Another quick project for under $20! A mug rack!
Used a spade drill bit to drill out recesses in a 1x2" length of wood. Wood glue in the recesses + screws in the back secure 5/8" dowels. Dowel end caps make sure mugs don’t slide off and furniture plugs hide the screws used to attach everything to the wall. A little stain and some wood conditioner, and all done!
(Note, I used 4 screws to attach the rack to the wall, while the WIP image only shows 2 screw holes. Also, not all my mugs fit on this, so you might want to use smaller end caps, ha ha.)
