My Guideline to Writing ✍🏽

1. NSFW Content: While I occasionally explore NSFW themes, my content leans towards the vanilla side. Any story I write that is NSFW will be labeled as 18+.

2. Smut Writing: Despite my username, I tend to steer away from explicit smut writing. I am open to oral r + g or 🖐🏽jobs but beyond that I am not really comfortable with writing. I mainly prefer more fluff, mature and angst based writing.

3. Canon Ships: I'm open to writing about already established canon ships, but if there's a particular pairing you'd like to see explored, don't hesitate to ask! I'm always open to new ideas and interpretations.

4. I prefer to write from the perspective of a main character (MC) rather than using the "reader" format. I have tried writing using reader but it's confusing for me, I am familiar with "y/n" but considering the history of that word in my days of reading fanfics I don't use that format either.

5. As a black writer, I value diversity and aim to reflect this in my stories. You'll find characters of various races and ethnicities in my masterlist, including Black MCs, White MCs, Latina MCs, Asian MCs, and Middle Eastern MCs. Authentic representation is important to me, and I try to strive for accurate portrayals of people from different backgrounds respectfully.

6. I'm relatively new to posting on Tumblr, and I have a life outside of the internet. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as I navigate this platform and find my footing.

Seeing how this blog is probably going to hit a major follower milestone soon and based on the most recent asks I've gotten, I thought it fitting to talk a little about how I handle:

Fanfic and Fanart Requests

As you know, my fanfic and fanart request box (aka, my ask box) is always open to everyone's ideas. I read your requests frequently and think about how to fulfill them to the best of my abilities. But, there are some conditions that make it more likely for me to pay attention to them.

I pick and choose and prioritize the ones I'm most excited about. Don't take this "ranking" personally. Whenever I have time and am in the mood to draw, I take a look into my ask box and see what stands out to me at that very moment.

My blog and its entire content are 100% self-indulgent. I do what I want when I want it. That's why I treat requests as suggestions and allow myself all creative freedom when I handle them. Should anyone ever be "disappointed" in what I did with their request, please be aware that I make zero money from this, and requests are not commissions.

My ask box is chronically full of new and old ideas. There are even some requests from the very beginning of this blog I haven't tackled yet because my goals for them are too ambitious for the little time I've got.

Now we tread into the psychological territory of how to phrase requests.

It's always nice if they include why you want me to draw a certain thing. An anecdote of how you found this blog, why you like it, or my art, makes my emotional heart beat faster and more likely to consider the request "worthy."

It also helps if they aren't sent on anon. I guess many of you out there don't have an account of your own, but anonymous asks easily blend together in my head and become indistinguishable from each other, the good and the bad. And for all I know, the requests I get could be from one single person.

These are my circumstances, and I hope you understand them to some extent. Please know that I can't give everyone a definite answer of when or if I'll get to their requests.

MY GUIDELINES.

These are guidelines regarding what I’m writing, who I won’t write for, and overall what I’d like to come out of this blog.

Please don’t request anyone that has had a past/or is openly racist, homophobic, transphobic, and ableist.

Please don’t request anyone that has been accused or convicted of sexual assault, grooming, or abuse. The last thing I want to do is trigger anyone and support those that have done horrible things.

Please don’t request triggering topics, such as: sexual assault, abuse, etc. Once again, I do not want to trigger anyone. Those are heavy hitting topics that honestly, a fanfic should not be about or include.

WHO I WRITE FOR.

At this moment, I am only writing for AEW. If I end up eventually watching WWE again, perhaps I’ll take requests. However, right now it is strictly only AEW.
