“It is for me!”

“Hmph, maybe. Maybe not. It’s an idea that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while, and now that Senketsu’s repaired it’s not like I have anything better to do in my free time. You never answered my question though, would that be something you’d be interested in?”
mvtoi started following you
“Hmph, good. Now I don’t have to ground you.”

Korra scoffs almost as soon as Ryuko speaks, it’s not surprising to her that the first thing out of her mouth was something sarcastic. Ever since she’d come to the Earth Kingdom, the delinquent had been causing all sorts of trouble, from starting bar fights to inciting riots- the counts against her were already quite numerous. But somehow, each time, Ryuko was able to out multiple wanted criminals by baiting them out with her cocky threats and insults. This time though, things had gone much farther then either had planned.
“Hold still, stupid, let me heal you up a bit then we can get out here.” Korra put a hand on the other’s shoulder, holding her down gently before reaching up with her free hand and pulling water from the moisture in the air. As soon as it appeared, it formed around her hand and glowed a bright blue. She pressed it against Ryuko’s ribs first, that seemed to be the part where the damage had been done.

“Quit your yappin’.” The younger twin frowned before she took the box of bandages out of her drawer before sitting next to her twin. Who else was going to take care of them if they didn’t. At this point, Ryuko wasn’t messing around. They were small, but she couldn’t help but just be a little worried.
“The faster they’re patched up, the better. So shut up and give me your arm.” The teen huffed as she slowly peeled away the other’s arm that crossed against her chest as she started taping up some of the bigger cuts with the roll of bandages around her forearm.
“So are y’gonna tell me what happened?”

“To a certain degree, it is real.” Isshin replied, stroking his beard as he always did. “It was best to be authentic when hiding from your mother, didn’t want to be given away by something as minor as a pillow substituting for a hunchback. So, I snapped my spine a few times.” Let it never be said he didn’t do everything in his power to protect her from Ragyo as long as possible... Shattering his spine like he did was one of the most painful experiences of his life.
Even having his car explode with himself inside paled in comparison.
If he was saddened by the initial sharpness in her words, he didn’t show it. And as her monologue had continued he found himself with the smallest of smiles adorning his face. Isshin watched as his daughter’s face lit up, the way it always did when she started talking about her friend. Mako, he believed her name was. Mako Mankonshoku.
If merely mentioning her friend made her this happy, then Isshin was of the opinion that maybe Mako Mankonshoku was one of the best things to ever happen to his daughter. As Ryuko laughed, Isshin caught himself chuckling alongside her. Despite all the trauma and tribulations, he couldn’t help but to notice that the baby he had rescued from the dumpster all those years ago had matured.
His little Ryuko was growing up before his very eyes.
“Speaking of Miss Mankonshoku, when are you ever going to invite her over? You talk about her an awful lot, but I’ve never seen the two of you together.” Though that could be accounted for him always being in his lab. “I’d like to meet this best friend of yours.”
