I found a copy of Orville Peck's PONY today, and while I didn't couldn't buy it, seeing it was a pleasant surprise. Maybe in the coming days, I'll go back to get it.

One of my favorite non-traditional pieces for this time of year, the main theme from, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, by the late Ryuichi Sakamoto.
This rendition is particularly striking in orchestration, quite different in tone from the piano solo and chamber settings that one usually hears, and I am partial to the liberal use of percussion here.. really poignant and powerful stuff in my opinion.
