Transfer News: Milan officially sign Musacchio
Villarreal defender, Mateo Musacchio, was in Milan for his medical last week, but the official signing announcement was delayed do to red tape issues.
But it has now been confirmed by Milan that Musacchio will sign with il Diavolo once the transfer market actually opens July 1.
Official Statement from Milan:
“AC Milan announces the signing of Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal on a contract until June 30, 2021.”
It is believed that Milan will pay around €18 million for the services of the now ex-Villarreal player.
Milan are without Mateo Musacchio for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Juventus, but Lucas Biglia is in. Reports claim Musacchio’s left ankle has flared up, ruling him out of the trip to Turin.
