Myths of the Deity
-The great lion-like beauty of the roaring blaze of the sun burns bright untamed and boastful; she challenges any and all with her boisterous roar upon the morning that roar she taught to roosters who crow upon the dawn.
-Muritai wished to warn humans of the approaching fire, so she fanned flames with a few locks of her hair to make it bright as dawn and burn with smoke. There are many variants of this myth, depending on what particular group of humans she was saving.
-Muritai cut a lock of her hair to make a burning of rope to bind a great fiend before casting them into the great depths of the infernal realms.
-Muritai taught a select few how to restore things rendered to ash and dust. In this gift the goddess of the sun showered them in the gold of the Flame Fantastic. A stunning lavender/gold flame that when ashes are placed within it the item is restored with the magic of the immortal sun.

Rituals, Holidays, and Sacred Days
-The grand temples are huge, sprawling buildings with much open space and huge windows to provide as much light as possible to those within. Many doors will have stained glass windows with a sun motif to further this theme.
-Temples often have a popular feline pet and a large garden of sunflowers on the land they occupy.
-Temples traditionally use the Sunflowers in the gardens to make a bright alcohol for celebrations called the Golden Dawn.
-Many clerics spend time on farms blessing crops or giving them protections against the Lady’s more dangerous elements, such as drought.
-Clerics of the church are forbidden from affairs or other improper relationships.
-The traditional sun emblem staff of the church, used by clerics and temple guards alike, has it’s large emblem sharpened to a deadly edge,
-Many others ask for blessings on a child with wild red hair, so they may grow bold and bright like the Lion. As a result there are many red-haired warriors and adventurers in lands where the Lion is worshipped
-Holy days to the goddess are the longest and shortest days of the year a symbolic gesture of her power.
-The Lions Pasture sect believes that a percentage of crops gained must be put to torch and flame burned with reverence; the wheat should go up as thanks for protection under the suns watchful eye. They gain Protection as an additional Domain
-The Burned Locks sect has all clergy shave part or their full head and burn the locks in solidarity towards the goddess. The gain Lust as an additional domain.

I spent 20minutes searching for a piece of art for the Burning Locks sect... guess what is really hard to find?
So yeah that was a problem.
Also yes braids are a popular style choice in the church especially among those that do not wish to cut or shave their heads.
