why do so many shows have horrible season 3′s?
Watching the younger people in fandom learn about the citrus scale is both hilarious but like also sort of idk nostalgic??? Like I remember being like 12 or 13 and looking through fanfic.net (I'm 20 so like 8 years ago damn) and not knowing what lemon meant so I would just.... read really mature stuff for my age until I noticed the pattern like i didn't have these guides I learned by accidentally reading 2 lemon fics and being shocked then noticing the pattern?? I just, it's so nice that the kids today just get guides before we even embrace the scale again at least they won't have to go through what I did. Embrace the citrus scale, learn it, and maybe look into its past so you can know why it was made in the first place and why we all panicked when tumblr did this to us

Fairouz Andaloussiyat Egyptian cassette (1966, 1994)
You’re all in for a real treat. Fairuz is known as one of Lebanon’s marquee female vocalists and as the artist Ministry sampled for “Hizbollah” (1988). Andaloussiyat‘s cassette copy was released on Lebanon’s Sawt al-Sharq (Voix De L'Orient) label but Cairo’s Art Line distribution released it for Egyptian audiences. Fairouz’ script is ornamented Kufi and Andaloussiyat is written above in Thuluth, all read from right to left in Islamic culture. The j-card is one-third pink with black type, housing a white cassette with blue print. It’s aestheitc like this that makes me wish I could find and collect these foreign titles.
Luciano Vargas, overcompensating in the garden.
Since too many people are asking me “what IS that?” I wanted to share this one more bit before collapsing in bed. Yes, it is THAT long. It broke under its own pressure when I picked it up.
This oil painting by the Belgian marine artist François Etienne Musin (1820–1888) refers to HMS ‘Erebus’s’ Arctic venture under the command of Sir John Franklin in 1845. For Franklin’s last journey she had been fitted with a steam engine and a screw propeller and was accompanied by HMS ‘Terror’. In 1848 both vessels were abandoned in the ice. In this painting Musin shows the vessel surrounded by icebergs, but still in open water. A gloomy sky is only allowing some sunlight unto the scene, causing a stage-like effect in the composition. In the foreground the ship’s crew are busy moving smaller crafts across the ice.
