one thing ive always hated about the one trait danger fandom is that stoney is very explicitly jewish (had a bark mitzvah*, mentions his rabbi in his music) - and not only do you fuckers take away this representation in every single fan depiction - you replace it with cultural christianity.

you are taking a characters CANNON marginalized culture & religion away from him and assimilating him into the status quo/the prevailing cultural norms.

and yes this goes for every "secular" thing - christmas is still culturally christain. easter is still culturally christain. giving him catholic religious trauma is forcibly making him culturally christain.

like i know a lot of people dont actively think about the jews, but i wish we did. :/
