     he was use to his father speaking to him like that, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt him. the pain in his heart from being spoken too as such, he tried letting it go. ryuken had said to him that he had no talent, but he wasn’t about to let that stop him from saving who he could from the hollows.

     he wasn’t an idiot, he knew there was something more going on inside that mind of his, and uryu wasn’t about to leave ichigo’s side until they talked it out. if there was anyone in this town that understood how the other felt, it was uryu. he too had lost his powers before and he felt like a burden because of it, feeling like no matter what he did he was useless to the others and he didn’t fit in their little circle anymore.

     but that wasn’t the case, he knew the other’s still saw him as their friend, and he wasn’t about to abandoned ichigo when he was in need of him most.

          “you’re a fool if you think that i’m going to believe that everything’s okay with you, you lost your soul reaper powers, and you think that’s okay? at least be upset because of it, don’t just wallow in your self pity, it’s unbecoming of you.” he wasn’t going to be easy on the other just because they were friends, in fact it was because of that reason that he was going to do whatever it took to get that fire in ichigo’s eyes back. “at least i’m thinking about it, unlike you who’s letting it fester and rot.”
