Hi! It's been driving me crazy but I can't seem to find this one fic I read on AO3. I know it's been completed, but the plot is basically your usual oblivious Wei Wuxian living in Cloud Recesses with his 'best friend' Lan Zhan. Until one day, a minor Sect leader comes to Gusu to propose to Lan Zhan. Lan Zhan says yes because he doesn't think Wei Ying loves him back. It's a happy Wangxian ending and the sect leader does become friends with Lan Zhan, though!

Review: The truth is that I haven’t actually quite finished reading this fic yet, but I wanted it to be the first recommendation on this blog. I have fallen in love with it. I continue to be amazed with the amount and quality of such beautiful fics dedicated to this fandom. So far, I love the characterisation of Wei Ying; selfless, self-critical, oblivious, and so, so, so in love.
