ok, very sad mood today but I’ll give you my thoughts anyway because BF brings me joy 

first of all, WHAT just happened ?! i was not expecting it right the fuck now“ 

"I want you inside me. Slow like this. That's what I won’t tell you” : the amount of vulnerability in that line… unreal. He finally said it. And Remus knew. He knew Sirius was afraid of telling him something.

“It is too good. How far they’ve come. What a victory this is.” : I loved this part. It’s not just about the afterglow, it’s about how they grew. How they can finally do this, with trust, and communication, and it ends up being okay. I love that he celebrates that above all. 

I think Sirius enjoyed it. I think Remus did too. I think they both did. I’m so happy for them ! It was beautiful and tender and so very them. The balance between horniness, confidence, vulnerability, and emotional realness ? chef’s kiss. + you gave us premature ejaculation, thank you for your service.

also saw anon saying your wolfstar makes them crave love and connection, yep, that’s exactly it. 

finally got answers about Lily and the girls’ forbidden forest outings !! loved the feel and imagery of it, very autumnal spooky vibes. excited to see more about blood magic and how it’ll show up again. I also love a good gathering of the gang, great to see them all interact.

James, congrats on surviving another day. Sirius jumping into action for him? My prongsfoot heart is full. You know I was a very happy reader with this chapter. 

Wormy, though. This dude is enigmatic. The unspoken resentment that radiates off him.. I mean I would be sullen too if I was treated the same way Sirius treats Peter but I have trouble blaming him when we all know the end of the story. The fact that Peter will later be responsible for James’s death makes every “he’s my best friend too” so diabolical. (I will not think about it further or I’ll cry). Sirius finally trying to be less of a shithead because Peter helped save his prongsy boy though, a win is a win. 

And then, “We can’t be together and be safe at the same time” oof. You must wand to end us. They are so doomed, and I love them so much. I wanted Sirius to just drag him to the Potters’ and lock him there forever. Wouldn’t serve the plot, but god, the instinct. And this cliffhanger… what’s happening to Reggie ?! who has him ?!

Anyway, i appreciate you and your story so much, it deserves all the love ❤️

our boys had their first proper time! it was sappy, just like sirius wanted! there's actually a scene in the next remus pov chapter where remus is figuring out, mid-act, what Sirius wants, which I love so much and hope you do too. <3 he very much put his inspector hat on and got to business

premature ejaculation! remus lupin the one pump chump! i personally like it when sex scenes in fic feel a ~little~ realistic and omg there is simply no way that remus is an instant sex god. he exploded, and that's very real of him.

lily exploring blood magic is such a fun spin on her later sacrifice that i honestly wish i saw more of in fics. i never liked the canon explination that he love/blood just happened to save harry. like, put some respect on her name! she understood what she was doing to perform such a strong & lasting spell!

ohh the black brother angst of it all. they are very doomed & we're getting closer and closer to when reg canonically takes the mark and i am dafihsiuhsd
