There’s a great fanmade documentary series about BTS on YouTube called The Rise of Bangtan. It doesn’t have a lot of info about their pre-debut days, but it tracks their journey largely through their own words. It’s so well-done and presents an engaging narrative of how they’ve grown.

Do you like the way Kon is depicted on Titans? From what gifs I’ve seen, he seems really different from his comics counterpart, but pretty endearing nonetheless.

OK so it’s been several months since I’ve watched Titans (i watched all that’s currently out of Titans in like one marathon so it just. blends together in my brain) so I don’t remember every detail but like... I liked him better than Young Justice Cartoon Conner at least? Like, he’s still not much like actual Kon (especially because this one had like, elements of memories from his clone parents which is explicitly stated as not the case with Comics Kon and even YJ cartoon Conner didn’t have that going on if I recall), but he was way more endearing than the YJ cartoon for sure.

Like if they’re gonna go with a ‘fresh out the cloning tube with basically no personality’ approach (vs like, from the moment Kon came out the tube in the original comics he like... had an established ‘cool teen guy’ personality based on the things around him, and the fact that he had knowledge of pop culture) having him more on the naive but friendly end was definitely preferable over him just being Angy all the time. But he still didn’t really feel like Kon. He at least looked like Kon (at least that Era of Kon) though which was nice

I know you don’t care much for Batman, but there’s an upcoming DC Animated Movie adaptation of “Batman: The Long Halloween” that stars Naya as Catwoman! 😻

What are the two main ships for Guy and why don’t you like them?

people usually ship him with kyle or hal and i like cannot bring myself to give a fuck about kyle. and as far as i know most of that is based in post green lantern: rebirth (2004) stuff anyways and i think giving guy back the green lantern ring was a mistake. and honestly i see guy as like 8 to 10 years older than kyle and i dont think guy would date him

meanwhile i like actively hate hal and think that any attempt to make guy and hal more than “quietly tolerating each other being in the room for the sake of the group” is just an attempt to redeem hal’s character when he should’ve stayed dead after he flung himself into the sun so it wouldn’t die. i also hate the idea of them together because guy’s life has been destroyed multiple times in order to make hal’s life better or to give him a chance at self improvement. and then theres the whole thing where hal does all the shit guy does but worse and gets rewarded for it narratively and fandom-wise. its a double standard and i hate it.

like if you’re going to ship guy with another green lantern john, kilowog, and salaak are all right there but whatever

I’m sorry for butting into the conversation unwanted, but I do want to point out that Blaine’s superhero costumes on the show have been based on Robin and Nightwing. So his favorite superhero is likely Dick Grayson.

Ah yes, they definitely are based on Robin & Nightwing... which, let’s be honest, is appropriate as Dick Grayson has the best butt in the entire DC canon, and Blaine has the second best butt in Glee (I know a lot of people would say #1, but I will put Cooper’s butt as slightly juicier... which, funny enough, I totally wanted Matt Bomer to play Dick Grayson if they ever did Nightwing in the DCEU because c’mon y’all, wouldn’t he look great in Nightwing blue?  None of that New 52 red crap...)

But I digress *lol*  Blaine obviously loves Dick Grayson, because who wouldn’t, he’s a precious muffin, but has room in his heart for other sexy af movie heroes as well in my mind.

Hi! Do you know of any article or post about timeline in ACS Versace? I'm confused about some sequence of events. In 1990 flashback in eps 1, Andrew was living with Liz Cote. But in Ascent episode, it seems like he goes from living with his mother to living alone, then with Norman? Where would his time with the Cotes and meeting Gianni in a club, fit in the sequence of events in Ascent eps? Thanks b4! So in the ACS timeline Cunanan lives with the Cotes in 1990 and doesn’t move in with Norman Blachford until 1996. Here’s a promo video of the ACS timeline (which differs from the real life chronology). The ACS events go like this:

1990 - ep 1: Cunanan lives with the Cotes, meets Versace

1993/1994 - ep 7: Cunanan works at the pharmacy and lives with his mother -> becomes a sugar baby for Lincoln Aston -> meets David Madson -> Lincoln Aston murdered (may take place in 1995)

1995 - ep 5: meets Jeff Trail (timeline error bc Trail shows up in a bar scene in 1993 in ep 7)

1996 - ep 7: moves in with Norman Blachford at La Jolla (though dialogue in ep 6 suggests he moved in 1995 but this show is confusing like that)
