Funny, smart, crazy, so many ideas. Obsessed with death, she had all of her belongings appraised and brought to the exhibition from her house. She was homeless for a while and had an office at the museum, with a sign that said knock if you want to say hi. The second half of the show was devoted to her failed projects, all funnier than the last. Her pretending to be pregnant because of something she read online, her hiring a detective to find the other Sophie calles, her working with WIn wenders on a film, her devastated from a breakup and then getting bored ….

Dumped in august

Pierre dumped me in August. Quickly and over the phone. He needed a week on his own to think. So, I made a list of the words that foreshadow the end, words for leaving, and I did an internet search of break-up text messages. It seemed like a good idea but I stopped hurting too soon.
