Beautiful Barcelona! Here we are arriving on a sunny afternoon! Seeing the city for the first time from our plane. Then being driven through the city with some awesome views to our hotel! In the evening we ventured out into the amazing night life and had a great talk with our taxi driver who took us to this amazing restaurant to try tapas!! So lovely! And then we got back to our hotel in a taxi! It has been a long journey with many forms and covid protocols and unsure decisions but what has made the journey so meaningful are the people who we have met who have been so wonderful. The British airways staff who printed our tickets and trusted us to complete some of the forms we were working on together so we could make our plane on time, the taxi driver who gave us such good advice and showed us some of Barcelona and guided us to an amazing dinner! The gentleman who took us from the airport to our hotel and pointed out some landmarks to us and struggled through his limited English to talk with us!! And the taxi driver who was so friendly and conversant with us as we headed back to our hotel tonight! Amazing day!
