35. My muse dies in your muse’s arms.

Daimonji’s vision came back, seeing the ground, he pushed himself over to Anten and Maekami pushing back the rest of the angel stragglers before a dull pain in his side began growing to an agonizing tearing and burning sensation, pulling his mind away from the fight or anything else around him. 

The demon reached to hold the pained gut, missing what should have been his side, their must have either been a gaping wound or his flesh was torn off completely. He was to worried to look, and ached too much to try, dropping his hand across the bloodied cardigan and trying to gather himself. Every time his body tried to heal it’s wound a feeling filled his blood, stinging into his veins. A gush of blood hit the ground when the attempt failed once more.

A blurred pink mass entered his field of vision and Daimonji knew it was Lil before she lifted his head form the ground and placed it in her warm lap. If she tried saying anything to him, it just passed through his ears as a jumbled mess along with everything else around them, unsure if it was his stupor or blood loss he tried to just ignore the confusion. An unsteady shaky hand searched his cardigan, only near the wound his he find the flower stem.

“I don’t have the will to fight any more...” Daimonji chocked out starring at the flower, its seven white pedals had been reduced to five, no doubt they where floating around in the puddle underneath him. Its five remaining petals had his blood splattered across them, reminding him of the Higanbana.

Tears formed under the bright green shield glasses, Daimnji couldn’t look at the shaking flower anymore and dropped it onto his chest, resting it and his hand over his heart. When he finally looked up the demon saw Lils face and kept looking past into the night sky he had shared with Cosmea and now left to Higan alone. 

“Those two have always been stronger... They’ll keep an eye on you...” He said for Lil, unsure if words where even coming out of his mouth, yet still Daimonji continued. “I hope they watch out... for her too.” He added practically whispering, He always thought Higan would be better off without him, now he had no choice but to pray she would. At least the pain seemed to be dulling as Daimonji started feeling fuzzy, a different feeling then his normal stupors, but instead a constant exhaustion and chill that pulled him into a sleep he knew he wouldn’t wake up from.

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: lil. she also wakes up sullivan via tiddy, probably.

Who’s the one to make breakfast: sully! he likes making brekky... even if he usually doesn’t eat it.

Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: sully as well!

Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: LIL, THAT’S OBVIOUS.

Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: LIL AGAIN.

Who chooses the movies: lil. sullivan has little choice in that matter.

Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Lil, and it’s probably a little more than kissing....

Who orders lunch: lil probably does, just to save sully the trouble and social anxiety, lol

Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: lil does that to sully probably

Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: sulllyyyy. lil is Comf and he is Sleepy

Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: LIL, DEFINITELY.

Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: uhhh??? maybe either one of them, depends on the situation.

Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: lil!

Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: LIL. SHE DOESN’T STOP TALKING ABOUT IT, EITHER.

Who cooks dinner: honestly lil probably gets somebody to make it.

Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: again, lil gets somebody to do that. sully works too much and she is damn royalty.

Who stays up until 2 reading: sullivan, probably. but he passes out while reading a lot.

Who stares at their partner while their sleeping: lil. she thinks sully is really cute like that.

Who kisses their partner while they sleep: lilll, and he wakes up from that, but probably doesn’t mind and just snuggles her more.

     ... It wasn’t entirely unexpected for Lil to visit Sullivan. At this rate, random visits weren’t unheard of from the succubus, but, needless to say, they still surprised Sullivan.

     Something planned and official, however, wasn’t something Lil would do with the crow demon. And the fact they actually planned to meet somewhere terrified him. It was almost like a date... God, it scared the shit out of him. He knew he was going to mess up somehow.

    He held his head in his hands as he patiently waited inside the coffee shop he ever-so-gently requested. He figured it would be better to meet in a place he was familiar with, but that was... not true. At all. He was sure he would be more nervous anywhere else, but he would rather not think about that.

    He supposed all he could do was patiently wait for... whatever kind of entrance she would make.
