Sheet Pan Maple Mustard Roasted Chicken is a tasty and simple meal that's great for busy weeknights. When you mix sour whole grain mustard with sweet maple syrup, you get a tasty glaze that caramelizes beautifully on the chicken thighs as they roast in the oven.
Ingredients: 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs. Salt and black pepper to taste. 4 tablespoons whole grain mustard. 3 tablespoons maple syrup. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 425F 220C. On both sides, season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Maple syrup, garlic, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and thyme should all be mixed together in a small bowl. Put the chicken thighs on a baking sheet that has been lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Spread the maple mustard mixture on both sides of the chicken thighs. Put the chicken in an oven that has already been heated up for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and the juices run clear. Flip the chicken over halfway through the cooking time. Take it out of the oven when it's done and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
