Enough Pt. 13
A/N: Sorry for being a filthy liar you guys! I said I was going to post two days ago and I didn’t. I just needed to edit a couple scenes I wasn’t 100% happy with and that set me back. But thanks for your patience and support! You all know I love/appreciate feedback, so don’t be shy! Any way, here is the update and happy reading!
“So have you answered him yet?” Jaehyun asked, fingers caressing your arm as you cuddled on your couch.
Once you woke up, you texted Jaehyun and told him you made it home okay and apologized for forgetting to message him. At the office, he was very attentive and apologized for being distant for the past few days. He admitted that he was worried because of the phone call you got from Namjoon and he thought that creating a little distance was going to make him feel a little better. Of course he realized it was a mistake and possibly the stupidest thing he could have ever done. He asked if he could come over to your place and stay the night. You agreed of course, happy that your boyfriend was going to spend some time with you and that the awkwardness was gone. After work you both came to your apartment, had dinner together and were now cuddling on the couch as you watched a movie. You were in a little bubble of bliss and nothing could ruin that. Not even the inevitable question of what answer you were going to give to Namjoon.
“I am going to tell him that I am not going to leave early.” You say with conviction in your voice.
He sat up straight and looked at you perplexed. He knew how much you loved your job and you were amazing at it, so saying no to Namjoon was a big deal.
“Are you serious?” He asked, wanting to make sure he heard you correctly.
“Yes. There are plenty of people in Seoul who can take care of the projects he has lined up. But if he really feels like he needs me to oversee these projects, then I can do them from here via teleconference. My workload will significantly reduce now that all the final details are done. I just don’t want to be away from you.” You explain, looking into Jaehyun’s eyes.
“I am very happy to hear that. I just hope you’re doing this because you really want to and not because of me.” He says, giving you a soft kiss.
“I really want to. And I also want to be with you.” You say, leaning in to kiss him on the lips.
He deepens the kiss as he hovers over you, making you lay down on the couch, slightly opening your legs to accommodate his frame.
His fingers are quick to lift your shirt, rough pads skimming the soft skin of your stomach. You arched into him, the contact sending electric shocks through your body. You wrap your legs around his hips bringing him closer to you, wanting to feel him pressed up against you. Your fingers work fast to unbutton his shirt, slipping it off his frame and skimming his skin with your fingertips. He helped you pull your shirt off and discarded it on the floor, lips attaching to your neck, lightly biting the soft skin. You moaned as Jaehyun stained your skin, hands reaching behind you to unclasp your bra, kneading your breasts and slowly grinding into you. Your hands are quick to reach for his jeans, undoing his button and tried to pull his pants down. He pulled away from you to remove both his jeans and boxers, helping you remove your skirt and panties too. You gulped at the sight of his hard length and you could not handle it anymore. You pushed him so he was sitting upright and you straddled his hips, teasing his length with your wet folds.
“Don’t tease baby.” Jaeyun groaned, gripping your hips tight in an attempt to regain control.
“Patience baby.” You whisper, enjoying the strain in his voice.
You decided to end his torture and aligned his length with your entrance. You sat down all the way and you both groaned at the feeling of your tight walls engulfing his length. You waited a few seconds to adjust before you started to undulate your hips, walls tightening around his length.
“Oh fuck.” Jaehyun moaned, throwing his head back against the couch.
You took advantage and bit his neck making him moan louder, which turned you on even more.
You sped the movement of your hips, breath catching in your throat at the pleasure that coursed through your body.
“Ah, yes.” You moaned, Jaehyun’s hands guiding your hips, increasing the friction against your clit. That sent electrical jolts through your body, a strong shiver shaking you. You grind your hips faster against Jaehyun’s, the angle hitting deep inside you and aided in the stimulation of your clit. Jaehyun popped a nipple into his mouth, sucking harshly as his other hand kneaded your other breast. The added sensations were all it took for you to reach your end. You moaned Jaehyuns name like a mantra, hips bucking wildly against his. The tightening of your walls was all it took for him to reach his end, a low moan leaving his lips as he filled you with his cum.
Your hips slowed to a stop, hands still clutching Jaehyun’s sticky body against yours. His breath slowly turned to normal and it tickled the slick skin of your neck. He attached his lips to yours in a slow and sensual kiss, a warm feeling melting in your chest and spreading to the rest of your body. Your brain felt hazy and in that moment a single word came into your mind: Chanyeol.
You pulled away from Jaehyun’s hips and wandering hands, receiving a confused look from his gorgeous face.
“You okay?” He asks concerned, hands planted on your hips.
“Yeah. I just feel super sticky. I am going to head to the shower.” You say, hating yourself for lying to him and for thinking about Chanyeol in your post-coitus bliss. “Care to join me?” You say, a mischievous glint in your eye.
He chuckled and nodded his head, completely unaware of the stuff going on in your brain. God were you an asshole.
“Yes babe, I’ll be right in.” He says as he watched you get us from his lap, his soft member falling out of your entrance and his cum trailing down your thighs. The sight alone was enough to turn him on.
“Okay, don’t take too long.” You say in a sing-song voice as you quickly make your way to your bathroom, not wanting to make a mess on the floor.
Jaehyun was wiping himself when he noticed your phone was blinking, indicating that you had messages. He didn’t think anything of it but at that moment your phone vibrated again, illuminating the screen with a notification. Curiosity got the best of him and he looked at your screen, chuckling when he saw a Snapchat notification from Mark. He asked Mark why he had made you get the app and the young boy told him it was easier to send you funny videos and memes through there. You and Mark had a brother/sister relationship and Jaehyun thought it was cute. His smile slowly disappeared when he saw that you had three text messages from Chanyeol.
Chanyeol: I really appreciate it
Was what the preview message said in your Notification Center. He would be lying if he said he wasn’t a little bothered at the fact that Chanyeol was messaging you, but the message wasn’t incriminating. He was probably just talking about the great wok you did with the press release of him and Ara for the opening gala. Besides, Jaehyun trusted you and he felt a little guilty for even looking at your phone screen. He knew you had nothing to hide. He shook the weird feeling away and made his way to the bathroom where you and your hot wet body were waiting for him.

You were typing away replying to emails when you were distracted by a soft knock on your door.
“Come in.” You mumble, not looking away from your computer screen.
“Hey.” The deep voice says as the person enters the office.
“Chanyeol?” You say confused, recognizing the voice right away.
“Sorry to barge in, I just wanted to stop by and say hi.” He says with a cheesy smile on his face.
You raise your eyebrow at him, a small chuckle leaving your lips.
“Well hi then.” You reply, making him shake his head.
“You’re so mean.” He whined playfully, sitting on the chair across from you.
“Yes please make yourself at home.” You say sarcastically, looking back to your screen to hit the send button for your last email.
“So, what brings you here?” You ask, finally looking at him.
“Well I was here meeting Wendy for some last minute details and arrangements for Ara’s travels.” He explains, leaning back in your chair.
“Hmm, and you decided to stop by?” You question, thinking how ridiculous that sounded.
“Yes, don’t make it weird.” He joked, leaning forward on your desk.
You eye him wearily and decide he probably was being sincere.
“So when do you go back to Korea?” You ask, deciding to be civil.
“Tomorrow morning.” He pouted, which made you chuckle.
“Well, safe travels then.” You said with a cheeky grin, making Chanyeol laugh.
“Really? Why are you being so cold?” He playfully whines, splaying his upper body on top of your desk.
“Okay, okay…” You relented. “I hope that your plane doesn’t crash.” You gave him a sarcastic smile, making him laugh and causing your desk to shake.
“You are so rude.” He mumbles, reaching out in front of you and poking your hand with his index finger.
“I’m joking. But I do wish you safe travels, that’s not a mean thing to say.” You mention, not pulling your hand away for whatever reason.
“I know. I don’t know, i was just expecting something else…” He trailed off, his whole hand splayed on top of yours.
The warmth of his hand was oddly comforting, but it also felt a little wrong.
“I’m not sure what else you were expecting, Chanyeol.” You say, nervously pulling your hand away from under his embrace.
He stared into your eyes, not breaking eye contact.
“Hey babe ready to go?” Jaehyun says as he enters your office, stopping abruptly once he sees who is sitting at your desk.
“I’m sorry, am I interrupting something?” Jaehyun asks, hoping Chanyeol’s presence is strictly business related.
“No, Mr. Park was just leaving.” You smile, giving Chanyeol a pointed look, indicating that he should leave.
“Yes, I was just leaving. Once again, thank you for our time and hard work team captain.” Chanyeol said, giving you a small smile before exiting your office.
You walk up to Jaehyun and wrap your arms around his waist, embracing him in a tight hug and enjoying his warmth. You look up at him and smile, enjoying the sight of his beautiful face.
“Ready?” You ask, giving him a small peck on the lips.
“Yeah, I’m ready.” He agrees, holding your hand and heading to the elevator.
Jaehyun feels a bit uneasy and he is not one hundred percent sure as to why. He knows that unfortunately Chanyeol has to be around because of work but that did not mean he was not weary of the man and the situation. He did not want to come off as insecure and jealous, he trusts you. It's Chanyeol he doesn’t trust and for some reason he feels that Chanyeol’s involvement in this project is more than just good exposure for him.
He doesn’t want to be that guy, but he is more than sure that Chanyeol is trying to get close to you. Jaehyun looks over at your face and smiles; he felt like a winner because you were next to him, holding his hand.
______________
“Thanks for cooking dinner babe, it was delicious.” Jaehyun complimented while he helped take the dishes to the sink.
“No problem babe. Anything for you.” You wink, smacking his butt as you walk back to the table to wipe it down.
He gasps in mock offense, claiming he wasn’t a piece of meat.
“I’ll wash the dishes babe.” He offered, being the gentleman he always is.
“Thanks babe, I’m going to wash up.” You say, excusing yourself and running into the shower. You were in desperate need for a hot shower to relax your muscles.
You unknowingly left your phone on the kitchen counter and you got a text message at that moment. Jaehyun looked over and saw that it was a message from Chanyeol. Furrowing his eyebrows he debated whether or not he should let you know about your message. He ignored it and went back to the task at hand, scrubbing the dishes with unnecessary force. He was trying really hard not to lose his temper, but the fact that Chanyeol was texting you yet again was starting to annoy him. It was almost nine in the evening and he doubted that there were any business related issues that needed your attention at this moment. Your phone vibrated two more times and Jaehyun felt like he was going to go crazy. Before he could do something irrational, he grabbed your phone and headed to your bedroom. He needed the device away from him so he could concentrate on not chucking it out the window.
“Oh, hey.” You say surprised as Jaehyun walks into your room with your phone in hand. You had just gotten out of the shower and you only had your towel wrapped around your body. Normally, that would turn Jaehyun on, but right now he couldn’t even focus on that.
“Here.” He says, dropping your phone on the bed. “It was vibrating a lot, so I decided to bring it to the room.” He explains, hoping his tone didn’t sound bothered. He did not want you to know he knew who was texting you.
“Oh. Okay, thanks.” You say with a smile before Jaehyun walked out of the bedroom and back to the kitchen to finish cleaning up.
Later that night, Jaehyun lay awake in bed not being able to fall asleep. He stared at your peaceful sleeping face, admiring how cute you look. He finally found his comfortable spot on his side, facing you and he closed his eyes, ready for sleep to take over. It seems like you forgot to put your phone on silent mode because a text notification is what made Jaehyun open up his eyes again. He could not believe someone was texting you this late, but it could be an emergency. Jaehyun carefully leans over you to grab your phone from your night stand. He knows your password so he types it in and checks your messages. He scrunches his nose when he sees it’s yet another text from Chanyeol.
Chanyeol: Have a good night. Sweet dreams ;)
‘What the fuck.’ Jaehyun mutters under his breath, now thoroughly annoyed at the fact that Chanyeol was sending you good night texts. Against his better judgement, he looks at your text chain from earlier when Chanyeol was blowing up your phone.
Chanyeol: Do you remember this night? That was fun!
Me: when we were on a double date with Suho and Mina. yeah I remember.
Chanyeol: I had a lot of fun that day. Did you?
Me: Yeah it was alright.
Chanyeol: :( why are you being so cold?
Chanyeol: Helloooooo????
Chanyeol: Fine, I get it. I won’t message you xp
Chanyeol: Have a good night. Sweet dreams ;)
Jaehyun was furious after reading the messages. How dare Chanyeol show up out of nowhere and think this is okay? He looks over to your sleeping form once again, eyeing you suspiciously. You didn’t seem interested in engaging conversation with Chanyeol, but you were also not putting a stop to his advances.
‘Stop it Jaehyun. You trust her.’ He thought, shaking his head and feeling bad for doubting you for even one second. Clearly the problem here was Chanyeol and Jaehuyn was going to make it clear to him that he needs to stay away from you.
______________
Much to Jaehyun’s dismay, he did not see Chanyeol at the office that day. He had some business to attend to all day and he was stuck in his office all day with conference call after conference call. He was upset because he was going to need to stay at the office late and he was looking forward to having dinner with you and cuddling. Your guys dynamic was finally where it used to be and he was happy. He knew he had been a bit distant for a while after you broke the news about Namjoon’s call. But he was thrown off because he had some big plans that had to be put on hold for now. He just needed some time to regroup and execute them another time. He was still bothered about the text messages from Chanyeol but he decided to forget about it and concentrate on his work. He trusted you completely so he knew he had nothing to worry about.
“Hey handsome.” You say as you knock on Jaehyun’s office door, observing his tired eyes. Poor guy has been working non-stop all day. He was barely able to get 15 minutes in for lunch and he had to basically scarf it down.
“Hey babe. I still have a lot more to do. You should probably head home and I’ll catch up later.” He said with a sigh, rubbing his eyes.
“Aww okay baby. Don’t overdo it, okay?” You say, giving Jaehyun a parting kiss.
You were sad to leave him behind because he looked so tired but you knew what he was working on was very important and he had to finish it before he was able to go home. You decided you were going to make him a nice meal for when he got home, that way he could have a full belly and be well-rested. You walked to the nearby market that was a short walking distance from work and bought some necessary ingredients and then took an Uber home. You were not about to use public transportation while carrying grocery bags. Once you got home, you started working right away. You made him some spicy kimchi stew and a few side dishes you knew were his favorite. You had sent him a text message to see if he knew when he would get home but he had not answered yet. You hoped you had enough time for a quick shower before he got home. You wanted to wear a very cute night gown to let him know he had options as to how he wanted the night to end. Wrapping your silk robe around your frame, you walk back to your kitchen and make sure the food is still warm and not overdone. You were startled by your doorbell ringing, knowing that Jaehyun had a key to your apartment and would never have to ring. You were confused as to who would visit you at this hour since it was close to ten pm. You cautiously make your way to your door and look through the peephole, even more confused with who is on the other side of the door.
“Chanyeol? What are you doing here?” You asked incredulously, not being able to think of a reason as to why he is at your home at this hour of the night. “I thought your flight left already?”
“I changed it for tomorrow. Can I come on?” He asked, looking around the hallway. You didn’t really want to invite him in, but you also did not want to stand in your doorway with flimsy clothing on for all your neighbors to see.
“Sure I guess.” You concede, moving out of the way and closing the door behind Chanyeol.
“Thanks. It smells good in here.” He said, sniffing the air.
“Chanyeol why are you here? These are not necessarily regular visiting hours.” You say, crossing your arms across your chest. Chanyeol tried not to look at your cleavage but it was hard since you looked great in that robe.
“Look, I know I have no right being here, but I am leaving and I just want to say that I am sorry for all the trouble I gave you.” He said, looking right at you.
“I think you already had this conversation with me Chanyeol. You can’t be here for too long.” You say, needing him to leave your apartment as soon as possible.
“I know. I just want to say it again and I hope you can forgive me for all the crap I did. I don’t want to interfere anymore in your life. But I just want you to know that if you ever want me back in your life, as friends! I would really like that.” He said, giving you a small smile that made you relax a little.
“Thanks Chanyeol. Look, I don’t hate you or anything. And I am genuinely happy that you are now doing what you love and I hope you keep being successful in it. I think friendship could be a possibility….. In the relative future.” You say with a giggle, making Chanyeol laugh.
“Fair enough.” He said, looking at his watch. “I better get going, I need to be on my way. I should get at least a few hours of sleep before I head to the airport.” He says, standing awkwardly in the middle of your living room.
“Have a safe trip.” You say, not knowing what else to say.
“Okay this is plenty awkward. I’m going to head out now. Is it okay if I get a hug?” He asked, awkwardly holding his arms out.
“Sure I guess.” You agree with an eye roll.
You go in for the hug and hold your breath, nervous for whatever reason. You were just saying bye to an acquaintance/ sort of friend and old lover. You were not doing anything wrong. Chanyeol wrapped his arms tightly around you, missing the feeling of your body in his embrace. He sniffed your hair, commiting the scent to memory. He wished he could have appreciated you when he had you and it was now too late for him. Hopefully not completely late.
“What’s going on here?” Jaehyun asks, making you and Chanyeol break away from each other. You did not hear him open the door.
“Jaehyun!” You say breathless, your heart was hammering in your chest and you felt like you got caught doing something wrong.
Jaehyun was silent as he looked between the two of you, not knowing what to make of the situation.
“I was just leaving man. I just came by to say goodbye. Nothing else.” Chanyeol said defensively, not expecting Jaehyun to show up. But that did explain your attire.
“Well then I guess you better go.” Jaehyun said cooly, flexing his fingers in an attempt to calm himself and not punch Chanyeol.
“Okay.” Chanyeol said with a parting glance at you and a cold stare to Jaehyun.
The room was uncomfortably silent, a heavy feeling settling over the room. Jaehyun wasn’t looking at you, his back facing you and you could see his shoulders moving up and down with every breath he was taking.
“Jaehyun.” You say softly, trying to get him to look at you.
He finally looked over after a few seconds that felt like an eternity.
You sucked in a gasp at the cold, hard look in his eyes; something he never had before. Not with you anyway.
“Care to explain?” He asks, voice low.
“I know it might look bad, but I swear it was nothing. He stopped by to say goodbye because he goes back to Korea tomorrow morning. Nothing else.” You explain, taking a tentative towards him.
He takes a deep breath and looks at you before speaking again.
“Do you still have feelings for him?” He asks.
“What?” You ask, not knowing where this was coming from.
“Do you or do you not have feelings for him?” Jaehyun asked again, getting agitated and his voice raising slightly.
You stared at him, wide-eyed and not knowing what to say. Of course you did not have any feelings for Chanyeol. So why the fuck could you not say that out loud?
Jaehyun scoffed and shook his head, not really believing what was happening right now.
“Jaehyun, I don’t have any feelings for him.” You explain, placing your hand on his arm.
“Then why did you hesitate to answer?” He questions, moving away from your touch.
“I was just taken by surprise! Nothing else.” You say, chest heaving with anxiety.
“Really? Is that why you’ve been messaging with him? Why he’s been stopping by your office? Why you’ve been kind of jumpy and dodgy?” He pressed, trying not to get agitated.
You were stunned to silence, not knowing he had been aware of the messages from Chanyeol. You knew that you’ve been a little distant because of the guilt you had felt because of these mixed feelings ever since Chanyeol has been bombarding you in your workplace.
“Right.” He says after your long pause of silence. Jaehyun let out a sigh and wiped his hands down his face. “I’m going to get my stuff.” Jaehyun says, going into your bedroom to get his belongings.
You stood there in silence as you heard Jaehyun packing his things, your heart felt like it was breaking and you did not know how to stop him. He seemed so upset and you do not know how this evening took a turn for the worse.
Jaehyun came out of your room holding a duffle filled with his clothes, stopping right in front of you before he left.
“If we are going to be together, I want you to be one hundred percent sure. No room for doubt. It looks like you might be confused right now, so I think it's better if we put an end to this.” He says, looking right into your eyes. You sucked in a breath, not expecting this to be happening right now. This relationship that you cherish so much, this person that you love, how could you be losing this? Jaehyun took your lack of answer as a silent agreement and headed for the door.
‘Say something! Stop him from leaving. Tell him you have no doubts!’ Your brain screamed. It seems like your mouth and feet were not receiving the signals, because you just stood there in silence as you watched the man you love walk out of your life.
“Oh, and one more thing.” Jaehyun says as he pauses in your door frame, looking back at your bewildered face. “You know that offer Namjoon gave you? I think it would be a good idea if you accept it.” He says, finally walking out of your home and closing the door behind him.
You stood in the middle of your living room for a few more minutes until your body finally caught up with your brain and with everything that just happened. You dropped to your knees and let out the sob that was stuck there since this night went to shit. An excruciating pain you had not felt before hit your chest and you crumpled inwards, hitting your chest repeatedly to ebb the pain away. Your screams and sobs were muffled by the rub beneath you, burying your face into it because you could not bear the pain in your chest. Your cries carried through your apartment, the emptiness in it bringing a new wave of cries, tears and sadness. You stood up and shaky legs and made your way to your bedroom, crumpling on your bed once you saw the absence of Jaehyun’s belongings. He was really gone. He did not leave anything behind. You lay your head on his pillow and inhale his scent that still lingered, the smell bringing a wave of fresh tears to your eyes and the pain in your chest intensified.
You could not sleep that night. You laid awake, blankly staring at the clock on your night stand. Every time you would drift off you jolted awake, thinking that what happened was all a bad dream. But once you realized it was all real, you broke down again. Your sobs echoing in your room and ricocheting from the emptiness in your heart. You glance at the clock and see that it is two am, which meant it was three pm in Korea. Namjoon did not leave the office until five, so you knew you could find him in his office. You cleared your throat and grabbed your phone to dial his number.
“Hey! I did not expect to hear from you at this hour. Isn’t it like two am over there?” Namjoon greets, happy to hear from you.
“Hey. I can’t sleep.” You pause, trying to hold your tears. “Um, I’m actually calling because I changed my mind. I’m not going to stay the full year in New York, I want to come back to Seoul and work on those projects you have for me.” You say, forcing a smile onto your face so you could fake sounding happy.
“Oh! Really? That’s great! What changed your mind?” He asks, curious as to why you want to come back but happy nonetheless.
“I just figured that there really is no reason to stay if everything I’m responsible for is done. Besides, my best friend is pregnant and I want to be there for her. And also because I miss you and I want to work on those projects you told me about.” Maybe faking your happiness won’t be so hard from here on out.
“That’s awesome! I’m so happy to hear that you’re coming back. When can you come back to Seoul so I can book your ticket.” He asks, browser already up on the airline’s website.
“Everything I need to do is done. Book me whatever flight is available for tomorrow.” You say, not seeing the point in dragging this out.
“Oh! So soon, okay. Give me a minute so I can see what is available.” Namjoon informs you. You can hear the fast clacking of the keys as he looked for a flight. “Okay. there is a flight at five pm. Does that work?” He asks.
“Yes, that’s fine.” You say, the reality of it all hitting you.
“Okay, I’ll email you the details.” He says before hanging up.
You sigh a shaky breath, the tears dry but the pain in your heart is still very much present. You get up from your bed and with shaky knees you make your way to your closet to start packing. You knew you were not going to be able to sleep so you might as well do something productive.
The sun was rising as you finished packing your belongings, having accumulated a few more things than what you arrived with. You were showered and packed, sitting at your kitchen table, cold cup of coffee in front of you. Your phone vibrated and you saw that it was Mina. You gulped and coughed before you answered, hoping your voice didn’t sound hoarse.
“Hey, I heard you were coming back to Seoul. What happened?” She asks. You were not aware that news traveled that fast.
“Mina…” You say, your voice breaking at the last letter of her naame.
“What? What's wrong? Are you crying?” She asks worried, not sure as to why you’re crying.
“Mina…” You say again, voice breaking into sobs.
She tried to placate you enough so she could understand what you were saying but it was no use. Your heart was broken and all you could do was sob into your phone, wishing this was all a nightmare.

He’s gone through all this pain, all this suffering to get over you. And you’re not actually dead. Something inside him knew, knew you weren’t gone, but he figured it was his subconcious trying to make him feel better. If you thought he was clingy and loving before, take that and multiply it by 5. He never, ever wants to lose you again.
UNDERFELL
SANS
First response is anger. It always is? He loved you, damn it, and when you passed away he was so heartbroken and lost, going out to Grillby’s every night, slacking off at work (getting fired from a few jobs even) and moping around with a sort of hopeless demeanor since you’d been gone. After the anger fades, he’s just so relieved that you’re back. Count on a few hours of a crying skeleton curled around you, unwilling to let go.
Enough Pt. 15
A/N: Hello everyone! I have the new update for Enough! I have been able to write parts here and there between the move and settling in (which mainly consisted of me staying up until 2 am to write). Anyway... I really hope that you guys enjoy the new update... things are moving to a different direction.... as always, your guy’s feedback is always appreciated and anticipated!
“If you have any questions please call me without hesitation okay? Like, seriously. Call me.” Mina instructs, leaving a list of emergency phone numbers and special feeding instructions on the kitchen table.
“Mina, I got it, relax. I have everything under control. You don’t need to worry about a thing, just enjoy yourself tonight.” You chuckle, not believing that your best friend could be more neurotic than what she was already.
“Babe, let’s go, we are going to be late for our reservation. Shorty’s got this, right?” Suho teases, knowing you hate having your height - or lack there of - pointed out.
“I’m not short, I’m fun-sized. And yes, I have it all under control.” You say, shoo-ing your best friend towards the front door so she could finally leave on a date with her eager husband.
“Okay, okay! We are leaving. But please, please, do not hesitate to call me.” She tosses over her shoulder as Suho dragged her out of their house.
You shake her head and make your way to the small sleeping figure in the bassinet that was in the middle of the living room. Little Minjun is sleeping soundly surrounded by a fluffy light grey blanket that you got him when he was born. He is three months old and you are absolutely in love with him. You took your role as auntie very seriously and you were prepared to spoil him rotten. Well, as much as you can spoil him considering who his father is. Suho was beyond happy that he has a son and is ready to give him the moon and the stars. Minjun yawned cutely and burrowed his face against his blanket, making your heart melt. You were never particularly interested in having children, but you loved Minjun more than anything in the world and it made you really evaluate your life.
It has been six months since the gala and all hopes of getting into contact with Jaehyun were pretty much hopeless. You tried time and time again to reach out, but you could never get yourself to press the call button or the send button. You called Johnny and Mark many times and tried to sneakily get information from them about how Jaehyun was doing or his whereabouts. Every time they got a little awkward, their answers are always a vague collection of ‘he’s good’ and ‘busy with work’. You could not blame them, they are close friends with him and you did not want to keep putting them in an awkward situation.
You decided that it was best to leave it as is, figure out what you wanted before you reach out. He was nothing but a perfect gentleman, the perfect boyfriend and overall a great human being who deserved the world. You know you still have feelings for him, but you have been so busy with work and spending all your free time with Minjun. You are pretty sure that Mina and Suho are sick of you being over at their house so often, but you could not care. Minjun was the only good thing in your life right now and you needed the distraction.
You were brought out of your stupor by the soft whines coming from Minjun, alerting you that he had woken up. You lift him before he begins to cry and you notice that it’s time for a bottle. You make sure that the temperature is perfect for him to drink and feed him his bottle, smiling at his fast breathing. You can’t help but stare at his big brown eyes, his soft gaze making you feel calm and at peace.
Once he was done you grab a small towel and place it on your shoulder so you could burp him, learning your lesson a long time ago about the importance of burping a baby right away. You had just started to burp him when the doorbell rang, confusing you greatly. Mina did not tell you if they were expecting something or someone, so you did not know what to expect. Walking to the front door you see in the security camera a familiar face covered by a beanie.
“Chanyeol?” You ask, not expecting to see him today.
“Oh! Hey, how are you?” He was also surprised to see you after six months, not expecting that you’d be at his best friends house.
“Good. come in.” You say, moving to the side so he could come inside, not wanting any cold air to hit Minjun.
“Is Suho not home?” He asks, noticing the lack of people in the apartment.
“No, he and Mina went out on a date, I’m babysitting.” You explain, moving to the living room to burp Minjun. He finally did and it made you and Chanyeol chuckle at the cute sound.
Chanyeol watched you as you wiped Minjun’s dribble off his face, a loving look gracing your face as you gently pushed the hair away from the baby’s face. He felt a strange pang in his chest at the sight before him, a strange sense of deja vu coming over him. He remembered the dreams he had of you and a baby, a small family having fun times together. He shakes the feeling away, swallowing away the lump in his throat. He had been so busy with work that he did not have the time to think about his feelings. There were some moments where he was finally calm and his mind would always drift to you. He missed the sound of your voice, the feel of your warm body against his and the natural scent of your skin. You looked healthier than the last time he saw you; even though it looked like you had lost some weight, your skin was glowing and your hair was shiny. You looked happy and he was very happy to see that.
“Can I hold him?” He asks, glad you hadn’t noticed his staring. He had been busy and the last time he saw Minjun he was a day old. He didn’t realize how fast time was passing and how big he had gotten. He didn’t want to miss any more milestones since Minjun was the first baby of any of his friends.
“Of course.” You smile, getting up to properly place Minjun’s head on Chanyeol’s arm.
You can’t help but stare at the sight of a giant of a man cooing to the baby in his arms.
You had never seen such a tender look on Chanyeol’s face and you would be lying if you said it didn’t make you feel some type of way. It was nice seeing him in this element, as an uncle and not a musician or a player.
“Do you want something to drink?” You ask, the need to exit the room suddenly unbearable.
“Yeah, some water would be great.” He says, tickling the baby’s belly.
“Okay.” You quickly shuffle to the kitchen, suddenly overwhelmed with everything.
You know that you have unresolved feelings for Jaehyun still, but you can't deny that right now you feel flustered in the presence of Chanyeol. Why do you have to be so complicated? So annoying? So stupid? You really wish someone could come and tell you what to do and how to feel. Or if feelings could come with an off switch, that would be ideal.
“Here you go.” You place the water on the table in front of Chanyeol, noticing the sleeping baby in his arms. “Oh, Minjun fell asleep?”
“Yeah, I was rocking him and he fell asleep almost right away.” He coons, brushing the soft hair tenderly.
“Here, I’ll place him in the bassinet.” You say, grabbing the baby from Chanyeol’s arm.
You make eye contact and have to look away quickly, the intensity of the stare a little too much for you. Making sure that Minjun is properly covered by his blanket, you walk back to sit on the couch across from Chanyeol, needing some space.
“I guess I better get going, I’ll stop by tomorrow to see Suho and Mina. I really only came to see my nephew.” He gets up from the couch and puts the cup in the sink.
“Okay, well have a good night.” You awkwardly walk with him to the door, standing back so you don’t have to be so close by.
“It was nice seeing you tonight, it had been a while.” Chanyeol awkwardly stands by the door, hovering and not leaving.
“Yeah, you too.” You did not know what else to say and quite honestly it was making you a little nervous that he was still standing there.
“Okay, good night.” He chuckles awkwardly.
“Night.” You say softly, giving him a small smile.
Chanyeol hesitates for a minute and goes in for a hug, surprising you completely. You stand there awkwardly for a couple of seconds before you finally put your arms around him. He holds you closer to him, enjoying the feeling of your body against him. Before he does anything he might regret, he lets go of you and bids you good night once again.
‘What the hell was that?’ You think as you close the door behind him, more confused than before.
You won’t deny that your stomach flipped at having him in such close proximity. But it was wrong to feel that way because you were not in a position to be toying with any unnecessary feelings.
______________
“Good morning noona.” Jungkook greets as he enters the elevator, hot coffee in hand and hair as fluffy as it can get.
“Good morning Kookie.” You greet back, stifling a yawn.
“Long night?” He asks, noticing your lack of energy.
“Yeah, I was babysitting my nephew last night and it ended late.” You explain, trying to stifle another yawn but failing, making Jungkook laugh.
“Maybe you need another coffee.” He offers, willing to get you another cup.
“Yeah, maybe.” You agree, making your way to your office. You part ways from Jungkook and enter your office, stopping in your tracks at the sight in front of you.
There was a huge bouquet of roses on your desk that looked to be extremely expensive. There was a note sticking out of the top and you opened it, not knowing who would send you such a lavish gift.
Beautiful flowers for a beautiful flower. It was nice seeing you last night, I would really like to see you again.
-Chanyeol
You could not believe that Chanyeol sent you such a nice gift out of nowhere, you didn’t even know what to think of it.
Your phone rang and you answered it without looking at your caller ID, not being able to take your eyes away from the flowers.
“Hello?” You say, absentmindedly touching the petals.
“Hey there. Did you get my gift?” Chanyeol asks, a hint of amusement in his voice.
“Hey! Yeah I did indeed. What’s this about?” You ask, not knowing where this was coming from.
“I just wanted to send you something pretty. And it was really nice seeing you last night, I want to see if you would like to go out to dinner this Friday night.” He offers, hoping you will not reject him,
“Oh.” You say surprised, “Um, yeah that would be great.” You agree, thinking it wouldn’t be a bad idea.
“Great! I’ll pick you up at seven, sounds good?” He asks, not being able to hide the excitement from his voice. He could not believe you agreed so easily to go out with him but he was not going to question it.
__________________________
“So let me get this straight.” Mina says, folding Minjun’s laundry, giving you the evil side eye. “He screwed you over many times, treated you like crap and now you are agreeing to go out with him?” She questions, not understanding the logic of it all.
“Okay, so first of all, he apologized for everything he did. Second of all, it’s not like I am going to start dating him, I am just going out to dinner with him.” You defend, rocking Minjun to sleep as Mina kept tidying up the nursery.
“Okay, if you say so. Look, Chanyeol is my friend too even though he is more Suho’s friend. But I don’t want you to get hurt or get your hopes up; he is in the music industry now and I’m sure his player rep is still intact. I could be wrong though, I just want you to be careful and proceed with caution.” She sighs, finally putting the last bit of baby toys away and sitting down across from you.
“Besides, are you still completely over Jaehyun?” She asks, looking right into your eyes.
You hum at her question, not wanting to answer too quickly. You know some feelings were still there, but you did not want to admit that out loud.
“I am, for the most part. I think I need closure, but I have nothing but good memories of him. I want what's best for him and I don’t think that was me.” You explain, laying Minjun in his crib so he could sleep more comfortably.
“Okay, you have got to stop the self-deprecating crap. He was lucky to have you and you were lucky to have him. Hell, I never met the guy but in the time that you were together, you were the happiest I had ever seen you in any relationship, not just the whole Chanyeol fisco.” Mina points out. You hated how right she was. You really were happy with Jaehyun, the happiest you had ever been in a relationship and losing that was the worst thing that has ever happened to you. But what was the point in dwelling on that? You feared that too much time had passed and getting in contact with him now would be too painful. Besides, you did not want to hurt him more than what you already had because of your stupid fickle heart. It seems like you really love misery, letting yourself lose the most precious thing in your life. It’s true that you did not have in mind dating Chanyeol, he wanted to be friends as he made it clear. So indulging in dinner with him was not a big deal.
“You’re right. But that’s over now and Chanyeol and I are just friends, nothing more.” You say with finality, letting Mina know that you were done with this conversation.
“Okay, fine. But if he hurts you again I will literally cut his balls off.” She threatens, making you laugh. You cover your mouth with your hands and look at the crib where Minju was sleeping, hoping you didn’t wake him up.
“Okay let’s go drink. I need something after this conversation.” Mina ushered you out of the nursery, you rolled your eyes and her excuse to drink alcohol but you couldn’t deny that you needed a drink too.

“Thanks for joining me tonight. You look amazing.” Chanyeol comments, taking in your simple black dress. It was elegant, sophisticated and sexy without being too revealing. You wanted to look presentable tonight but not too sexy because you did not want him to get the wrong impression. Tonight you were having dinner as friends and nothing else, you would make sure of it.
“Of course. Thanks for taking me out, it’s a nice change of pace. You look quite dapper yourself.” You state, looking at the expensive dark blue suit Chanyeol was wearing.
“Thanks, I actually came straight from the studio like this, I did not have time to change before it was time to pick you up. I’m glad I don’t look as disheveled as I thought.” He smiles, cute dimples on full display.
‘Jaehyun also has dimples’ You thought without realizing. ‘Stop it, now is not the time to go down memory lane.’ You chastise yourself for thinking about Jaehyun right now.
“Oh, well I hope you were not too much in a hurry, we could have rescheduled if tonight didn't work.” You knew all too well how work can sometimes go on longer than expected.
“Oh no, it’s totally fine! It’s just that I met with some executives from another label. They want me to collaborate with them on a new song since they are about to debut a new female soloist. And given my track record with the success of rookie artists, well they wanted to work with me.” He explains simply, which was very impressive. It was nice to see Chanyeol doing what he loved. He has completely changed from the first time you met him until now, which was good. Now he has the job of his dreams and he is excelling at it, which is wonderful.
“That’s amazing! I’m sure you are going to do great, as always.” You compliment, truly happy for his success.
The rest of the night you spend it catching up on your job and what you had been up to post-opening gala. Thankfully, Chanyeol did not ask you why you had been crying that night, which you were grateful for because you didn’t really want to talk to him about your failed relationship. Unbeknownst to you, Chanyeol was actually dying to ask you about that night and the reason that you had been crying. He sort of had an idea, but he wanted to be sure. However, this is the first time in forever that you had an actual conversation and he did not want to ruin that. He also wanted to know about your relationship with that Jaehyun guy, but he was pretty certain that you had broken up because otherwise, he doubts you would have agreed to go out with him, even as friends. Besides, you had moved back to Seoul and he doesnt think Jaehyun would move too. Long distance was hard but doable, but he doubts that’s the case here. Even though he really wants to know the answers to his questions, he keeps quiet, not wanting to ruin the night.
After dinner, Chaneyol drives you back to your apartment. You were listening to the radio in comfortable silence, enjoying the cool evening air coming through the open windows. It was summertime and the wind coming in felt great against your skin. Chanyeol walks you to your apartment door, wanting to make sure that you made it in okay.
“Thanks for tonight, I had a great time.” You smile, pausing in front of your apartment door.
“Of course, me too. Thank you for accepting and I hope we can do it again soon.” He says with a smile.
You give him a small hug goodbye and enter your apartment, ready to get those awful heels off your feet. You were really surprised at how well tonight went, happy that you could eradicate the bad memories you have of Chanyeol and change them for good ones.
_______________
The next couple of days after your dinner with Chanyeol went by with a lot of communication from his part. Even though he was busy with work he made sure to send you messages to see how you were doing and how your day was going. It was sweet, to say the least but you did not know where the sudden attention came from.
Today you were in a conference call with some partners from the Japanese branch when you heard a soft knock on your door. You glanced to see who it was and you furrowed your eyebrows when you saw Jungkook enter with a big box. You were basically done with your meeting so you bid farewell to the Japan team and hung up the phone.
“What is this?” You ask, inspecting the box he placed on your desk. It was from a fancy chocolate place and it was beautifully wrapped.
“It was dropped off at reception a few minutes ago, it is addressed to you. Here is a note.” Jungkook gives you a small white envelope with your name written on it in neat calligraphy.
“Noona, do you have a boyfriend?” He teases, wagging his eyebrows suggestively.
“No I don’t Kookie, I’m not sure who they are from.” You say, eyeing the box.
“Maybe I should try some to make sure they’re not poisoned.” He proposed cheekily, making you laugh and shoo him out of your office.
You open the envelope and read the note.
Something sweet for the sweetest girl- xo Chanyeol
It was so sweet of him to send you something so nice and expensive, although you are not one hundred percent sure what his intentions were.
You send him a quick text thanking him for the sweet gesture.
You eat a few pieces of delicious chocolate and get back to work, knowing you have an insane amount of emails to answer and a few spreadsheets to update.
You try not to keep looking at your phone to see if Chanyeol has answered your message. It was still unread and you decided to stop worrying about it.
You were finally done with your workload, sighing happily as you get up and stretch your back. You were probably going to treat yourself tonight to some chinese take out and a whole bottle of wine. Your body was aching all over and the last thing you wanted to do when you got home was cook. You look at your phone again and see that you still had no messages from Chanyeol. With a shrug, you log off your computer and start to gather your belongings. You are halfway down the elevator when your phone starts to ring, grabbing it you see that it was Chanyeol calling.
“Hello?” You say, unsure as to why he is calling you.
“Hey! Sorry I did not answer your message earlier, I was swamped at the studio all day. I hope you liked the chocolates.” He explains, making you smile at his hurried tone.
“Yeah I did, thank you for that. It was very sweet.” You say, getting off the elevator in the main lobby.
“Not a problem. Are you off work?” He asks, hoping that he caught you on time.
“Yeah just got off, I’m leaving right now.” You wave at Jungkook at the reception desk as you make your way to the front door.
“Great, do you want to get some dinner together? My treat!” He offers with a cute sing-song voice. How could you say no to free food?
“Yeah, where do you want to go?” You ask, hoping it wouldn’t be too far.
“There’s a good chinese place near your work, want to meet there? I am almost there.” He says. You are glad he offers Chinese because that’s what you had been craving.
“Perfect, it’s like a block away, I’ll meet you there.” You say before hanging up and walking the short distance to the restaurant.
You get there before Chanyeol and you get a table, drinking some water as you look through the menu.
“Hey, I’m glad you made it.” He greets as he sits in front of you, taking off his jacket and hanging it on the chair behind him. “Have you been waiting long?” He asks, looking over his own menu.
“Not at all, I just got here.” You tell him, putting your menu down when the waitress comes to take your order.
You both order and smile awkwardly to each other as you sit there.
“Okay why are we being so awkward?” He laughs, shaking the awkwardness away from his mind. He really wanted to be on his A-game tonight.
“I’m sorry I guess it’s just that i’m not used to it. Us, going out to dinner this often.” You say. Even though you had gone out last weekend, it was weird seeing him again and being civil with him.
“Yeah, I guess that’s kind of on me.” Chanyeol scratches his head at your comment, feeling guilty for treating you as badly as he did.
“Eh, it’s in the past. At least we are friends now.” You smile, amazing him with the fact that you are willing to forget about the past.
“I’m glad.” Chanyeol says, staring into your eyes intensely.
Your waitress arrives with your food and you are glad about the distraction, Chanyeol’s intense eye contact being too much. You don’t know why it was making you get butterflies in your stomach.
You ate and made comfortable small talk for the rest of dinner. You were surprised at how much he made you laugh with funny stories about all the fails he has had with some artists that don’t really have a good ear for music and have tried to redo the songs Chanyeol has made for them.
After dinner, which Chanyeol paid much to your protest, he offered to drive you home.
You accepted because you were not in the mood to take the subway after eating so much Chinese food and it was getting late after all.
You arrived at your apartment and you invited him for some tea, which he agreed to. You were a little nervous about having him come over, but you talked yourself out of the weird feeling. You were single after all, so having a male friend over was not a big deal at all.
“Sorry for the mess, I was not expecting company.” You say embarrassed, a few pieces of mail scattered on your kitchen counter and your breakfast dishes still in the sink.
“Don’t even worry about it. My place is not exactly tidy right now.” He shakes his head with a laugh, knowing full well his place is an actual mess. He really needs to call the cleaning service.
“Bachelor pad.” You tut playfully, putting the kettle on the stove.
Chanyeol laughs at the comment, it’s very true after all.
“I try to keep it clean but I have been so busy this week that I have barely had the time or energy to clean up.” He explains, accepting the tea from you.
“Well if you’re tired, don’t feel pressured to stay too long, I totally understand.” You say, not wanting him to drive tired.
“It’s fine, I’ll drink this and leave.” He stifles a yawn and drinks his tea, hoping he would keep the courage he needs for what he is going to do.
“So, I want to talk to you about something.” Chanyeol says, putting his mug on your coffee table.
His words make you hold your breath, making you nervous at his serious tone.
“What’s up?” You try to sound calm even though your were far from it.
“I know we have a weird past and sort of a weird present. I’m glad you’re willing to have me in your life as a friend, But if I’m being honest, I have been coming to terms for a while now with my feelings and I’ve realized that I don’t want to be just friends. I have feelings for you and I’d love it if you gave us a chance.” He explains, making your head spin,
You were quiet for a few seconds, trying to process what he was saying.
“Wait, are you asking me out? Like, to date?” You want to clarify, not wanting to misunderstand his words.
“Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. Like, you know, boyfriend-girlfriend thing.” He felt silly saying the labels because it seemed so high school, but it’s what he wanted.
You stare at him, still not believing what he was saying. Is this something you really wanted? Did you really want to give Chanyeol a second chance? Did you even like him that way? Were you completely over Jaehyun? You were still a little unsure but you could not deny the chemistry you two had.
Chanyeol was getting more nervous the longer your silence lasted. He hoped he did not ruin the friendship you had begun by asking you out already. Maybe he should have waited longer to ask you out, but he did not want to waste any time.
“Okay, I’ll date you.” You say with a smile, Chanyeol whipping his head to look over at you.
“Really? You mean it?” He asks excitedly.
“Yes.” You give him a more reassuring smile.
He got up from the sofa across from you and tackled you on the couch with a crushing hug, making you laugh at his child-like behavior.
“Thank you! I promise you won’t regret it!” He kisses your cheek, then your other cheek and finally plants a kiss on your lips.
You were shocked to feel his lips on yours so soon. You close your eyes and kiss him back, enjoying the moment. The moment you feel his large hands grasp your hips, you pull away fast, chest heaving because of the kiss.
“Sorry, I got a bit carried away.” He apologized with a sheepish smile, cheeks tinged a beautiful pink.
“I do have a condition though.” You say, seeing the need for some ground rules.
“Anything.” He agrees, just happy to finally have you by his side,
“I want us to take things slow. Even though we have history together, I want us to take it slow and get to know each other better. I think the first time did not work out because it was mainly all physical, not a real connection. So I think we should wait a few months before we get too… intimate.” You explain, feeling awkward mentioning sex to him for some reason.
Chanyeol could not help but feel a little discouraged at the fact you wanted to take things slow, but he knew he could work with it. He was excited to be re-acquainted with you, all of you, but he was happy to have you in his life, no matter what terms.
“That’s fine. I want you to see how serious I am about you. About us.” He smiles, happy at the hint of a smile gracing your face.
He gives you a small peck on the lips before getting up and gathering his coat.
“Well I better get going, I need to be up early tomorrow.” He says, not wanting to leave yet.
“Okay, drive carefully.” You walk him to the door and giving him a hug goodbye,
Chanyeol leaves with a wave of his hand and a whispered good night. You close the door once you see him enter the elevator. You can’t believe what just happened, the fact that Chanyeol asked you out and you agreed. It should worry you that you didn't feel sparks when Chanyeol kissed you. It was enjoyable and pleasant, but there was not that connection you felt with… someone else.
You have made your mind, however. Jaehyun was most likely already over you and with someone who actually deserved him and is good to him. You had made your decision and you were going to stick to it. You had to.

Enough Pt. 1
There is always a moment in your life when you realize you have self destructive tendencies. The fact that you have been blinded by your own foolishness making you angry. That's the way you felt when you realized that the person you were giving your heart, soul and body to did not reciprocate the feeling. His name is Chanyeol. Could you really be angry at him? You were the one being walked all over. You were the one who allowed it. But enough was enough.
A/N: Hey guys so idk why I was inspired to write this but here it goes. This is going to be a series, not sure how many parts. Its going to be multi-fandom/multi-group? Definitely EXO and NCT127.
WARNINGS: 18+, Smut, unprotected sex.
You really hated how cliché it seemed at times. You didn't want to go out with your friends that night, but your friends kept insisting; saying that some cute guys they befriended in college were going to be there and you just HAD to meet them. It made your eyes roll, really. You didn't feel like you HAD to meet anyone, but your friends had been putting up with your stressed out crap lately, so who were you to refuse.
"Fine." You said, looking at your friend Mina, in the eye. "But I'm not going to have a good time and I'm going to complain the whole time."
Mina belted out a loud laugh at your comment, rolling her eyes at your ridiculousness. “Yeah yeah, whatever you say. You know you’re going to have a great time.”
“I’m serious Mina! I’m going to be miserable the whole time.” You whined in a way that seemed way too cute to your friend.
9PM rolled around much faster than you were hoping for. You were waiting for Mina to pick you up and so you took advantage of the time to give yourself a once-over in the mirror. You were wearing a simple outfit; black skinny jeans that fit your curves perfectly, a black satin tank top with a low neckline, black booties and your black faux leather jacket. Your makeup was simple and your hair was in loose waves. Even though you were not excited about going out to a club, you still wanted to look presentable.
Your phone going off notified you that Mina was waiting for you outside your apartment building. Trudging out to her car, you rolled your eyes as you saw her beaming face as you approached her car.
“Don’t look so freaking smug. I swear I’ll punch you in the face.” You said mildly annoyed but also amused seeing her chirpy attitude.
“You are going to have so much fun and you’re going to thank me for it.” She smiled as she put her car to drive and sped off.
You almost rolled your eyes as you pulled up at a club. As soon as you parked you could feel the loud bass shake the car.
“Now before you say anything, I know a club isn’t your speed...BUT please give it a chance. My college friend is in a band with some of his friends and they play here some nights.” She said with big puppy eyes.
She knew that you had a fluffy heart and wouldn’t mind supporting a friend. Walking into the club the loud music blared in your ears and made your heart hammer excitedly. Mina waved at some friends and you maneuvered your way through the club.
“Looks like they’re on!” Mina shouted over the loud music and pointed at the stage where a band was playing.
“They’re really good!” You shouted over the music. Your eyes roamed around the faces of the band members and you were instantly caught off guard when you made eye contact with the cute drummer. His bright red hair attracting the strobe light beautifully. He caught you staring and sent you a small smile and a wink. You looked away, feeling your face heat up. You joined Mina and a group of people sitting at a table near the stage. Drinks were flowing and you were actually enjoying the music, the atmosphere and the enthusiastic chatter between the people there.
After an hour, the band ended their set and they came down to the table where you guys were situated.
“Hey guys thanks for coming!” The main singer, who you found out his name is Suho, said as he sat at your table along with the group.
Introductions were made and small talk was made about how everyone knew each other. You kept glancing over at the drummer and you noticed out of the corner of your eye that he was making his way over to you. You took a deep breath and tried not to let his sexy outfit and make up intimidate you. Normally, you were not one to like guys wearing make up, but it was extremely sexy on him.
“Hey, my name is Chanyeol, how’s it going?” The handsome tall drummer said as he sat down on the chair next to you.
“I really enjoyed the show, you guys were great up there.” You complimented, feeling slightly flustered.
“Thanks, I appreciate that. So, who are you here with?” He asked as he eyed you up and down.
Taking a nervous gulp, you breathe in steadily through your nose before you answer him. “I’m here with my friend MIna, I guess she knows Suho from her college days.” You shrug, taking a sip of your drink.
“Ah I see... Why do I get the feeling that this isn’t really your scene?” He asks, eyebrow quirked as he crosses his arms and leans back on the chair. You try not to stare at the bulging muscles of his biceps that are visible through his tank top.
“Well, because it’s not,” You chuckled halfheartedly, “but I know I’ve been a real pain in the ass lately. I needed to let out some steam and Mina decided that this is what I needed.”
Chanyeol chuckled lightly and nodded in understanding. “Well let’s thank Mina for dragging you out here. So, tell me sweetheart, what has you so stressed?”
“Work, impossible boss and annoying coworkers. Save for Mina, of course.”
Chanyeol belts out a laugh at that. “Well good to know that the person who dragged you out isn’t annoying. Why don’t we hit the dance floor, so you can let out some steam.”
You were a bit hesitant but he was looking at you with a panty-dropping smirk and he looked so good in the club’s lighting, how could you say no?
You took his hand and you two walked out to the dance floor. The bass was thrumming through your body and you tried to breathe normally as he placed his hands on your hips and you began swaying to the music. The tune was very catchy and you got lost in the beat. You spin around and grind up against him moving your hips to the beat of the music. His hands wondered from your hips to your side and it was making you feel things that you had not felt in a long time. The feeling was starting to get a little overwhelming and suffocating that as soon as the song was over, you detached yourself from Chanyeol.
“You okay?” He asked, eyes dark and hoping you couldn’t see the issue in his pants with the dark lighting of the club.
“Yeah, yeah for sure. I just, um, I need something to drink.” You let out, a little desperate for some space between the two of you. Before he could say anything else, you turned around and walked to the bar. You got some water so you could clear your head and your hormones.
“YOU!” Mina screeched as she smacked your arm, almost making you drop your water.
“What? What? What?” You asked startled, rubbing your arm where she hit you.
“I saw you dancing with Chanyeol, looking all kinds of cozy!” She wiggled her eyebrows.
“We were just dancing.” You roll your eyes.
“Sure, sure. That was basically sex on the dance floor. But look, babe, so I was catching up with Suho and I am going back to my apartment with him.” She said with an excited but apologetic look on her face.
“Wow, I guess you guys really want to reconnect, huh?” You teased, seeing her cheeks flush pink.
“We sort of had a casual thing in college but we really hit it off and we want to see where it goes...”
“Well who am I to come in between two love birds? I’ll take a cab.”
“You sure?”
“Yes!” You reassured. “Just be safe and be careful.”
“Yes mom.” Mina teased with an eye roll. “Thank you though and sorry for abandoning you.” She said sheepishly.
“It’s fine! Now go, your boy-toy is waiting for you.” You shrugged your head over to the door of the club where Suho was waiting for her.
She gave you a parting kiss on the cheek as she excitedly scurried over to Suho and they walked out. You sighed, getting your belongings together and taking your phone out to get an Uber.
“Hey, looks like we were both ditched by our friends.” Chanyeol interrupted your search for the Uber app as he sat down next to you.
“I know, I’m gonna head out now.” You said as you finally opened the Uber app.
“Oh yeah? Well I was going to leave too. Why don’t I give you a ride?” Chanyeol offered, looking at you expectantly.
“How do I know you’re not a serial killer?” You joked, making Chanyeol belt out a laugh.
“Suho can vouch for me. We can tell him and your friend that I’m giving you a ride.” He offered, trying to ease you.
“No it’s fine. I’ll take that ride actually.” You smiled as you stood up and followed him to his car.
You gave him directions to your house and tried not to look uncomfortable in the sleek leather of his car. You guys had some small talk as he made his way to your apartment. Chanyeol parked in front of your apartment building and cut the engine, looking at you with a small smile.
“Well we are here.” He said, getting out of the car and making his way around to open the door for you. How sweet.
“Thanks, I had a great time. Thank you for the ride.” You said as you got out of the car.
“No problem, it was my pleasure.” He said with a smile as he closed the car door behind you. You gave him a hug goodnight and couldn’t help the way his strong frame felt pressed against your smaller frame. His arms slowly left you and you acted on pure instinct when you closed the distance between your faces and pressed your lips to his. He stiffened for a split second but then he went in with enthusiasm. His arms snaked around your waist and pulled you closer to him. His tongue prodded at your bottom lip and you parted your soft lips to give him entrance. You balled your fists into his shirt and the kiss got more intense.
“Why..” You panted as you broke away. “Why don’t we go up to my apartment?” You ask breathlessly.
“Lead the way.” Chanyeol followed you to your apartment, eager to get to know every part of you.
You both stumbled into your apartment, kissing fervently and peeling layers of clothing off as you blindly make your way to your room. He sat on your bed, dragging you down on him and having you straddle his hips. You slowly grind on him, his hardness hitting your sweet spot deliciously. You moaned lowly as you felt his long fingers unclasp your bra and throwing it to the side.
“God you’re beautiful.” Chanyeol whispered as he admired your breasts, holding each globe in his hand and squeezing gently.
Not being able to handle the pressure between your legs, you got up from his lap and started to remove the last remaining articles of clothing. He follows suit and removes his pants and boxers in one go, his hard cock laying on his stomach. Your mouth watered at the sight of the large vein that ran under his shaft. You straddle him and tease his length with your slit, coating it with your slick juices. You both moan at the delicious sensation, your mind fogging up completely, the pure pleasure taking over your body.
"Alright princess, that's enough teasing for tonight." Chanyeol pants breathlessly. He grabs your hips and lifts you off his lap just enough to align his hardness to your entrance. The head of his cock teases your entrance before he slowly pulls you down onto his length. Your body shivers at the feeling of his thick cock stretching out your tight walls, making you moan and Chanyeol groans at the feeling of your velvety walls constricting his cock.
"God, you're so tight." Chanyeol groans, burying his head into your neck and inhaling deeply as your scent invades his senses. You're moving your hips up and down his length, hair bouncing prettily behind you. Your breasts bounce as well as Chayeol guides your hips up and down his length, eyes never leaving the beautiful sight. His eyes traveled to your face and his gut twisted. Your eyes were scrunched closed in pleasure, small pants leaving your plush parted lips. Your cheeks had a beautiful pink blush covering them, making you look glowing and his eyes couldn't move away from your face.
"Faster, please go faster." You plead. You were almost there and you just needed a little bit more so you could come undone.
Chanyeol flipped you both so you were on your back and he was on top of you, reconnecting to you so fast you didn't even feel him slip out. He started his pace back up again and he was rutting into you. You cried out in pure ecstasy, tears forming on the corners of your eyes. The way his hips grinded into your was putting the necessary pressure on your clit for you to feel the pool of pleasure bubble up in your lower half. One last hard thrust from his hips into you was all it took. You moaned out his name and you held his body tighter to you, your convulsing walls milking his thick cock.
"Fuck! Fuck! God that's so hot." Chanyeol panted as he kept thrusting into you, chasing his own release. He could tell the overstimulation was starting to get to you, but he was so close to finishing he went faster. You cried out beneath him when the pain turned into pleasure again. In order to help him along, you squeezed your inner muscles around his cock, squeezing him in a way that made Chanyeol see stars.
"Fuck, yes, do that again." He panted, connecting his lips to yours for a messy kiss. You gave one last hard squeeze and that's all it took for Chanyeol to reach his high. He moaned out a curse into your mouth, his cum filling you up. You moaned at the sensation of him slowly thrusting his hips into you, riding out his high. Once his orgasm faded, he gently pulled out of you, watching his cum flood out of you made his dick twitch.
"Sorry, I didn't even ask you if I could cum in you." He said sheepishly, the tips of his ears turning pink.
You chuckled at how cute he looked, completely different to the sexy beast that was fucking you into your mattress a minute ago. "It's okay, I'm on the pill."
You laid next to each other for a few more minutes. You got up and made your way to your bathroom so you could clean yourself. Flushing the toilet and washing your hands, you make your way to your room to see Chanyeol sitting up on your bed, halfway dressed already. You slipped on a robe and made your way to sit next to him.
"So, I had a really good time..." He said awkwardly, making him look adorable.
"Yeah me too... I'm not one who usually sleeps with someone they just met, but I really enjoyed myself." You said a little embarrassed, you didn't want him to think you were a person who did this often.
"Yeah, no I can see that. You seem like a very responsible person. But I was wondering if I can get your number. You know, to see where this thing goes?" His confidence was back up and the smirk he gave you made your pussy clench, as if he hadn't just destroyed it.
"Sure, that'd be nice." You hand him your phone so he can input his number. You can tell he probably won't be super boyfriend material, but he sure was a good lay.
You walked him out to the door and waved as he gave you one last look before he got in his car. Once inside, he looked over at you one last time and saw you smiling softly at him. His gut twisted in an uncomfortable way, something that didn't sit well with Chanyeol. He only had flings, never anything serious and that was not about to change. He would be sure of it.
Walking back inside and heading to your bathroom to rid yourself of the sweat and cum left over on your body, you tried to forget the unpleasant feeling settling over your chest. Flings and one night stands were not really your thing, so you were trying not to freak out over the fact that you just slept with a guy that you barely met. After your shower, you decided that you needed to tell Mina about what happened tonight. You knew she wouldn't judge you and she was with Suho, who knew Chanyeol and would probably would say everything is fine.
Hey babe, I know you're probably still busy with your rendez-vous with Suho, but I came home with Chanyeol. We had sex...
A few minutes of deafening silence passed by and you started to get a little jittery. You needed to stop freaking out. She was probably getting fucked by Suho at the moment, so she most likely would be away from her phone.
OMG What! Really??? Good girl gone bad! Let's meet up tomorrow for the juicy deets
Same café?
Yes ma'am
Can you ask Suho about Chanyeol?
Ofc ;)
You hoped that you hadn't made a mistake by sleeping with Chanyeol.
Sipping on your hot coffee, you anxiously await for Mina to arrive at the café you were meeting at. You smoothed out the skirt of your white linen dress, getting rid of invisible lint to keep yourself distracted.
"Hey Sorry I'm late." Mina said as she took a seat in front of you. "Oh my gosh, you ordered my latte? You're so sweet!" She said as she took a sip of her iced drink.
"You look... well, like you had a good fuck." You chuckle, eyeing the huge smile that wouldn't leave her face.
"Girl! Let me tell you. It was amazing! So intense and rough yet gentle and beautiful and, ugh, I just cannot tell you how great it was. I can barely walk." She gushed blissfully, her eyes glassing over slightly.
"Well that's great! I'm glad to hear that. So is there something going on between you two then?" You asked curiously. If it was that good, then I'm sure they were going to want to continue it.
"Yeah, we aren't like official, but we definitely want to give it a go. But anyway, how was it with Chanyeol? He is so tall, so I'm hoping it was good!" She was definitely more excited about knowing than she should have been.
You sighed, trying to will away the blush you felt creeping up on your face. "It was... well, it was insanely good, I'm not gonna lie."
"Okay... bitch you better give me more detail than that!" Mina exclaims, hitting your arm and catching the attention of a few people near by.
"Ow!" You hiss, rubbing your arm where she hit you. "Okay fine, he was like, way bigger than I've ever had. I mean, I don't have much to compare him to, but he was exceptional. Like, he definitely didn't get cocky and think his size was going to do all the work. He knew how to use it and I swear I don't know how I'm able to walk today. It, it was pretty amazing." The blush that had begun to form on your face was gone by the time you ended your explanation. Mina looked extremely delighted, which made you chuckle at her facial expression.
"Oh my god, I'm so glad you were thoroughly fucked. No offense babe, but you needed some good dick. You were started to get real bitchy from all the stress of that job of yours." Mina said nonchalantly as she sipped her latte.
Rolling your eyes, you couldn't help but agree with her. You really were getting bitchy. "So did you ask Suho about Chanyeol?" You changed the subject to the one thing you were extremely curious about.
"I did. He said he's never seen Chanyeol in a serious relationship, but that he's like, not a super slut who sleeps around with different people every night."
"Okay, well, that's better than what I was expecting." You really did feel a bit relieved that you didn't need to make an emergency appointment with your gynecologist to make sure you didn't get a nasty STD.
"Are you going to hook up again?" Mina asked excitedly
Shrugging your shoulders, you deliberated for a moment. "I mean, I'm not going to be seeking him out. But if it happens, it happens." You smile slyly at her girlish shriek.
If only you knew how foolish that was. If only you knew that it was the biggest mistake you could make. But for now, you did not satisfy your desires. It was not enough.

Enough Pt. 8
A/N: hey guys, sorry for the delay on this chapter! It has been a crazy time with wild fires and other things going on, but it’s finally here! It’s a little short for my taste, but I hope you guys enjoy it! As always, please don’t hesitate to let me know what you guys think! I’m posting this on Mobile, so once I have access to my laptop I will add the Read More link. Once again thank you for all the support and happy reading!
“Noona, how do you like your new phone?” Mark asked, walking with you out of the conference room and back to your floor.
“It’s fine. I haven’t been able to look at all the specks. The camera quality is good, even though they low key remind me of trypophobia.” You shuddered, making Mark laugh at your description of the newest iPhone camera.
The morning after Mark, Johnny and Jaehyun come over, you noticed you had a text message. To your surprise it was from Chanyeol; and to your mortification, he had answered a text that you had drunkenly sent.
I need to forget about you. Why are you in my head?
Because I’m the best you’ve ever had babe.
Needless to say, you were filled with rage at yourself and at his cocky attitude. You screamed once you realized it actually happened, that it wasn’t some twisted messed up dream. Your brain thought that the only logical action now was to throw your phone across the room, having it crash against the wall, falling to the floor in a broken mess. You had lost your reason, your sanity, your dignity and now your phone. You were screwed and not in the good way.
‘Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! God why did I have to drink so much? Why aren’t there apps that know when you’re drunk and prevent you from drunk texting you ex… or, well booty call I guess? Ugh whatever! Now I have to buy a new phone. ‘
Groaning, you got up from your bed and walked towards your shattered phone, picking it up and inspecting the damage.
“I guess it won’t work if I turn it off and back on.” You muttered to yourself, annoyed at your overall stupidity. You went to the store and got yourself a new phone and as an extra precaution, you ditched your Korean phone number and got a US number. That way, no past lovers could communicate with you and remind you of your poor choices.
“Well noona, we should hang out with Johnny and Jaehyun again, check out just how good the camera quality is.” Mark suggested, really excited at the thought of spending time with his favorite coworkers.
“Sure Mark, whenever I have time we can do that. For now, fetch me some coffee, will you?” You teased as you stopped at your office door, making the young boy roll his eyes.
“I’m not an intern or your errand boy noona, but I’ll do it because you are my favorite old lady.” Mark teased, dodging your foot as you tried to kick him.
“I’m not an old lady!” You yelled at his retreating form, shaking your head at this man-child’s actions.
You sat on your chair and reviewed your notes from the meeting, deciding which tasks to tackle first.
Bring up your planning apps, you started to prioritize your tasks in order to organize your work.
“Knock knock.” Jaehyun said as he stood at your doorway, coffee in hand.
“Hey, what brings you here?” You ask, looking away from your computer.
“I came to bring you coffee. I was getting some and I saw Mark there. I told him I’d bring it to you.” He said, walking into your office and placing the cup in front of you and taking a seat on the chair across from you.
“That’s really sweet of you, thanks.” You said with a smile, grabbing the cup and taking a sip.
“No problem. So, do you have any plans for this weekend?” Jaehyun asked, ears turning bright pink.
“Um, no I don’t. Why?” You asked, heart hammering in your chest.
“Do you want to go out for dinner Saturday?” He asked, looking at you below his eyelashes.
You were stunned, not expecting him to ask you out. Wait, was he? Maybe it wasn’t even as a date, just as friends.
“Yeah, that’d be nice. Where should we meet?” You asked, heart still racing and face heating up.
“I’ll pick you up at 7, sounds good?” He asked, sitting up on his seat.
“Yeah, sounds great.” You said with a smile, excited at the thought of spending time with him outside of work again.
“Cool, it’s a date.” He said, getting up and grabbing his own coffee cup.
“Yeah… it’s, uh, it’s a d-date.” You stuttered as you watched his retreating form, wanting to die from the smile he gave you as he walked out of your office.
‘Oh shit, I’m in trouble.’ You thought, slamming your head on your desk, sighing heavily and closing your eyes for a bit. Before anyone could see you and think you were some weirdo, you sat up and dived right into your work, praying that it would help you not think about your upcoming date with Jaehyun.
***
The weekend was finally here and you were happy, your work week was long and tiring. Friday after work you decided to go shopping, not knowing what to wear to your dinner date with Jaehyun.
You had gone to a cute boutique nearby the office, not wanting to go to Time Square on a Friday night.
The boutique was classy but not over the top, providing the perfect type of clothing for a first date.
After over thinking every choice and making sure you didn’t look like a thirsty hoe, you finally settled on a pretty emerald green wrap dress that hugs your curves in all the right places. It was sexy but decent, the perfect combination for your date.
You stared at your reflection in the mirror, satisfied with your soft curls and simple make up. You took a deep breath and willed yourself to relax, your heart beating abnormally fast. Your attempts were futile when you heard your doorbell ring, signaling that Jaehyun was here. Taking one last deep breath, you made your way out of your bedroom and out to your front door.
“Hey.” You greeted softly, opening the door so he could step into your apartment.
“Hi. Wow, you look amazing.” He said, giving you a hug before he walked in.
“You too.” You compliment, taking in his appearance which consisted of black fitted jeans, black dress shoes and a navy blue button down shirt. He looked amazing and you were really hoping you could hold yourself back from jumping him tonight, cause god knows you wanted to do that right then and there.
“Ready to go?” He asked, swaying on the ball of his feet, looking nervous and excited and all kinds of handsome. God he was handsome.
“Yeah, ready.” You picked up your jacket from your coat closet and headed outside, excited for what the night would bring.
You were trying to behave, you really really were, but Jaehyun was making it extremely difficult by walking slightly in front of you in the crowded sidewalk, his ass looking so good in his jeans. You almost tripped twice because you were staring at his backside and didn’t see where you were going. Once you got to a less crowded area, you fell in step with Jaehyun, his gorgeous backside out of sight.
“So I got us a reservation at a really popular restaurant that opened up recently. It’s supposed to be amazing and apparently a lot of celebrities go there.” Jaehyun said, making simple conversation on your walk from the parking garage to the restaurant.
“Oh really? Which restaurant is it?” You asked curiously. You didn’t know many places in the area yet, but you were excited to try new things.
“It’s called Pulse, it’s supposed to be a cool Asian fusion place.” He stated, coming to a stop in front of the restaurant.
The place was completely packed full, the line was out the door and still went on for a bit. You were surprised to see how many people were here, the place must really be popular like Jaehyun said. The inside of the restaurant was a decent size too, so the line wasn’t there because it was a tiny hole in the wall type of place.
“This is why you need reservations.” He smirked, grabbing your elbow and gently guiding you inside. You tried to ignore the feeling of his hand on your skin, it burned to the touch but in the best way possible.
“Hi, reservation for Jung.” He politely told the hostess, looking at you and giving you a cute smile. You could tell he was excited and that made you smile.
“I’m sorry, what time is your reservation?” The waitress asked, not looking up from her tablet.
“For 8pm. Under Jung.” He said again, brow scrunched in confusion.
The hostess scanned the iPad with rapid eyes, looking for the reservation.
“Sorry Mr. Jung. There must have been a confusion. We unfortunately don’t have a reservation for you tonight.” The hostess said in an apologetic voice, looking a little sheepish.
Jaehyun's ears turned a bright shade of red and you instantly felt bad for him; he seemed so embarrassed and it was an endearing sight.
“Really? Oh man. Is there anyway we could wait and see if anyone doesn’t show up for their reservation?” He asked politely, the crimson spreading from his ears to his neck.
“Absolutely! If you’d like to sit here in the waiting area, I’ll be sure to get you if anything opens up.” She said and motioned for the crowded seated area.
You and Jaehyun made your way there and sat on a couch, pressed up against other people and each other. You looked at Jaehyun and saw how bummed out he looked, it really broke your heart a little.
“Hey, don’t worry about it.” You smiled as you nudged his arm, wanting to reassure him that it wasn’t a big deal.
“I’m sorry I’m just really annoyed. I wanted today to go well.” He said sheepishly as he looked at you.
“It will. Because we are together and that’s all that matters.” You squeeze his balled up fist softly, once again reassuring him that you didn’t mind the inconvenience.
Jaehyun smiles at you and looks into your eyes intently, lingering longer than he allows himself.
He breaks eye contact and looks ahead, feeling his ears get hot again.
After about an hour of waiting, Jaehyun heard your stomach growl and wanted to shoot himself. 9pm is no time to have dinner and he was upset he’d make you wait this long to eat. He excused himself and made his way to the hostess once again, talking with her for a couple of minutes. You saw him take his phone out and look at something on his phone as he spoke to the hostess, while she furiously looked through the ipad. You were confused as to what he was doing, clearly anyone that had a reservation was here and you guys were out of luck. You really didn’t care if you didn’t get to eat there tonight. You just didn’t want Jaehyun to feel bad about the whole situation. First dates usually went bad and at least you two liked each other and wanted to be in each other’s company. After a few more minutes of conversation he walked back to you, giving you a small smile and a shrug.
“No luck. I’m so sorry this turned out horrible.” He said in a defeated tone that made your chest constrict a little bit.
You stood and grabbed his hand, guiding him out of the restaurant and into the chilly night air.
“There’s a really good pizza place nearby, want to go there?” He asked, nervous that you were going to be disappointed of his choice.
“Yes! I haven’t had pizza in forever! And I’ve never had New York pizza before. Let’s go!” You said excitedly, tugging his arm forward.
He couldn’t help but smile at your excitement, genuinely happy that you were so easygoing since he didn’t meet a lot of girls like you.
Your hand was still held securely in his and no one said anything about it. When you grabbed it inside the restaurant, you weren’t really thinking, you just wanted to make Jaehyun see that you were just happy to be in his company. But now you didn’t want to make it awkward by pulling your hand away. He didn’t seem to mind or if he did, he didn’t show. But you’ve concluded that Jaehyun is a gentleman and he wouldn’t pull away from you.
“Here it is.” He said, opening the door to the cute and quaint Italian eatery.
You were sat at a booth in the corner where it was private and cozy. The atmosphere was very intimate and a live band was playing what you assumed was romantic Italian music. After ordering the biggest pizza they had, easy conversation started flowing between the both of you. Whenever you were with Jaehyun it never felt awkward or uncomfortable and you were extremely thankful for that. You also feel like you could be yourself and he wouldn’t judge you, which is another reason why you enjoy being around him.
Once the pizza was set in front of you, Jaehyun served the largest piece on your plate, making you laugh.
“Do I look that hungry to you?” You tease, watching as the cheese pooled around the slice on your plate, making you drool at the sight.
“No… but I feel like it’s my fault you’re starving, so you get the biggest slice.” He explained simply, placing a slice on his plate as well.
The first bite was heavenly and you were so hungry that it tasted so delicious, you weren’t aware of the noise that was made on your throat. It was a low moan at the delicious taste of the pizza in your mouth, which made Jaehyun’s ears turn a light shade of pink. He was grateful that you didn’t seem to notice and he chastised himself for letting his brain go there.
“So, I have a question.” You said as you leaned back on the booth, knowing that you should have stopped at your third slice but went in for the fourth one anyway. Good thing the dress was forgiving and had some stretch to it.
“What is it?” Jaehyun smiled, wiping his fingers of the grease residue.
“If you don’t have a car, which car are you using tonight?” You asked with a head tilt that made Jaehyun swoon. You were so adorable and didn’t even know it.
“I borrowed a company car.” He said with a chuckle, shrugging at your surprised face.
“Are you allowed to do that?” You asked, hoping he wouldn't get in trouble.
“Yeah! We can borrow company cars for personal errands too. I usually don’t because the traffic and parking in the city is awful. But tonight is a night that required a nice car and not the subway.” He winked, making you blush at his explanation. Of course Jaehyun wouldn’t do anything he’s not supposed to and the fact that he thought tonight deserved a car was very endearing.
“I might need to walk off the pizza I devoured.” You whined playfully, making Jaehyun laugh.
“We can take a walk to an ice cream place, if you like.” He proposed, making you perk up at his suggestion. If you were a dog, your ears would have perked up at the proposal.
“I’m down!” You said excitedly, wanting to eat ice cream now.
Jaehyun paid for the pizza (you tried to pay half, but he didn’t let you) and held the door open for you. You walked to the ice cream place and continued your conversation from earlier. He fell in step with you and nudged his hand against yours a couple times. You felt the butterflies in your stomach flutter around like crazy. You glanced at him and saw that he was smiling down at you, silently waiting for your reaction. Once he saw the small smile you gave him, he got brave enough to hold your hand. You felt your face heat up at the same time you saw his ears turn scarlet.
“Is this okay?” He asked bashfully, making you giggle at his cuteness.
“Yeah, it’s perfect.” You said, nudging him with your shoulder and smiling shyly.
Walking hand and hand, you walked one more block and reached the ice cream place.
You ordered your ice cream and sat at a corner table, sitting next to each other to be close.
“So I want to get to know more about you.” Jaehyun said as he ate spoonfuls of his ice cream, giving you an amused smile. “How about we play a round of 20 questions.” He suggested, making you laugh at his cute idea.
“I love that. Okay, go.” You said, enjoying the delicious ice cream.
“What’s your favorite color?” He asked.
“Purple. Okay, what’s your favorite food.” You asked, settling more comfortably on your chair.
“Honestly the spicy pork my mom makes. It's amazing. What’s your favorite season?”
“Winter, no doubt!” You said with conviction, making Jaehyun laugh at your antics.
“Really? But it gets super cold.” He said, most girls he knew preferred warmer weather.
“Yes but it’s so easy to get warm. Fuzzy socks, warm sweaters, hot chocolate or tea and if you have a cuddle buddy, even better.” You state simply, shrugging your shoulders as Jaehyun laughed at your explanation.
“Ah I see, so you enjoy having a cuddle buddy then?” He teased, eyes twinkling in the lighting of the ice cream parlor.
“I mean, yeah? But I haven’t had one in years, so I don’t remember what it’s like.” You shrugged, finishing the last bits of your cookies and cream ice cream.
“What about that one guy from Korea?” He asked curiously. He didn’t want to pry and seem like wanted to invade your privacy.
“Chanyeol? Oh god. He was not a cuddle buddy. He was more of a wham bam thank you ma’am kind of guy.” You said with an icy tone, the memory of Chanyeol and your…. Relationship not something you like to remember or dwell on.
“Oh, sorry for asking.” He winced, feeling bad for bringing it up.
“Oh my god, don’t worry about it! It’s whatever now. I feel like I’m pretty much over it all by now.” You shrugged, not wanting Jaehyun to feel bad for bringing it up.
“He’s an idiot.” He said, tone low but you were able to hear him.
“What?” You asked, wanting to make sure you heard him correctly.
“I said he’s an idiot. He would have been lucky to cuddle with you.” He said honestly, the eye contact being a little intense for you.
“Thanks.” You whispered, feeling your face get hot due to Jaehyun’s words.
“Ready to go?” He asked suddenly, grabbing the trash from the table, his movements brash and sudden. You figured he was probably a little embarrassed and it is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
“Yeah, let’s go.” You said, putting on your jacket before heading out to the chilly street.
Once outside you began your walk back to the parking garage that was now a couple blocks away from your original destination. You contemplated holding Jaehyun’s hand again. He does seem to be into you, at least from how he’s been acting today. And well, since you have known him. You took a deep breath and reached for his hand, intertwining your hand with his. He looked at you a little shocked but smiled as he squeezed your hand tighter, a silent recognition that he did not mind holding your hand. He actually loved the fact that you took the initiative of holding his hand, giving him the hint that you must share his interest.
You arrived at the car much too soon for your liking, even though you were thankful to be out of the chilly night air.
Jaehyun drove to your apartment while holding your hand which made your insides flutter with excitement. You were in a comfortable silence and you couldn’t help but stare at his profile. He is so gorgeous, you don’t know how you got so lucky to be on a date with him.
“What?” He asked, glancing over at you as he drove through town.
“Nothing. You’re just really handsome.” You stated simply, making Jaehyun’s ears turn a bright shade of red in lightning speed.
“Don’t say that.” He chuckled, trying not to show how embarrassed he is.
“It’s true though!” You were delighted to see him squirming in his seat, his face getting a shade darker with each passing second.
“Alright! We are here!” He exclaimed, parking the car in front of your apartment building.
“Thank you so much for today, I had an amazing time.” You said, shifting your body towards Jaehyun.
“I did too. Sorry for the whole reservation fiasco.” He said, subconsciously leaning towards you.
“It’s not a big deal. I’m just glad I got to spend time with you.” You stated, looking into his eyes intently.
There was a sudden heaviness that settled in the confinements of the car, the two of you getting closer to each other. You don’t know who moved in first, but you felt fireworks explode in the back of your eyelids the second your lips touched. It was tentative at first, slow and explorative, wanting to get to know each others likes better. You both pulled away slowly, your breathing a little heavier than normal.
“Let me walk you to your door.” Jaehyun whispered, voice low and husky.
“Okay.” You whispered, pulling away slowly and reaching for the door handle. You took a deep breath to regulate your breathing, lips still tingling from kissing Jaehyun.
You walked hand in hand to your apartment, quiet while letting the reality of the kiss settle in.
Standing in front of your apartment door, you wasted no time in reattaching your lips to his. His lips were so soft and addicting, you felt like you didn’t get your fill in the car. He placed his hands on your hips tentatively, bringing you closer as your kiss got deeper.
His tongue grazed your lips and you willingly opened them to give him access to explore your mouth. You wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him impossibly closer to you, a low moan escaping your mouth. The sound was music to Jaehyun’s ears and he wanted to hear more, loving the way you felt pressed up against him.
“Want to come in?” You asked breathless, needing to get some air.
Jaehyun groaned, placing his forehead against yours.
“God I want to. Trust me, I want to go in so bad and just- god. Look, I like you. I really really like you and I don’t want to ruin this. I want to take it slow, if that’s okay with you.” He said, massaging your sides slowly.
“Okay.” You rasped, giving him a small peck on the lips.
“Have a good night.” He said, giving you a beautiful smile that made you swoon.
You walked into your apartment and waited for Jaehyun to get into the elevator before you closed the door with a deep sigh. You couldn’t help the smile that graced your face, believing that you most likely just had the best night of your life. A delighted giggle slipped past your lips as you headed to your bathroom to get ready for bed, too giddy to let exhaustion take over. You were way into Jaehyun but you didn’t care. He was amazing and different than anyone you’d ever met. You couldn’t wait to see him again and see where your relationship would end up.

Enough Pt. 3
A/N: What is up guys! Here is Part 3!!! Hope you guys enjoy it. I spent almost all night writing it out, so I hope it does not suck/disappoint. Just a disclaimer though, I am only able to update so fast because I’m on vacation. Once I go back home and get back into my daily routine, my window of opportunity to write is going to be extremely small, so my updates will lessen. I just got super inspired during this trip so I want to update as much as possible before I go back home. Anyway, enough rambling. Here’s part 3! Happy reading!
“I honestly cannot do this right now. This is not my department! I’m sorry but maybe you should’ve been doing your job all along instead of relying on Mina to pick up your slack.” You irritably said to the employee in front of you, Jihyeon or Jiyeon, you couldn’t remember. All you could focus on was that you had many emails to answer, deadlines to meet and this girl was wasting your time.
“I’m sorry. But can you maybe call her so she can walk me through it?” She asked hesitantly, holding her breath when she saw the glare you sent her.
“You want me to call her? You do realize she’s on vacation, right?” You deadpan. She’s only been gone for two days and her entire department is falling apart. You sighed irritably, rubbing your temple.
“I’m not going to call her and disturb her vacation. Look, go up to the 6th floor and ask Jimin for help. She will be able to help you with this particular task and meet your deadline.”
“Thank you! Thank you so much!” She said, bowing repeatedly as she exited your office.
You sighed and closed your eyes for a minute, trying to calm down before you resumed your work.
Once work was over, you were so glad you could finally go home and relax. Today felt so long and you just needed some good food and to soak in the tub with some red wine. You were walking out of the building, checking restaurants near your house so you could pick up some dinner on the way home. You were so distracted you didn’t see the person that stepped in front of you, colliding your body with his.
“I’m sorr-“ You started and looked up, surprise evident on your face. “Chanyeol? What are you doing here?” You asked, hitching your bag on your shoulder.
“I came to look for you. You haven’t answered my messages.” He said, looking you straight in the face.
You raised your eyebrow at him, surprised at his bluntness. It’s been two weeks since he last messaged you and said he wanted to come over. “yeah, I’ve been busy.” You say as you brush past him, making your way to your favorite restaurant.
“Okay, that’s understandable. Do you want to go get something to eat?” He asked as he fell into step with you.
You looked up at him skeptically, not believing your ears. Chanyeol was actually asking you to go eat somewhere? Well that’s new. “I was going to go to a kimbap place by my house and head home.”
“Let me join you.” With that, you both made your way to the kimbap house, much to your surprise.
“So how’s work been?” You ask, taking a bite of your food.
“It’s alright. This guy I’m producing a song for is being really stubborn and doesn’t realize how that specific melody is not going to work for his song.” Chanyeol huffed, shoving kimbap in his mouth.
“That sucks, he should listen to you, you’re the professional.” You sympathize, knowing how frustrating that could be.
“I know, I’m the one that knows, but whatever. I’m getting paid, so.” He shrugged, gathering the trash and throwing it away.
You grabbed your purse and walked out with him, making your way to your apartment. You walked in silence for the most part, speaking a little here and there about work and other things that were irritating Chanyeol.
Opening the door to your apartment, you take your shoes off and head to the kitchen to fill the kettle with water for some tea.
“Do you want tea?” You ask Chanyeol, setting the kettle on its base.
“No, but I do want you.” Chanyeol’s breath tickled your neck, wrapping his arms around you and kissing your neck softly, making you forget about the kettle.
He turned you around and covered your lips with his, kneading your hips with his large hands and pulling your body flush against his. He lifted you and made his way to your bedroom, placing you on top of your bed and quickly peeling the clothes off your body.
You helped him get rid of his shirt and pants, wanting to feel his body on top of yours. Once you were both naked, he started to align himself with your entrance, pushing in slightly.
“Wait!” You said, making Chanyeol halt his movements.
“What?” He asked breathlessly, the feeling of your heat engulfing him making his mind hazy.
“You’re not wearing a condom.” You say, trying to push him off you.
“Babe, we never use a condom. Why are you bringing that up?” He grunted, a bit annoyed that you halted his movements.
“Yes but I stopped taking birth control until I got my new dosage prescription sent home.” You say, trying to wriggle underneath him.
“Okay… well I didn’t know and I didn’t bring one.” The frustration more evident in his tone.
“Fine, but please pull out.” You said, a little nervous about not using any protection
“Okay.” He said, resuming his thrusting, the build up from being inside you and not being able to move becoming too much for him.
You were so lost in your sensations you missed the signs of Chanyeol’s impending orgasm. Moaning as his thrusts got faster and more erratic, it finally became too much for you and you came, clenching around Chanyeol and triggering his orgasm.
“Oh yes. This is why you’re my favorite.” He said breathlessly, pulling out of you and laying on his back, trying to catch his breath.
His words made your heart still and a cold shiver travel down your body.
His favorite?
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You asked sternly, turning your head to stare at him intently.
“What do you mean?” He asked, oblivious to his slip.
“What the fuck is your favorite supposed to mean Chanyeol?” You asked agitated.
He stayed silent, his heart skipping a beat and his stomach dropping when he realized what he said.
“Are you sleeping with other girls?” You asked, sitting up and wrapping your sheet around your body, feeling exposed all of a sudden. “Fucking answer me!” You shouted.
“Why are you getting mad? It’s not like we are official.” He said defensively, not knowing what else to say.
“Why am I mad? Oh my god. You've got to be kidding me!” You got up and started to put your clothes on, throwing Chanyeol his clothes angrily.
“I know we aren’t in a committed relationship Chanyeol, but you could at least have the decency of telling me you’re fucking other girls before I let you fuck me without a condom on. Oh, and you didn’t fucking pull out, by the way.”
Chanyeol was dressing in silence, stunned at your outburst. You’ve never exploded on him like that before and he was taken aback. He was a man with needs, he couldn’t see why you were upset about it.
“Has this been going on the whole time we’ve been sleeping with each other?” You ask, dreading what his answer might be.
“Why do you need to know?” He said coldly, his piercing stare stabbing you in the heart.
“I need to know in case I need to get tested for god knows how many STDs.” You let out angrily, appalled at the fact that he has the audacity to sound annoyed.
“It’s been a few weeks okay, damn. Chill out!” He yelled.
A few weeks.
So the second you ignore him he goes out and gets other fuck buddies. Unbelievable. You could not believe it. Actually, you could, but you expected better from him. That was stupid of you.
You were hurt, outraged and mad. You started to laugh maniacally and it honestly made Chanyeol a little nervous.
“Get out.” You said, voice level. He stared at you, unsure of your sudden mood change.
“I said get out!” You screamed. “Get the fuck out of my house Park Chanyeol!” You shoved him towards your door. “I never want to see you again.” You said as you slammed the door in his face.
You stood there for a few minutes, trying to regulate your breathing. Once everything sunk in, you felt the tears roll down your face and sobs started to shake your body. Mina was right all along and you were too stubborn and hard headed to listen to her warnings. Heading for the shower, you felt dirty and needed to rid the feeling of Chanyeol’s body in you.
That night, you lied in bed awake, not being able to sleep and your nose was clogged from all the crying. You really wanted to call Mina and tell her what happened, but you didn’t want to put a damper on her vacation with Suho. You laid on your side and willed sleep to engulf you, the exhaustion you felt was enough to pull you under.
The days after the incident with Chanyeol passed by in a blur. You were busy at work trying to meet deadlines and helping the PR department while Mina was away. You were so busy and exhausted at the end of the day that you had no time to think about or dwell on what happened. Not to your surprise, but Chanyeol had not tried to contact you since the incident at your apartment. Mina was coming back tomorrow and you couldn’t wait to see her and tell her what happened.
Mina had agreed to meet you at a coffee shop near work once she came back from her vacation. It was the end of a long work week and you were glad to have a few days off to take your mind off of things and catch up with your best friend.
“Hey I’m here!” Mina rushed in and sat down in front of you, taking her scarf off and smiling brightly at you.
“Hey! I ordered you a latte, I hope that’s fine.” You say, suddenly a little nervous as to how she was going to take the news.
“It is! Thank you! Oh my god, I have news!” She squealed, radiating a positive aura.
“I have news too. But go first.” You say, trying to relax.
Mina took a deep breath before she exclaimed, “I’m engaged!” She put her arm out so you could see the beautiful light gold band with three stones on the middle, sparkling beautifully in the sunlight streaming in through the window.
“Oh my god! You’re engaged?!” You were shocked but so happy for her. Your excitement made you forget about the news you were going to tell her.
“Yes!!! He planned this whole vacation so he could propose! It was so romantic and so unexpected!” She gushed, a cute pink blush covering her face
“Babe I’m so happy for you!” You exclaimed, getting up to embrace her in a hug
“Will you be my maid of honor?” Mina asked, looking at you with a puppy dog face.
You chuckled at her antics, as if you needed to be convinced of accepting her offer. “Of course I will! It’ll be my honor to help you through the whole process and try to keep the bridezilla away from Suho.” You joked, knowing how your best friend can be under a lot of pressure when it comes to her personal life. Pressure in her professional life is where she excelled.
“Thank you! So, what were you going to tell me?”
The smile fell from your face when Mina reminded you of the reason you even asked her to meet In the first place. You were second guessing telling her, you didn’t want to bring that up after her amazing news.
“Oh, it’s nothing exciting. I just wanted to let you know that between Jimin and I, we were able to help your department meet all deadlines. So everything should be in order when you go in on Monday.” You weren’t lying, that did happen. But it’s not the reason you called her over.
She gave you a quizzical look, not really buying your story. “I mean, that’s great news, but is that really the reason you called me out? You could have sent that in an email or text message.”
“It is. I just missed you and wanted to see you in person. Which I’m glad I did because I now know that you’re future Mrs. Kim!” You said In what you hoped to be a convincing tone.
“You’re so silly.” Miss said, shaking her head as she sipped her latte.
You breathed a sigh of relief, it seemed like she believed you. You were going to tell her of what happened, but you didn’t want to do it while the high of her engagement was still so new.
————————————————————————
Two weeks had passed since Suho and Mina announced their engagement and as a maid of honor, you were in charge of their engagement party. You had rented out a very cute restaurant that had a nice party room and that’s where the party would be held. The party was tomorrow and you had just gotten off the phone with the restaurant to finalize the menu that was going to be served. You sent a text message to Eunji, Mina’s college friend and bridesmaid, who was helping you out with the decorations to see if she was going to be able to meet up with you an hour before the party to help you set up the decorations.
Sighing, you get up and stretch out your sore back. You had been working long hours and on top of that you had been investing a lot of time in planning Suho and Mina’s engagement party, it had started to take a toll on your back.
You put some water to boil so you could make yourself some quick ramen for dinner, not really in the mood for anything elaborate. You grabbed your phone to check your calendar, you had to check all the appointments you were going to attend with Mina as her maid of honor. You saw that dress shopping, for both her and the bridesmaids, was scheduled for Monday and after that, you were going to look at venues. You were preoccupied looking at the events that you did not notice the red dots on the calendar until you glanced up casually.
You were confused at first, seeing the red dots, your brain not registering it at first. You stared at the dots and tried to make sense of the dates. The red dots were last week, but that didn’t make any sense. You were never late with your period. You double checked the date and saw that the dates were correct.
You had been so busy with work and helping Mina plan her wedding, you didn't notice the fact that your period was late.
Your mind raced and you felt your heart drop to your stomach, the realization that you are late and Chanyeol did not pull out making you feel dizzy. You clutched the counter top, trying to regulate your breathing. You needed to stay calm and think rationally.
Glancing at the clock, you saw that it was late and the nearest pharmacy was closed already. To make matters worse, it was the weekend and the clinic was closed, so you couldn’t call to make an appointment with the gynecologist to get a pregnancy test.
The boiling water for the ramen took you out of your stupor, your hunger long forgotten as you blankly stared at your stove, feeling empty.
“And I just want to thank my best friend for dealing with me these past weeks and throwing this beautiful party for us. Love you babe! And thank you all for being here.” Mina concluded the toast at the end of dinner.
You smiled warmly at her as the guest applauded. Mina took a seat next to Suho as the dessert started to be served. You were standing in the back, drinking out of your champagne flute. You were glad the party was a success and you didn’t even notice when Chanyeol had arrived. You didn’t even notice his presence during the whole event because you were making sure everything was running smoothly. You were a little off though, since in the back of your mind you were worried that you might be pregnant.
“Hey. Are you okay?” Mina asked, wrapping an arm around you.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” You say softly, giving her a small smile. She gave you a skeptical look, not buying your answer. “I am! I’m just tired from work and all the planning.”
“Aww I bet. You’ve worked so hard.” She says, giving you a squeeze. “I haven’t seen you talk to Chanyeol all evening. Is everything okay?”
You tensed up at her question, realizing that perhaps this was a good time to tell her the partial truth. “Yeah… we aren’t seeing each other anymore.” You said, bracing yourself for her reaction.
Her eyes bugged out the size of saucers. “What!? Since when?” She asked, shocked.
“It’s been a few weeks.” You said shyly, hoping she wouldn’t get mad.
“And you’re barely telling me?” She asked, a little appalled
“I know I’m sorry, I just didn’t want to tell you after your exciting news.” You told her with a small smile, hoping that would ease her anger.
“I’m sorry you felt like you had to keep it in. Are you okay?” She asked concerned.
“Yeah I’m fine. It’s for the better.”
“Well I’m glad you realized what’s good for you. You know I’m here for you whenever you need to talk.” She said, embracing you in a tight hug.
“I know babe. But go mingle, I’m fine.” You say reassuringly.
You glanced around the restaurant, trying to look for Chanyeol. You saw that he was sitting at a table with a couple of Suho’s friends. You send him a text message and hoped he would read it soon.
Meet me outside please
Chanyeol felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and took it out, getting bored of the conversation happening at the table. His heart skipped a beat when he saw your name pop on the screen. He quickly unlocked his phone and checked your message. Once he read it, he looked around the room and his eyes finally met yours, making his heart stop for a second. Once he saw you walk out the door and out to the courtyard, he took that as a sign to follow you. He excused himself from the table and made his way out.
“I thought you didn’t want to see me anymore. Do you miss me?” Chanyeol asked as he came up behind you, tucking his hands in his pockets, a stupid smirk on his face.
“Don’t say stupid things Chanyeol, I’m not in the mood for your crap.” You bit out, appalled at his brashness and insensitivity.
“Alright chill,” he chuckled smugly, loving when he riles you up. “Why did you call me out then?”
“I think I might be pregnant.” You said. You might as well say it all at once instead of beating around the bush, especially since he’s acting like such a prick.
When the words left your mouth, Chanyeol felt a chill run down his spine. Pregnant? He was not ready for that kind of responsibility and commitment.
“Are you sure?”
“I said I think I am. My period is late. I’m going to make an appointment with the doctor on Monday.” You informed him, staring at the stoic expression on his face.
“Well you better take care of it. I don’t have time for that kind of thing.” He said coldly, glaring at you as he said it.
“Take care of it? Seriously Chanyeol? Do you think this is the perfect time for me to have a child? Especially yours! Whatever happens, you need to make yourself responsible, this is your fault.”
“My fault? How?” He hissed, getting defensive at your tone.
“You didn’t fucking pull out! I told you I didn’t want to do it without a condom and you promised you were going to pull out. I get it, it’s my fault too for not stopping and sending you home. But what’s done is done and we both have to be responsible if I am pregnant.” You ranted. You know you want to have children eventually, but once you were a bit older and were married or at least in a committed relationship. Chanyeol was not someone you could imagine having a child with, not did you want to.
“Unlike you, I have a career that’s successful, so I have the most to lose here. I’ll message you after my appointment and I’ll tell you what happens.” You brush past him, ignoring the brief look of hurt in his eyes as you threw his slow music career in his face. You were done being nice to him and trying to not hurt his feelings. You probably shouldn't have said it out of spite, but you can’t say you felt guilty either. You were done. You had enough.
