Another week passed and things were a little better with wanda you would say. You guys weren't close but she had started actually sitting and talking with you instead of just sitting in her room or going out until a certain time. She got to know you a little better, You didn’t pressure her on anything for any matter.
If she wanted to share you would gladly listen but if she didn’t want to then you would change the topic to something else and she was very grateful for that. Other than that you were healing a lot better, Your arm was getting to the point where you could move it around like before but not too much. Your wounds were almost all healed with only a few remaining here and there but that was to be expected since they were really deep. They might Scar.
Currently you were looking around Wanda’s flower farm while she was cooking the two of you some lunch inside. The sounds of bird chirping and the leaves moving made the whole thing seem calm and quiet but you had a feeling that it wasn’t always like that here before. “Y/n? Time to eat” Wanda called out from the small window from the kitchen, Directly towards you so you could hear.
You smiled at the small deer that stopped a few feet in front of you and then walked inside the house. “I saw a very cute deer outside” You commented as soon as you sat down with your food, Wanda raised her brow at you in amusement. “Are you sure you didn’t hit your head a little too hard, You’re getting too excited on every little thing” She joked and you laughed lightly before frowning. She noticed the change in your mood and placed her food down to look at you carefully.
“What happened? Did I say something wrong?” She instantly became worried if she might have hurt your feelings for something. She really didn’t mean to. You shook your head trying to ease her worries. “No no you didn’t say anything wrong, It’s just that- You know what nevermind” You gave her a forced smile but she saw right through, She had trained with the best assassin in the world before. Of course she could tell what’s true and what's not. “Something is bothering you. If you don’t wanna share it it’s fine but maybe you wanna talk about it?” She gave your un injured hand a little squeeze to comfort you. You gave a small smile, A Real one this time. She knew because the crinkle in the side of your eyes.
You didn’t know why but you trusted her, Maybe because she had that aura within her of that trusted, safe person or because you knew she wasn’t a bad person as the others think that she is due to the whole westview incident. “When I was 10 my drunk father sold me in exchange for some booze. I was sold to a rich egomaniac who cared for money and drugs. Him and his family were one of the biggest dealers for the drugs and were filled with booze.
They kept me as an Hostage for quite a while thinking my father would come running back to get me. He didn't. I knew that he wouldn’t. I was there until I was 17 so 7 years. They were arrested when a deal went bad and I was freed. I went to find my family after a year in the police custody. I found out that my dad died of a heart attack only a few months after I was sold. My mother was very happy to see me and I found out I had a sister from her second marriage. I had a stepdad but I didn’t see him a lot so I didn’t care. Guess Because I lost 7 years of the world I tend to get a little too excited over things that Kids should be and not full grown 20 years old adults”
Wanda held back her tears as yours fell freely down your face. You really tried blocking that part of your memory away most of the time. It was never a fun topic of conversation with the people who tried to learn. They would leave mid way. Not caring of what you went through. But you knew Wanda Cared, She listened, she felt you. She had a similar bad childhood herself. She knew the struggles of a young child without parents and under some evil minded people’s control and captive.
“I’m sorry that happened to you Y/n. I really am.” She took your hand in hers, Letting her feeling of comfort fill you. “It wasn’t your fault” You shrug her worries. “Plus it was like 5 years ago, I’m fine now. I got my friends and family to help me cope” You add, Not meaning it to sound like you were telling her something else. You realized that it sounded like you were trying to subtle jab at her past about her way to cope with her feelings of loss.
She nodded wordlessly looking at the table with unfocused eyes, her mind was somewhere else you were aware of. Westview. Vision. Her children. Everything that she was ripped away from because of the harsh reality of the world and the cruel way of nature. You wiped off your tears and calmed yourself and watched as wanda slowly came back to reality, The small red huge that you pretended not to see gone just as quickly as it came. “I- Uh - I’ll do the dishes” You changed the topic, Taking the places from the table before she could complain and walking away. This gave both of you enough time to think about the whole thing that just happened.

Later You were tending wanda’s Flower garden while she was away to do something that you were unaware of. Inreality she was there, You could feel the powers all around you letting you know that she didn’t really leave, She did sure but Her astral projection was here, around somewhere. Watching your every move to see what you really would do. She wouldn’t leave a person she has known for less then a month alone in her hideout, She wasn’t stupid. She was giving you a chance to do what you would want, What your real intentions were. You Didn't have any, You just needed a way to contact your sister and let her know that you were dead, That You were still there. Getting out of here would be a different issue that you would think about later on.
Once again the feeling of having eyes on you caught you, It wasn’t Wanda, You would tell it wasn’t her. This feeling was more of dread, Of danger. Wanda was scary with her full power yes but the aura of her powers were surprisingly comforting than the one that washed over you. Looking around once again you were met with nothing but trees and plants. Not wanting to risk it you quickly walked inside and huddled inside the blanket you were provided with. You saw the small Scarlet wisp peak from Wanda’s room but kept quiet and focused on reading the book that You Found around there. It seems to have belonged to Natasha, well that’s what you assumed with the small ‘N.R’ Signed on the side of it.
The feeling of being watched didn’t leave for a while but once It left you could feel Wanda’s powers, Much more Sinister and much stronger around you. As if the same bad thing had somehow mixed with the witch’s powers and they were growing together. You didn’t want to assume anything but the feeling and the thought that Wanda might be falling into something that will be harmful was the only thing that you could come to the conclusion to.
