ive got a story im working on based around fairytales, and heres an artpiece about the main characters based off the fairytale “My Lord Bag of Rice”
it took a bit, but i do like how it came out !
ok but my gem designs for kh were killer. if only i had the energy and time to do everyone
this is a gaius redesign from a loooong time ago but im still impressed with how it came out so
Lazuli “Jaws” Marz
my overwatch oc who i based off lapis lazuli from steven universe. dont worry, they wouldnt have the huge op hand 24/7 in an actual game mode, i just thought itd be cool to draw it gigantic for the pic
anyways i dont have a ton built up for them but they lived most of their life under the ocean in an underwater lab bc their parents were scientists and eventually an accident had happened connected to talon causing the lab to be destroyed
lazuli being one of the only survivors, and having saved all the experimental equipment from the lab (that had saved their life) that their parents had been working on, they take on the role of a hero of overwatch, because they want to shut talon the fuck down once and for all
abilities: water hand able to do multiple things;
make a fist around peoples heads for a short amount of time, drowning them and therefore slowly taking away health
im not sure whether to keep it a hand or make a chain, but basically a hookshot that isnt as effective as widows but can get you up a short ledge in a hot second if you need
splashing someone with water slows them down a lil, but doesnt even end up actually stopping them. alternatively, shocks the enemy momentarily
finally the ult, in which the hand grows to a really fucking big size and slams down in front of lazuli, causing everyone in the radius to be knocked down, sorta like reins ult, but i think shorter, but, everyones slowed down after the impact for a short amount of time as well
you know me i love designing, especially redesigning kin/fav characters/cool looking characters
