This man is surely a victim of poverty and I am sure of this because he has the exact same face as every gay guy in like every big city and if he was from a slightly less poor upbrigingn he would surely understand that he does not have to submit to a life of crime and sadness and instead can just go be a bitchy gay guy in like toronto or omsoething  but actually he is much hotter as a criminal so i am thankful for his disadvantaged youth

In what can only be described as a mugshot wormhole, 19-year-old Robert Edward Burt of Pittsfield, Maine posed for his new mugshot wearing a t-shirt with a picture of his old mugshot.

How does such a meta moment occur you ask? Not spontaneously, if that’s what you’re thinking. Burt’s photo was no cosmic coincidence.

Here’s a timeline of how this magical mugshot moment happened:

On June 14, Burt was arrested on drunk driving charges. After pleading guilty to the charges, Burt was sentenced to 48 hours in the slammer.

In celebration of time-to-be-served, a coworker of Burt’s made a t-shirt featuring his June 14 mugshot that says “Burt Family Reunion 8/8-8/10/2014…sponsored by Bud Light and Somerset County Sheriff.”  Apparently, Burt has a family member(s) in jail. When Burt surrendered last week, let’s just say he was ready for his closeup.

The Smoking Gun reports that when Burt emerged from jail, he took to Facebook to brag about his epic mugshot saying that corrections officers made him hold the slate in a way “so you could see the shirt.” because “[t]hey laughed there asses off haha.” 

In another post he added,“Probably the best mug shot ever haha.” 

We kind of agree, although we encourage Burt to put his comedic talents to more legal uses.
