do you have any idea how satisfying it is to witness something like this? your former idol, your old role model, becoming so sick of you. when they hate you so much they want to k!ll you. it means you've left an indelible mark on them. you're always in their thoughts, no matter how hard they try to push you out.

believe me, it's better than being loved. love can vanish in an instant. but grudges and spite? they linger, even when you have the purest heart. that's the unique kind of obsession the world's fastest hero has with me.

those days in the past when i used to bear the role of a mentor for wally west. how he took my advice, trusted me with his heart, saw his dear uncle whenever he looked into my own eyes. it was almost touching, hearing the boy saying everything he did was to honor my name, like an innocent puppy. i wish it had lasted longer.

if only i could have spent more time with him, maybe i wouldn't have lost it. maybe i would have controlled my temper and not revealed the truth - that he's just a cheap knockoff:)

being barry allen was satisfying, even if it was only for a short time. i created an unforgettable place for myself in my dear nephew's mind.
