Mulan-esque AU where literally any gender/role/identity/non-identity/fake identity ‘hero’ tf2 characters are Li Shang, Mulan, Mushu and the other warriors and characters, and any antagonist as Chi-Fu, Shan Yu, the like. Maybe same love plot maybe not, dependin on your ship

I personally like the setup of having Saxton Hale, Pauling, or any merc but pyro and engie as Li Shang; Pauling, Scout, Spy, Medic, Pyro or Demo in Mulans role any way you’d like to spin it, and everyone else as pretty much anyone. TFC Heavy as Shan-Yu and the other tfc’s as his head lackies and any of the Mann brothers as Chi-Fu, or MULTIPLE CHI-FU’S OH LORD THEY’RE MULTIPLYING. Any combination of anything.
