You wrote my my favorite fic ever(The Answer) and I need to thank you for that :D

I remember how emotional that fic made me and how many times I reread it because of how well it was written!

Also it's awesome how good Murdocs traumas were researched and explored in the fic, you have an excellent handle on who he really is, as well as 2d. It was also nice to see their problems taken seriously and not romanticized or given a "happily ever after" immediately. Big respect to treating them human, it made them feel real and relatable :D

Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to leave a comment! The whole idea for the fic began with me wanting to write a 2Doc fic that ended with them separating, and having that separation be a reflection of their respective character growth. That being said, I ended up caving a little because I reunited them when it was all said and done hehe. I also had an image of Murdoc looking up at the sky and smiling that wouldn't leave my head. Who was that Murdoc? How did he get there? I knew it would take a lot to get him to that scene in a somewhat believable fashion, and the story grew from there, from different sources of inspiration. I'm glad the ending felt earned because that was one of my primary goals.
