“Solas lied to you!”
Me: He’s actually a shitty liar. He really has no choice. It’s either, “Live under a somewhat false identity” or in my opinion, a conspicuous identity. Or “reveal to the world that he is an Elvhen God”. Which no one would believe anyway, and would probably get him run out of town for insanity.
He chose correctly, in my opinion.
The man we see in Inquisition is who he is or, at least, wants to be.
We see a glimpse of “Solas” toward the end of Veilguard. But he is wearing a mask for most of the game. It is his shield.
It’s why most Orlesians wear masks when they play the Game.
Solas wasn’t lying when he said “only by omission”.
I don’t give a fuck what you think, haters.
I will defend this man’s lies till it kills me.
That man is lying as a pure defense.
He is not a Pathological Liar.
He doesn’t default to it. He uses it as a means of defense when he has no choice.
So shut the fuck up. 
I am forever a Solas Defender and damned if you judge me. It still won’t change my mind.
I am on this hill as it’s guardian and will die on it if necessary.
