The Hudson Project: Music, Mud, and Madness
I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the first-ever Hudson Project last week, a three day 20,000 person music and arts festival located in Saugerties, New York. If you didn’t have a chance to make it out, take a peek at this unforgettable adventure of Day 1.

Hudson Music Project 2014
straight up fuck hudson project
i was there for sunday and was in there for an hour before the staff sent people offsite for severe weather warnings. the entire campground was flooded and now i'm dealing with getting a ticket refund.
but while they were sending people off, sam and i found this group of people in the woods and we all ducked under a thick canopy and saw the storm from outside the trees and it was cool and relatively dry but then cops came and were like get the fuck out and then we had to leave
ughhhhhhh
Things have shifted a bit.
Hello my fellow bass freaks-
I know I have been very silent recently. I've just returned from the Mudson Project and will be updating regularly from now on.
Additionally, I will be posting a recap of the festival soon. This will cover the music, which was incredible. Not so much the staff and camp grounds, which as everyone has said were blatantly unprepared and inconsiderate.
Look for us on an indie domain soon, as we blow this tumblr stand for bigger and better optimized things.
Keep it 100.

So the first two days of Hudson project were wonderful! I listened to great music, spent time with awesome friends, and had such a wonderful time with my loving boyfriend. I got a bunch of AMAZING new clothes and jewelry as well, I'll be posting pictures later in the day when I'm off work! Unfortunately there was a horrible storm the last day, to the point where I was actually really scared to be outside. The festival was cancelled because of it and we didn't get to see Bassnectar :( Every single car was also completely stuck in the mud and had to be towed out one by one. We didn't get to leave until 3 PM on Monday. But luckily, everyone is getting a refund for the last day of the festival. All in all, I had a great time until then :p Although I doubt I'll be returning to such a large festival like that again. Craving a transformational festival!
