I’m so sorry, I don’t really feel comfortable writing Sam (as anything but a background character), I don’t think I could do him justice :O

(But this is an awesome idea for a story, so if someone wants to pick it up that would be awesome!)

So, uh, this one was a little weird to write because Sastiel is a total BrOTP for me, so I wrote it kind of vague so you can interpret it as either awkwardly platonic or awkwardly romantic <3

“When I said I wanted to get closer to you, Sam,” Castiel said, shifting awkwardly against the wall, “this wasn’t exactly what I had in mind.”

Sam let out a reedy laugh. His breath was warm and wet against Castiel’s ear—the ceiling in the closet was about three inches too low for him, and he’d had to contort himself around the angel to get comfortable. 

Well, comfortable was a strong word, Castiel guessed. Sam’s elbows and forearms were braced on the wall behind him, his knees bent and his head lowered to rest in the crook of Castiel’s neck. Their abdomens were pressed flush against one another. Castiel could practically hear the strain of Sam’s joints after being trapped in the dingy little closet for the last half hour. 

“Yeah, this… can’t have been ideal,” Sam grunted, adjusting one leg. “But hey, Dean should be back with the counterspell to get us out any… heh, any day now.”  

Castiel hummed. “Judging by the rarity of the sigils on the door, I’m guessing we can expect at least another thirty-five minutes of this.” 

“Wonderful.”

Castiel had to admit, Sam’s body pressed up against his felt good. In an objective sort of way. A tingly, pleasant, completely objective sort of way that absolutely didn’t remind him of his time with the reaper April. 

Damn human bodies and their hairtrigger response to stimuli.

“Uh, Cas. Please tell me that’s your blade in your pocket.”

“Um.”

Sam groaned. “Oh, god.” 

“As your brother would say, I believe I’m… happy to see you.”

“Oh god.” 

“Yes, keep that up,” Castiel nodded. “Hearing my father’s name seems to decrease the swelling.”

Sam laughed. He was growing warmer, and Castiel guessed that his face must be flushed. “Well… I guess we have to wait it out.”

Castiel shrugged. As best as he could, at least. “I’ve heard of worse ways to spend thirty-five minutes.”
