i'm repeating something i said in a comment section: bts are the creative beacon of kpop music video craftsmanship. because they offer basically... fucking everything. they're not lacking anywhere. they have the epic scale, the range, the innovation, always-distinct themes, color palettes, excellent background dancers, emotional hooks, happy chemicals, ahead-of-the-curve thinking, memorable outfits, killing parts, hair styles, production, practical effects, the physical capability, the exponentially difficult choreographies, the fandom-first mentality, the balance of vocals and rap, cute vs hot, intellectual vs visceral, fast vs slow pacing, matching the beat with visuals, they can turn a 0 dollar nature backdrop into a greek tragedy and make difficults sets with risky stunts look easy, it's almost never the same thing but the references are always there, their work ethic doing all of that is incomprehensible, they look amazing, and they outdo themselves every step along the way. i mean what more could anyone ask for.
