“Not in the mood to celebrate?”

Boba barely glanced up as Leia Organa entered. “I have work to do.” His armor littered the cockpit, taking up both seats, the console and the floor. He sat cross-legged in the middle of the mess.

“Can it be fixed?”

Boba huffed a laugh. “It’s survived worse than a little ordinance.”

She shut the hatch behind her, muffling the voices in the navigation room. Once Fennec opened the second bottle of spotchka, the party wouldn’t be ending anytime soon. “Is there anything I can do to help? It seems like the least I can do.”

“Do you know anything about armor?”

“I know I usually have problems with men who wear it.” She knelt on the floor beside the paint kit. “Do you have pieces that need to be repainted?”

After a second of consideration he handed her a knee plate. He’d taken a tumble after the blast. Scraped both knee guards to hell, but better the guards than his knees. “That yellow, there. Make sure you don’t get it too close to the darts.”

“You got it.” She dipped a brush and started working. “I was skeptical,” she admitted. “But Luke was right. You’ve changed.”

“So have you.” Boba turned his helmet upside down in his lap and picked up a tool from the floor. “Victory not what you expected?”

“The fight never ends,” she acknowledged. “But it’s not victory I’m fighting for now. It’s peace.” They worked in silence for a few seconds before she spoke again. “I know you don’t believe me. Your friend certainly doesn’t.”

“Mando doesn’t trust the Republic any more than he trusts the Empire.” Boba reached for a cloth without noticing that she was reaching for the same thing. Their hands connected briefly and Leia quickly withdrew her hand.

“Sorry. I got paint on my hand.”

“I believe you,” he said, picking up the cloth and offering it to her. “For what it’s worth.”

She extended her hand, but instead of grasping the cloth she wrapped her fingers lightly over his. “I’ll take it.”

He drew back his arm, bringing the cloth in and she came with it. He quickly set his helmet aside, making space for her to sit in his lap. He took the freshly painted knee guard from her hand, yellow paint clinging to his fingers and then smudging on her cheek as he cupped her face and kissed her. 

He was a man who knew opportunity when he saw it. If she wasn’t going to let a few old grudges and new scars stand in the way then why should a little wet paint stop him?

Maybe he was in the mood to celebrate after all.

Geralt for the character meme pls

:D my boy!!! This is pretty game heavy so be warned for spoilers lol  First impression: Okay this is a male power fantasy but he do be kinda fun- oh my god i killed him after jumping 3 feet.   Impression now: Geralt on the surface represents this cultural idea of “I’ve been hurt too much and I wont decide who to help anymore” and thats literally just to not have people doubting his decisions. He is intrinsically someone who DEEPLY believes in humanity, in the right for all creatures to be alive, in kindness in the little actions (like leaving payment behind after quests for struggling clients), and the goodness of the world - his actions constantly portray this and he. is. so. good. Favorite moment: Absolutely the final scene for the tragic ending. Him alone? The monsters caging him in while he holds the necklace of his daughter that didnt believe in herself and died due to his bad parenting??? I watched this ending on youtube and it haunts me still. SUCH a terrible moment of wonderful story building. Second would be during the Skellige's Most Wanted quest where he looks back on all the kind things he’s done which in turn protect him - its such a glaring example of the above idea of him caring deeply about the goodness of the world as a whole, human or monster or in between. Probably wasn’t meant to be a big moment in the story but i was all //wow// Idea for a story: Ha outside of the 7 books, 3 games, and tv show? ..... YEAH I DO HAVE IDEAS!! I would LOVE more information on his childhood in the keep. He was one of what, 3 boys?, who survived his years mutagens and the only one to survive the additional ones. Who were his friends that he lost? How did he walk away from that still hanging onto such positive beliefs in humanity??? What was it like?? I am /desperate/ for geralts childhood and being raised by Vesemir. 

Unpopular opinion: Geralt isn’t some fool in court?? Like everyone wants to write some bumbling geralt who cant talk to anyone but he literally is CONSTANTLY contracted by nobility. He doesn’t hold his opinions back often but my god he can fucking talk and not make a fool out of himself. He’s not as good as Eskel before his injury but he’s not /bad/. Geralt has charm and social skills - just just doesnt care to hold back his opinion on the corruption of nobility.  Favorite relationship: Obviously him and Ciri. They are both SO good. so good. The scene where they both destory the mages room together? /fuck/  Favorite headcanon: Geralt being an artist. Learning to paint intricate copies of monsters he fights - Vesemir gets him to copy book illustrations that are getting old and faded during the winter. Once he’s retired he paints huge landscape paintings that are sold for thousand of crowns and no one knows who made them. It’s just “the white crow” as a signature because geralt is a sap and loves yenn.

Unpopular opinion: super super early on I thought they were gonna usurp everyone’s opinions and make Grogu a little girl instead, and like by episode two that obviously wasn’t the case, but I’m admittedly still sad about that sometimes LMFAO
