gone were the days where people travelled with carriages or on plain horseback ; gone were the days of candle as a light source, a new dawn had awoken in the world. as it had done many times before, and surely would continue to do so long after even his own expiration date. oh, how he craved the kiss of death from the moment before his time with his maker, before he himself had become death itself. everything he had touched, loved, nurtured had all crumbled within his cold fingers. and yet he could not help but continue to cling to life as though fear trickled through his entire being. eternally blessed with damnation and a seeding despise for all that had happened. that was his curse ; feeling everything and nothing all at the same time without so much as a hint to it. eyes forever holding secrets to which another would not bare and he would not dare place it upon, for this was his and his only to bare.
louis could not help but grimace at the feeling of having the sun shine upon his still marble like features which showed a tough exterior. when he talked though, apparently the only way to which one could see his humanity through the features was when he talked. the lines forming upon his skin to show movement rather than the stillness that was his everlasting portrait. a hand raised to block out the brightness while taking a few steps towards what looked to be shade. not realizing that it was, in fact, the entrance to a garden on what people had called the school grounds: hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. how foolish those words sounded when rolled off the tongue, but it did not do well to doubt it’s existence. for he was also part of legends, the thing’s humans talked about in the corners of their room and walking about dark alleys at night. who was he to doubt the existence or even the mere possibility of more ??
