amber will forever and ever be my favorite character on house md she understood the women in stem mentality more than anyone else and i miss her

no but GENUINELY i think so many people misunderstand her and how she has a professional mentality to avoid getting taken advantage of in a profession that actively works against women!!! do we remember when she refused to let house completely separate the fellows by gender so he couldn't fire all the women at once. do we remember how she chose respect over love because respect lets her get ahead and love lets her get belittled. being kind and caring would give men in power an excuse to say she isn't fit for her career

they knew she'd be too powerful they knew she understood how to fight sexism too well she was too dangerous to be left alive (crying)

do not even get me STARTED on hallucination amber being exactly how amber is widely interpreted despite the person she actually is
