  The Marionette leans forward over its box, gazing at the child. Oh, it has seen this one before. This was the first child to visit, who wanted words instead of prizes. How baffling, still, the concept of a child this age not wanting so much as a pencil topper is to it.

  Nonetheless, the Marionette will not dishonor the child’s apparent desires.

  “Hello, little one. What can I do for you?”

“Oh, so you’re some kind of mouse?” Lincoln bent down to speak to the mouse,

“That’s really cool! For a second, I thought you were a bunny! Those ears of yours kind of remind me of Bun Bun!--Who isn’t a stuffed animal I keep on my bed..haha.”

Professor Venomous announced loud enough for the other to hear. At first, he ignored the scurrying Fink did close to his work area. The shuffling of papers, the origami, and the tugging of his lab coat’s sleeve. It was weighing on his nerves, at long last. 

His eyes flickered over to where she stood, his lips curving slightly downward. It’s not that the bio-engineer felt bad for scolding her, per say. It’s more so because he’s interested in her response.

  The Marionette stands tall from its gift box, sat neatly in the otherwise entirely empty prize corner. Upon seeing the child approach, however, it kneels more to their level.

  It had anticipated a child wanting a gift– that was the Puppet’s job, after all. To give gifts– in the form of small prizes, to the children who could not get their own tickets from the machines. But instead approached a child who seemingly wanted to talk.

  “Not yet, little one. You are the first to visit me today. What can I do for you?”

  Its voice is sweet and melodic, and yet hauntingly hollow.

.・。.・ ✮  A pause. Wait ------ Bunnies didn't have LONG TAILS. Otherwise, Spring Bonnie & Plushtrap would have had long tails. & that would have either looked really weird or really creepy. Now what did have long tails ? Well, sometimes mice got into the pizzeria ------

Something told her she wasn’t were she was supposed to be, looking around the simply colorful place that didn’t remind Skinny of Earth at all. Everything had been so ... loud and vibrant here. From afar, she spotted a small silhouette similar to that of Carnelians, and Skinny felt a weight lifted from her heart.

“Hey Carn’! I think we jumped off at the wrong planet- Oh.“ As the small creature turned around, she knew for sure that she was in fact not talking to her friend. 

“My bad. Uh- Hey there?“
