked at you with a glint in his eye. What were they talking about?

When the four of you finally got back to her apartment, you knew that Yoongi was in need of a nap. You needed one too. The trip was so long. Beckett had to head back to his mom’s house because he promised to visit her.
You’d never been to the apartment, but your sister told you that there was only one bedroom, so you two would be sleeping on the pullout. On the bright side, you no longer had to sleep with Jin only a few feet away. When Yoongi walked right to the couch and laid down, you didn’t think anything of it. You wanted to nap, but you’d rather have a deeper sleep tonight, so you were going to simply take some time to figure out how you were going to talk to your parents.
“Ok, so my birthday is a couple days from now, so I guess that’s when Yoongi will meet the fam,” your sister concluded, looking for a glass for some water. Placing one in front of you and one in front of herself, she continued, “And I think Granny will love him, so there’s one other person.” Her last comment did comfort you. Granny was a very accepting person. She loved love.
“I think we should just do it like ripping off a band-aid. If you’re okay with not being the spotlight for a while,” you continued. It was her birthday, and you were going to make it very awkward. You could tell.
“I see them all the time. My birthday is just another day. You know that. I’d rather stay at home, but Mom loves birthdays.” She pulled you to her room, where she took off her jeans and shirt and put on some pyjamas. You wanted to do the same.
“Ok, I love you, you know. I don’t think I tell you that enough.” Getting to your suitcase, you pull out some comfier clothes and head to the bathroom.
You really just wanted to shower. It was quick, but by the time you got out, your sister had already started making supper, which Yoongi was trying to help out with. He liked to cook you food, but it was always Korean food. You had no idea how they were communicating together, but it seemed to be going well.
Walking into the kitchen, you sat down at the bar, eyes on Yoongi’s slim frame. He really was beautiful, and you liked seeing him so domestic with the person you loved the most besides him. When he finally spotted you at the bar, a small smile appeared on his face. His face was a little puffy from sleep, but you thought he was cute like that. He actually looked more rested than he had in a long time.
“Okay! Dinner is served!” Your sister exclaimed, putting a plate in front of you before filling another one for Yoongi. He sat across from you. You were sure that by the end of this trip, he would be missing food from home. You knew you had to make it a point to go out to get some during these couple of weeks.
He was doing this all for you.
“Hey, can you guys clean up after supper because I’m headed to the gym?” Your sister asked as she sat down. She was an avid gym go-er, and you were definitely not.
“No prob,” you said, stuffing the spaghetti that she made in your mouth. You didn’t realize how hungry you were until you actually started eating. By the looks of it, Yoongi felt the same.
Dinner was silent as you all stuffed your mouths full of food. But what was really on your mind was the fact that you and Yoongi were going to be in the apartment alone together for probably over an hour. You’d never actually been alone like that before. There were always people just in the next room.
Yoongi’s eyes met yours, and you wondered what he was thinking about. He was always so hard to read, and it seemed that the more you got to know him, the more you couldn’t tell what he was thinking.
“Ok, you can stop mentally undressing each other while I’m eating. Thanks,” your sisters voice sounded in your ears, breaking your stare with Yoongi. Yoongi smiled into his plate as you rolled your eyes. She was definitely not stupid.
“So Yoongi,” she continued, “tell me about the first time that you met Y/N.” There was a playfulness in her eyes, and you actually did want to know this as well.
You took another forkful of spaghetti, waiting for him to answer. He licked his lips before looking at you. His head was cocked to the side and he squinted, probably thinking about the first moment you met each other. “I liked that she didn’t know any of us. I get embarrassed at my English, so I did not talk. Spending time with her helps. She was different because she was a foreigner. I thought she was beautiful, but I didn’t realize how much until our lessons.”
He had to take his time thinking about the words he wanted to say, but while looking at your sister, you were so grateful that she was patient with him. He sounded almost robotic, but it was fine. Actually, you knew you had to make it a point to learn at least some Korean for him. How would you survive together if you didn’t? You stared at him with a smile, and he nodded his head in the cute way that he did.
“It’s so weird to think of ourselves as foreigners,” your sister laughed. Obviously, you weren’t foreigners here. “But, Y/N, Baby, tell me about the first time you saw Yoongi.”
Yoongi’s eyes closed the more he smiled as you answered, “I thought I was going to have a problem with him. Actually, I developed a big crush on him right from the start, a crush that Namjoon oppa knew about.”
“Namjoon knew?” Yoongi asked, clearly surprised. You nodded your head. Yoongi laughed. “Makes sense now.”
“What makes sense?” You sister asked, feeling left out of the conversation. The plates of spaghetti were temporarily forgotten.
“He is fluent in English, so we would talk often, and he would force me and Yoongi to be together.” Your reply was all it took for your sister to lose her shit.
“Soooo cute! Fuck, my relationship is so boring compared to yours,” she pouted, crossing her arms in fake annoyance. Standing up, she grabbed your plates and put them by the sink, heading to her room to get changed. She walked to the gym, you remembered, so you were sure that you and Yoongi would be alone for longer than anticipated.
“I’ll clean up if you want to go have a shower,” you told Yoongi, getting up to do some work. On your way passed him, you stopped and whispered in his ear, “It’ll be nice to not have Jin beside us.”
Yoongi smirked as he stood up and trapped you against the bar with his hands on either side, holding the countertop with a loose grip. “You can join me, you know.”
You blushed at his comment, placing a kiss on his neck. “I’ve already showered. Plus, my sister has to pay the water bill, so it needs to be quick.”
“It can be quick,” he bargained with a wink. You knew he was just playing around, and you rolled your eyes. Pushing his chest, you shoved him towards his suitcase to get some clean clothes.
Groaning something in Korean, he shuffled out of the kitchen.
“What’s he saying?” Your sister, now dressed in leggings and her winter coat with a toque and mittens, asked.
“I have no clue,” you admitted, starting to rinse the dishes before putting them into the dish washer.
“Ok, well, I’ll be back in about 2 hours, so please… behave.” She smiled, knowing that she didn’t have any authority over you. She just liked to tease.
“Oh, just leave already.”

It was quiet in the apartment for a while, the only sound was the shower running. You grabbed your toothbrush and casually walked into the bathroom to brush your teeth quickly. You didn’t want bad breath.
“Y/N, is that you?” He asked, poking his head out of the shower curtain. You smiled at how cute he was with shampoo still in his hair. His gummy smile made an appearance, but you were almost done brushing your teeth already, so you simply blew him a kiss and exited the bathroom.
You decided to get the couch ready into a bed because you were wiped. It had pretty much been one of the longest days of your life, and you knew you’d fall asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow. Caught up in your own little world, you didn’t hear Yoongi exit the bathroom, so when his hands wrapped around your waist from behind, you were startled.
His hands inched up your shirt, giving you chills. Kisses were left down your neck, and you fell back into him. “I like your sister.”
“Mhm. She likes you.” You put your hands over his, following their every move. He’s feeling every part of you, and you know that it’s only a matter of time before they sneak into your pyjama bottoms.
Spinning him around, you gently push him onto the hide-a-bed. He’s smiling up at you. He likes it when you decided what to do. Getting on top of him, can’t help but look at your boyfriend in only a t-shirt and underwear. You were so glad that he was all yours. His hands rubbed circles on your hips, as you leaned down to him, placing a kiss on his nose. “Please take your shirt off.”
“Only because you said please,” he teased, grabbing the back of the neck with both hands and getting the shirt off with one swift movement. He settled back onto the bed, watching your every move. You placed kisses down his face and neck before you got to his chest. Your lips moved across his skin, breath fanning just enough to cause goose bumps. You chose a few spots to nibble, but when you were at the front of his hip, just above the elastic of his underwear, you attached your lips. You sucked hard, but not too hard, just enough so that when you bit, like you did before, a small cluster of blood would rush to the surface.
You looked up at him to make sure that he liked what was happening. His eyes were heavy, but his hands were holding your hair back. You knew he would have stopped you if he didn’t like it. You didn’t normally go this slow, but you two had a lot of time alone with each other. When you were done attacking the spot, you lightly blew, causing him to shiver. His hands grabbed your arms, pulling you up to his face, catching his lips with yours.
Your kisses were sloppy, both of you clearly tired from the day, but it was fun. Being together at such a sloppy state was new. Yoongi’s hands went to your hips again, which were grinding against his, enjoying every moment of being close to him.
You were still in your top and shorts, so you quickly pulled the top over your head. You were already braless, so it was one less thing you’d have to worry about. Yoongi’s fingers slipped into the waist of your shorts, bringing the shorts and underwear down together. You hastily kicked them to the ground, halting the kiss with your boyfriend to look at him. His eyes were still closed, but when he opened them, he flipped you over. His beautiful brown eyes stared into your soul, bringing his hand down from all the way from your neck to your core, spreading your legs apart with his knees.
“Fuck,” he cursed. It wasn’t unusual for him to swear, but when he got off of you, you knew something was wrong.
“What?” You asked, sitting and bringing your legs together and up to your chest.
He groaned to himself and answered, “I don’t have a condom.”
Ok. It was fine. It was all good. Getting up, you grabbed the shirt closest to you, which happened to be his, and made your way to your sister’s bedroom. She had to have some, right?
Yoongi headed to the bathroom. You could hear cupboards opening and closing. Heading into her bedside table, you thanked your lucky stars that she had a box. Opening it, there was only one left. You’d definitely have to let her know.
With a hint of a smile on your face, you headed into the kitchen, grabbing a paper and writing that you two had used the last one. Oops.
“I found one!” You called, meeting him in the bathroom.
His head fell backwards, and he breathed deeply. He grabbed you quickly, lifting you up onto the bathroom counter. You helped him get his underwear down, and he slipped the condom on with ease. His hands went around your back, pulling you to him. You wrapped your legs around his waist, read to feel him inside you. It was a familiar feeling, him slipping inside you, but you eagerly clenched around him like it was the first time. His lips touched yours, brushing with every movement, every thrust. You grabbed one of his hands, bringing it towards your clit, wanting him to help you finish because you knew he was close.
It wasn’t a romantic sexual encounter, and you’d definitely had better moments together, but after almost not having a condom, you were frantic. You need each other now, even though you were both tired. It was already sometimes clumsy, but this was just making it worse and something you would be laughing at in the future.
He worked hard for you. It wasn’t always easy to get you off, but he was a persistent guy. He was also a very quiet man during sex. He didn’t say much, but he always looked at you with those eyes and those expressions of his. He’d occasionally tell you that it felt good, or ask if you were fine with what was happening, but he didn’t like to state the obvious. Tonight, the mixture of his thrusts and his rubbing was working, and you knew you couldn’t last much longer. His freshly showered scent filled your nostrils, and you couldn’t get enough of him. You could get off on his smell alone.
“You go,” he said, once he felt you start clenching harder around him. He urged you to cum first because he was going to easily finish seconds after. Your legs held him tighter to you from behind, hands clawing clumsily at his back. “Oh my oh my oh my,” you whispered, holding your breath and finally releasing.
When he finished too, you simply stared at each other, breathing hard. A small giggle slipped through your mouth at the situation, and he started to laugh as well. Together, with him still inside you, laughing at each other, you would have looked quite silly if anyone were to walk in.
When you came down off of your laughing high, you dropped your legs, and he stepped back. As he fixed himself, you went to go get your underwear from the ground beside the couch. You headed back to the bathroom, that he was quickly cleaning to make sure there was no evidence of what had happened. You started laughing to each other once again when you met gazes. Shaking your head with a smile, you pushed him out of the bathroom, so you could pee and clean yourself up.
Yoongi was waiting for you in the bed in the living room when you emerged. He was on his normal side of the bed, eyes already closed. Looking around to check that all the lights were off, you crawled in beside him, intertwining your legs together. You were still wearing his shirt, so he was shirtless, but you like him better than way anyway. He opened his eyes for a split second and pushed your hair back from your face. Turning around, Yoongi put his back to you.
You loved when he was tired like this. He was very happy. You starting drawing pictures on his back with your fingers, and if he’d been more awake, he would’ve guessed, but you heard his breathing even out within a minute of your drawing on his back.
Smiling to yourself, you turn your back to him too, letting your bums touch, re-tangling your legs. You didn’t mind sleeping without touching, but you knew Yoongi always slept better when you were touching somehow —even if it was just your backs together.
Sleep came easy that night. You didn’t know it, but when your sister came home, she found the note and rolled her eyes. She just couldn’t get enough of you two together.
It surely was the calm before the storm.
