Pro tip:
Don’t wait to trim your plants for over 6 months.
That is a 5 gallon bucket full of plants from my 40 gallon tank. I haven’t trimmed since 2017. I hate my life.
I’m so mad I spent over 3 hours a few weeks ago getting rid of all the hair algae and it’s BACK.
Some Cory cuteness

I need some advice! So here’s the deal: I have a school of black skirt tetras and ONE white skirt. This guy. I’ve had him for over a year now and he’s lost eyesight in one eye from a fungal infection the tank went through about 8 months ago. He’s always been on the small side, but I started noticing that he doesn’t eat at the surface with the rest of his school. He does... this. It seems like he’s feeling around the bottom for food to eat. Besides me watching and making sure he DOES get to eat, is there anything else I should be doing? Does he seem to be suffering? He swims and schools when he’s not eating.
Deep clean and rescape on my 40 community tank. Also got rid of that hair algae!
