im literally in so much fucking pain i can barely walk but i guess I need that $174, huh?

It’s Oona’s first birthday on Friday (9th).  I’ve been reminiscing (not the correct word for it).

This video must be from the first week… the really upsetting ones have me talking over them, I sound hollow but really trying hard to be accepting of the situation.  I distinctly remember that aftermath feeling of having been cut open, a removal (no nature taking it’s own course in this birth, if that had been the case she wouldn’t be here now) and that life inside being taken away without a glance to be opened up multiple times and put in a box for 10/11 days(?) until a nurse offered for me to hold her for the first time.

But she has made 1, just about. Wondering what the next year has in stall for us. ..
