Was at the grave of king Henry. Except his bones got lost at some point and now his grave is empty. The church is not an ordinary one. It was first built as a crypt to keep Henrys remains, then later turned into a castle-like church, and was led by only women (later only women of higher social standing like daughters of kings with lots of power and siblings who led armies) who then also ruled the city of Quedlinburg. A rare example of woman power here in Germany.
Also it was incredibly cold. So we kinda hopped from cake&tea to cake&tea. I don't think I've ever eaten that much cake in one day.
.... Worth it.
No new book today because the bookstorr I had my eyes on had it's closed day today. But tomorrow!
Quedlinburg night 1 is incredibly cold. It's about 13°C below 0.
Just woke up at 4 in the morning because of reasons (new bed, new surroundings, no cat) and had a breath of "fresh air" outside and holy shite I nearly froze my nose off.
I really hope they have no homeless people sleeping on the streets here. Didnt see any yesterday but who knows. Bit of dark humour but I suppose that problem took care of itself during the night IF they have any.
Tf when you get a fever and put ice on your noggin so you dont turn into a baked potatoe
"I will kill you" is such a bogus threat. Instead say "I will pour water on your socks".
It's too fucking cold i cant
HELLO, OCTOBER
