The Waddle Dees were happy with her response, acknowledging it, and let her go gather her things before they went off. Whatever she got, she’d be checked by customs once there.

The Waddle Dees had lead Jae into a little rocket ship, much like one used by a different space faring traveller. Exactly, actually. It’s a little small for Jae, but at least she can cram herself inside.

Once aboard, they took off, shooting through the stars for a multitude of hours. Hope your Video Game Console has a good battery if you brought one, Jae.

Eventually arrive, Jae’s herded through customs, she’s given the all-clear, and is allowed into the rest of the fortress. It’s a very slick and polished place, of chrome and metal, very.. Sanitary. 

The Waddle Dees, seemingly content with their work, just.. Leave her there to wander around. Is.. Someone going to like, come help, or..

“Another one of our ‘friendly’ neighborhood wizard’s allies, I assume?” Who’s this guy.. Why’s he so small. “So sorry, miss, this may be a bit redundant, but could you tell me your name?”

   She’s just... staring. She’s been making the same, unblinking face for god knows how long. She’s making a point of showing off the ‘Ghost Mafia’ sticker on the side of it. Why is she still. allowed to visit Mafia Town.

---- Mobius was always quite the fun place to visit... whether it was the sprawling green hills, or the lush seasides... but it seemed as if N, today, had made a poor choice in where to actually ‘hop off’ her portal-ing spree. Ruins were never exactly cheery, and compounding that bleak feeling she got was this wreck of a city. Dreary... that’s the word she was looking for.

      After hearing something clanking around nearby, N fled, and made her way into whatever building she could find that looked stable... only to find herself not very alone at all.

      Awkward.

----- “ Uh. ” Oh god. Social situation. Worse - one where you’re not sure if the person in front of you is good or twisted.

      “ ... O-oops? ”

“Wuh-whoaaa! What the-...” There came a fellow waddle dee, running right into Bandana Dee!  Not even a word or second to spare! What’s the rush? Where was he going?

And where were all his other fellow troops following after him going? Did Bandana Dee miss something? 

Should he be worried? Maybe. Should he following and check on them? Just in case?

...He’ll think on that one. He’s got a real bad feeling about this.

❝ sorry. you, uh... just look like a friend of mine. ❞ the rotund figure, the mustache, and even the accent were quite close. he even had a hat! sure, it wasn’t... the hat, but mario wore all sorts of different hats, if not in his usual. was that really such a stretch? ❝ we were gonna meet up here for pizza. are you the pizza guy or something? ❞

he paused, glancing down at the bags of gummies he brought. that... actually could be a problem. ❝ ... you know if bringing your own candy is allowed on the premises or what? ❞

   it didn’t matter to him if he had startled the woman that managed to get into his base, his red eye barely illuminates his body within the darkness inside the blimp. it had landed for a reason in what felt like THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. to resupply, but it seems that someone may be trying to steal from him- and thieves don’t go unpunished. “IDENTITY YOURSELF, AND DON’T TRY TO RUN. I WILL CATCH YOU.”

   even if she did manage to outrun him, his servants ( old badniks ) could easily slow jae down.
