Surely it was known by now that he wasn't the most social of people. When they'd made it to the Golden Saucer, Cloud had headed to his room and expected to just be left alone until such time his strength was needed. What he hadn't expected was the rather timid like knock to the door - the robotic tonberry by the side of his bed helpfully announcing that he had a guest. Everything about this place was too loud for him, but he saw how excited the others were and was trying not to be too much of a downer. Shaking his head slightly, Cloud climbed back out from bed and wondered over to the door, watching as an animated ghost flew around the haunted hallway of the hotel before his focus landed on Dez instead. "Is something wrong?".

What was that....where was he? Standing in an immense field of flowers, and someone was nearby. Every time he turned his head to look at them, they disappeared from his view. It slowly made him grit his teeth and clench his fists.

Was he...dead?

"...how long have you been..." He motioned slightly to the flowers that lined the center area of the church, having taken care not to trend on any more after having fallen on them not too long before. To the best of his knowledge, flowers were pretty rare down here...yet there seemed to be so many growing in this one spot - a soft enough cushion to have perhaps saved his life even...yet there was something about the event that seemed somewhat familiar...but he was pretty sure he'd remember if this had happened to him before now.

He crouched down, reaching out to gently touch the petals of a flower near the edge that he'd flattened, for some reason feeling something akin to guilt. It was just a flower - nothing about this was making much sense. Maybe he'd hit his head harder than he'd first thought.

“Cloud..?” The brunette asked in a soft tone and stepped aside from the counter. Once she did, the barmaid tried to get a closer glimpse and there seemed to be a tired expression found on his face. “You’re back, it seems.”

He was fine-- no he wasn’t. Limbs fighting to keep his body upright, he slumped as he walked toward her. His blue eyes were half closed and his breathing was a little slow-- Cloud was exhausted. “I am...” He managed before he collapsed.
