Things to do, you can visit the Bo-Kaap Museum, the Museum was established in 1978 as a satellite of the SA Cultural History Museum. It was furnished as a house that depicts the lifestyle of a nineteenth-century Muslim family.

Beaded Drawstring Bag Glass Beads Pompadour Reticule Victorian Fashion 1903 Family Heirloom Blue Flower Floral Design Gold

For just $68.00 This beautiful Victorian era, glass beaded, Pompadour drawstring bag was someone's family heirloom. It was purchased by myself in the plastic bag as shown in picture 3. This bag has wonderful gold glass beads as a background with a shades of blue glass beaded flower on each side. Little white beads make up stylized flowers as the trim. It also has green and clear glass beads that make up the stems and leaves. The drawstring is a simple cotton cord that is attached by white glass rings. The inside lining is also a cotton or muslin and is in good condition. Condition of the bag: It's important that you look at all pictures. There are 2 spots where the beads have unattached from themselves..( like a seam ) One spot is on the bottom. I believe this may be from being laid flat for many years. A person knowledgeable with bead work would be able to fix these easily. Bag measures appx. 7" long x 5". It also has a good weight to it. My wish is that this bag, become someone's treasured heirloom. Price reflects the flaws. *IMPORTANT* Please see all pictures as they are a part of the description. Please read all measurements as the pictures can be deceiving in relation to size. Rocks, fake fruit, candles, books, shells or any other photo props are not included.
