tagged by the illustrious @unironicallytes, who is delightful as ever, and will continue my tradition of not tagging anyone because lazy/tired/forget spellings of names

I haven't done shit for nothing on the TES side of things other than the gala drawing, which I shan't be showing yet, and maybe a couple words on peepaw isekai. so please instead enjoy this house I cobbled together from a 1930s catalogue by mashing two different buildings together to suit my purposes (for my murderboys stories)

Obscure Asks

3. How do they carry themselves around strangers? Friends/Lovers? Family? This is a fantastically complicated question, huh? Around strangers: He's Patrizio Attavanti, he carries himself thus. The more perceptive/familiar with him will notice how stiff he is, how unyielding. He is terribly stubborn. His mind is not changed easily. That comes across in his body language. There is a bit of discomfort, too. He can speak to and in front of people, that's not the source of the discomfort, he just doesn't want to. There are less social things he could be doing with his time, and it's rare that he finds people he wants to connect with and rarer still that they return the sentiment…

Around friends: Mercurio is the only person in this category, who he comes to love and trust entirely. They share almost everything, and thus he is the most comfortable around Mercurio, and is more often willing to open up around him. He's not as tense, and when he is, he's also not trying to hide it.

Around family: Depends on the family. Around his sister, he is his truest, most open self. As vulnerable as he can be without making her worry. Around his mother, he is still reserved. Maintaining the image of the Patrizio worthy of inheriting his father's house and title. Around the children, he is and always will be their beloved uncle.

4. If your character was a work of art, how would you describe them? I think you won't be surprised that I'm going to answer "a marble statue."

Vittorio's face is made up of, as you put it once, "strange and wonderous" angles, and I think he had a face well suited for marble. Whatever the details, he'd be somewhat imposing, but ultimately, always misinterpreted.

36. What makes them blush? Aside from embarrassment… You gave me the answer to this questions ages ago, actually in a short scene.

Vittorio is very prideful about things he can accomplish. He is not particularly vain about his appearance, he maintains his appearance well, but his face will just be, forever, what he looks like, he doesn't tend to think one way or the other about it. So it's always a little shocking when Mercurio compliments how he looks, and he'll always turn a little pink being called "beautiful" or "handsome."

38. What fairytale/myth suits your character the best? I should fucking read more fairytales/myths I suppose. Is it cheating to say Beauty and the Beast? Or. Hm… I had a weird thought, maybe Rumpelstiltskin? Making gold from nothing?

44. How do they hold onto people? He doesn't. Usually people hold on to him, of they… don't. He and Rosa have a close bond, keeping her near him and making her feel safe has never been difficult, and his niece and nephew adore him.

But his past friends, the few there have been, drifted away, and the object of the Summer fling he had some years back went back to his home, far away, and never kept in touch, thereby ending the relationship. So when he does nearly lose Mercurio, he can't think of a single thing to even try to get Mercurio to stay…

53. What does freedom mean to them? This is such a loaded question.

Freedom means being able to act without risk of consequences. He is notorious for not regretting the choices that he makes, but there are rules to follow. A lack or loosening of rules is freeing.

I just wanna say: love that this ship is a foil to ToastedGhost (basically mirrors it but it’s the opposite)

Gavin and Jimmy working together would cause some real damage let me tell you

Like the reason Jimmy’s not as dangerous as he could be is because he doesn’t plan, he just does whatever he wants at the time

But if Gavin - who is more of a methodical, planning type - is there too...oh shit we got a problem y’all. Gavin would probably figure out that Jimmy is also Ghost p fast, so he’d probably stalk them do some research and find out how to trigger Jimmy

Gavin and Jimmy are good compliments to each other, because while Gavin likes to do thing behind the scenes (really I’m just headcanoning here I’m so sorry) Jimmy’s a front lines kinda guy

Am I allowed to call the ship Partners in Crime or MurderBoys

Pet names? No, only insults that are the equivalent of pet names

“Gavin can’t I stab him?” “No you dumb bitch we need him alive” “just a tiny stab? Please???” “Fine. But we need him so keep it non-lethal” “Awwwww...”

Patchin’ up your partner in literal crime while calling them every swear you can think of amirite

Cons: while I think they’re a good example of ‘opposites attract’ I’m not exactly sure it would work out that way

Honestly they might actually despise each other which, yknow, isn’t great for a relationship

Fuck that, Enemies to Lovers fic someone write it!

Conclusion: While I do really like this ship, I’m not sure whether it would work out in practice. Jimmy’s pretty unstable and who knows if he’s even interested in romance, being some sort of weird possession-entity-thing. Personally I love how this ship foils ToastedGhost and has the potential to be a badass villain duo, but I really have no clue whether they would murder or kiss each other on sight.
