The Love & Glory series
WAY back in 2002, I started a fanfic series from Smallville called Love & Glory. It started as a Lex/Clark/Whitney trio and factored in family issues and Lex's past, which included an aristocratic mother and boarding school with one Bruce Wayne. Unfortunately, a house fire in 2011 stopped this series as all my notes were destroyed. However, I did uncover some saved files and am going to finish this series. I posted all the stories to AO3.
Book I: Cascading Events
The trio got together and Lex was forced to confront his father is a game of high stakes business manuevers. Throw in some spies, meteor mutants, and a governmet looking into that mysterious event and that's the first section.
Book II: Rising Tides
This is where it bcomes a broader crossover as Mutant Registration Act plays out in the political background. The Triad starts a family by accident and Lex lauches the world's leading tech company.
Book III: The Gathering Storm
Lex Luthor runs for the Senate while Mutant and Meta Human issues are all over the news. The Friends of Humanity want to make sure mutants are registered. SHIELD and InterGang also get organized here. The Society for Justice starts to come together.
Book IV: Coriolis Storm
Lex runs for the White House. SHIELD has Project Wide-Awake in production and has a plan to deal with mutants, Magento, and Luthor all at once. Lionel's bastard half-brother has is own plans coming to a head at the same time.
I think I have everything running in one direction to get this finished. I'm excited to attempt to bring it to its conclusion.
