The remaining Z-Fighters(except Roshi, he died before this what-if) are fighting Angel 21, and its a team effort.
Their heaviest hitters for the fight are 17 & 18 fused into Lapis Lazuli, aka Cyborg L2. Remember, the Android thing was a mistranslation(An honorable mention for a fusion name is Cyborg 35).
Due to them being Cyborgs, having unlimited Ki, they dont exactly need transformations. In fact, with enough training, they'd rival Ultra Riyō. But that is time they currently dont have.
Training started after the T.o.P, mainly to get 18 to MVP 17's level. They later decided to figure out their own fusion, just in case. Its not Potara or the Fusion Dance. Its not Machine Mutant Fusion either, because thats a Tuffle creation. With their combined strength + the Cyborg benefits, their fusion at default is Ultra Riyō -Mushin-, the perfect version of that state. No grey hair because they dont age, which also means they avoid the downside the 100% humans have if they used the -Mushin- state at an old age.
The Anahata Chakra, love & compassion, fits them just like Krillin, despite their real names. Their fusion can last as long as it wants and 17 & 18 can split at any time. But if theyre up against enemies of their level, then they split after gettihg beaten down hard enough(after all, even MVP 17 was tiring out in the T.o.P).
Some of their techniques are: Honed Destructo Disk, Obliteration Wheel, Godly Cyborg Barrier, Lightyear Waltz, and Divine Thunder Strike.
While the battle is raging, a green flash can be seen in the distance, where Sym & Gohan are fighting Almighty Cell.
