She loved when there was a break and Ryan was able to come home for a few days. Going to Boston to see him was something she enjoyed but it was a lot to travel with Penny. But when they were in Boston the two of them stayed together and while they tended to stay together when he was in town the two of them didn’t live together, he still had his own place to go back to. Taking the pan out of the oven she put it on the stove top before looking to Ryan who was playing with Penny in the living room. “Ryan?” She walked to the doorway and smiled at their daughter who was hitting at the xylophone Cassie had gotten for her. At least it wasn’t a drum. “Can I ask you something?”

As her due date had gotten closer Daphne had stared to get more and more nervous about what was coming but in the end it was all worth it. Penelope was the perfect baby and Ryan had been right there when she was born. It had been a worry of theirs that he would be back in Boston when their daughter decided to make her appearance but the baby had come early. Taking a deep breath she shifted her hold on the newborn and smiled down at her. “You have no idea how excited I am that you’re here.” Reaching up she lightly ran her pointer finger over the little girls nose before glancing up as Ryan came back into the hospital room. “Daddy’s back and hopefully he found pie.” Shifting a little on the bed she winced before leaning back against the pillows. “Did you find pie downstairs? I can finally eat something and it needs to be sweet.”
Send ❄️ for our muses to kiss in the snow @brok3nxdreams
Daphne laughed as she pulled her coat tighter around her. Boston in winter. It really was freezing out but the snow was beautiful. Which was why she’d asked him to go for a walk with her. Though clearly she needed to invest in a coat that was a larger size because she’d skipped zipping it since it was uncomfortable. “I might actually like the city more when it snows.” Reaching out she took his hand and pulled him after her. The Greenway really was beautiful and there weren’t a lot of people out at the moment. “It’ll be so pretty here in the spring.” Looking up at the sky she smiled before turning to face Ryan. There was a pause before she quickly kissed him. “Lets get ice cream.”

"Sixth grade? No wonder you think you’re so hot, you’ve been getting girls since middle school.” Daphne laughed as she looked through the e-mail on her laptop. She thought the name had sounded familiar and couldn’t place why it stuck out to her and now she knew. The blonde was about to tell him why it came up but paused when he added that she would be his last kiss. “You’re such a dork.” Leaning forward she put the laptop on the coffee table before looking over at Ryan. “She’s having a baby I just got an order request for a gender reveal cake and I couldn’t place why her name sounded so familiar. But it’s really cute that you thought I’d be jealous of a girl you kissed years ago.” Yes she had been jealous when they were younger but it was because she didn’t get her first kiss until Homecoming their sophomore year of high school.
My muse has just discovered they're pregnant. Send me a + to see how they would break the news to your muse.

Having sex had been spur of the moment and honestly Daphne hadn’t thought about the consequences. She hadn’t had sex in months so of course she wasn’t on birth control because there hadn’t been a point. Who was going to get her pregnant? But now she realized why that mindset had been so stupid. The blonde had known something was wrong when the smell of browning butter had turned her stomach. That was something she liked, hell it was why she loved using brown butter in things so clearly something was wrong. Now she knew what it was. Glaring down at the pregnancy test she took a slow breath through her nose. This was bad. Not because it was with Ryan, he might have been the best person for this to happen with, but because her having a baby would hold him back.
She wasn’t going to leave their home town. It was where her bakery was and she was happy there. He wanted to be on an NBA team and there was no saying it would be a local one. Taking a deep breath she looked at her phone. Texting her best friend that she was pregnant was wrong when it was his baby right? That would be the wrong move. But god did it seem like such a good idea at the moment. A text meant she didn’t have to look at him when she said it. Sure it was a cowards way out and she felt guilty the moment she sent the message but at the moment shew anted to be a coward. So she sent him the simple text: I’m pregnant. Before walking to her bed and curling up in a ball.

"I mean if we want to get technical if I was a zombie I would have died first, you’d just be the person I personally kill off first.” Really she loved Halloween and Ryan was a fun person to try her very awful lines on. He always laughed and that was what she was going for in the end. Really he should be happy she didn’t go with the broomstick line that Cassie had suggested. She seemed to still be rooting for things to work out between Daphne and Ryan and apparently a line about sex would be the right way to go. Instead Daphne went with the zombie one. “Just be happy Cassie isn’t here trying her lines on you. “Oh I think seeing you will scare them enough.” She shot back before pouring more candy into the bowl she had by the door. “You could have gone to the party, you know I’m just going to hand out candy and watch scary movies.”

Daphne let out a content sigh at the little giggles that filled the garden. No one could say her daughter wasn’t energetic, she’d been walking for a few weeks now and spent most of her time stomping through the flowers before falling backwards and just sitting on the crushed blooms while another string of giggles left her. It was the most perfect sound in the world and really she’d given up trying to save the flowers that hadn’t been given a protective little fence when Susannah had started to walk. But now they knew what to expect with their next one who was only a few months off. No one could say that she and Ubbe had any problems conceiving. It was one thing to be a natural, it was another to have an active child that wasn’t even a year and a half with another on the way. “Sweetheart please not Mommy’s flowers.”
If she wasn’t so exhausted she would have gotten to her feet and scooped the little girl up but she’d been following her around the garden like a nervous chicken for the better part of the morning. The sound of the door opening made her smile and she didn’t need to look back to know that Ubbe had returned. “Your daughter has decided she hates daisies and they’ve been destroyed.” She looked towards him thankful for the shade of the tree she’d set the blanket under. “If she starts running again it’s your turn. I don’t know where she gets the energy from.”
Their daughter on the other hand had yanked a daisy from it’s stem and held it out to Ubbe with a giggle
