Which character is the proper gentleman who puts on his best perfume for the duel, and who swaggers up late looking dishevelled and still sexy dammit?

I feel like 'dishevelled guy' could be jerrie or teazer or tugger or - canonically! - the cat whose coat is dusty from neglect. Possibly one of the kittens of any gender. Perfume guy? Munk or Misto or Cass or Alonzo are the obvious choices but you might have some other inspiration!

CATS 2021 (US Tour 6) Headcanons

I'm going to try to veer away from discussing my 1998 headcanons in detail here because things can get complicated quickly, and if you follow me, you've probably already read all those posts. This post will consist of my headcanons for US Tour 6, some of which may cross over into 1998 territory, but again-- I will try to stick to one version here to avoid confusion.

I'll start with my family headcanons just...because I can. Munkustrap, Macavity, and Tugger could be brothers here. Others who have seen this tour suggest that maybe Demeter and Tugger are siblings, and I totally see that here! I would also like to propose the idea that Macavity and Tugger could be twins, and neither of them are related to Demeter at all. Tugger could totally be Skimble and Jenny's son. As for Munkustrap, he will always be Old Deuteronomy's son. Deme and Bomba are still very close, but they give me "best friend" vibes as opposed to the "sister" vibes I get from the 1998 version. I still think that Sillabub is Demeter and Macavity's daughter. I'm not really sure about Alonzo and Demeter's relationship, so I'll save that for later. Jelly and Jenny still dote over all of the kittens, and I think any of the kittens could belong to either of them. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer are definitely siblings, and there's nothing at all to be done about that! I don't have any more strong family headcanons for this version, so let's move on to pairings!

Based on the interactions I saw, these are the pairings I prefer for this version: Cassoffelees, Demestrap, Platoria, Skimbledots, and Tuggerina. That being said, Demelonzo and Demelonzostrap are a possibility for this version, as are Tuggoffelees and BombaTuggoffelees. It really just depends on how you interpret the show, and, as per usual, there are many different possiblities. I even caught the slightest hints towards Munkuteazer and Bombastrap!

I'm not entirely sure of Grizabella's relation to any of this. Overall, it's still really hard to say with much confidence why she was kicked out of the Tribe. My aunt (who had never seen CATS before last night), said that perhaps they chose Griz for the Heavyside Layer because they just wanted to get rid of her: "If we let her be the one to die, she'll at least quit coming around and bothering us," and honestly that's hilarious.

Ok, i personally view Munk and Teazer’s interaction there as more ‘Annoying my crush’ for Teazer while Tugger and Bomba are more overtly flirting but . . . yeah. I could see this.
