Sun rising, birds singing and the sound of the waves hitting the shore. She shifts, finding his warmth. Her hands reaches out blindly, wanting to hug him, but the only thing she felt is the softness of the pillow beside her.

Eyes fluttering open, she hugs the pillow to her chest, catching a whiff of his scent. She pats the sheets besides her and felt a small warmth on it. Seeing that he's already up, she sits up groggily with a yawn. He must've woken up a while ago and went up to get some air.

She felt a pleasant ache between her legs as she kicks off the covers. Heat rushes up to her cheeks as she remembers the passionate night they had.

She pats her red cheeks while getting out of bed. Turning to look at the balcony, she sees his familiar figure behind the white curtains. Barefoot, she walks quietly to him while fixing her night gown. Her heart flutters as she gets more and more closer to him. She still can't believe it, still can't believe that he finally belongs to her and hers only.

Her husband.

His heartfelt vows rang in her ears again and again, lips twitching up into the happiest smile she had. "I vow to laugh with you and comfort you during times of joy and times of sorrow. I promise to fight for you, and love you unconditionally and wholeheartedly for the rest of my life."

"Good morning hubby~" She greets cheerily and pecks his cheek as her arms wraps around him. "Mm..." He takes her hand and guides her to sit on his lap. "Good morning... My wife." He greets back, kissing her.

"You look so happy. I'm curious what made you happy." He asks while he wraps his arms around her, tenderness visible in his eyes as he stares at her eyes. "You... And... I miss your warmth... Mm..." She answers unhurriedly, savoring the warmth his giving. Lucien chuckles and kisses her temples.

"Mm, it's good to hear that I made you happy. And it's not long since I got out of bed. I was about to back to your side when I felt your arms wrapping around me."

"That's because I miss you the second you leave." She sighs and rests her head in his shoulder. "So cheesy..." She added. "But I'm not going to leave anymore. I'll be with you for the rest of our lives." He smiles as he takes her left hand and kiss the golden band. "Yeah..." She mutters as he looks up at him, affection visible in her eyes.

"Lucien!" She squealed as he hooks an arm at the back of her knees and lifted her up.

"Hubby." He corrects her as he takes her back inside the room. "I won't leave your side. Promise." He vowed and kisses her eyes. "Mm, me too... I'll stay with you forever." She responds and his smiles broadens as she places three kisses in his lips.

"Mm... I love you too."
